    why would you be frustrated? And as a UDFA, he probably doesn't have the talent to make millions, and it's not just a 'game', it's a job, a lifestyle, a full-time commitment to a team goal of winning a championship. Sorry , but I hate when people refer to professional sports as 'a game', it's so much more than that.

    The Bills have had some tremendous running backs over the years, the first one I ever watched regularly was OJ, Thurman was more complete, but OJ was something special to watch.

    I've always said 9 times out of 10 we win that game, that was the 1 of the 10. just curious about point #3 of clock management - I think Kelly screwed up by running with the ball, but other than that, i don't think the coaches managed the clock poorly.

    The sports fan in me loves watching him play, I guess as I got older i stopped the hate and just appreciated the beauty of a great athlete playing at an amazingly high level. The hate thing is pretty silly in my opinion, but if it gets you through your day...

    Terrible article. The Bills are 'building' off a playoff season. Not rebuilding. Each team has significant turnover every season, it's how rosters evolve year to year. I think it's very obvious what the Bills are doing. They are trying to win as often as possible, while building a team for long term success and a championship. I don't know why the writer is so confused.

    I just checked his stats. 10 TD, 20 INT in 1970 and he wins ROY? Dufek is an insurance agent out here in Phoenix, always wanted to stop in and meet him.

    We have plenty to be encouraged about. I think they are copying Carolina, which is not a bad thing. This will be Dan Morgans first job in this capacity, so it's impossible to say right now if he helps or not, but I trust Beane to hire quality people. I'm expecting a lot from this staff, I think they are on the right track, but plenty of work ahead. It should be a fun season.

    many dislike him already, it's nuts. Regardless of your views on the draft, he's our future. I'm excited to see what happens next.

    sure, but i guess the point was if you just use past performance as an indicator of future performance, you can be wrong. I hate using cliches to critique players or assess performance. It's lazy and probably wrong. My initial point was from the poster that couldn't understand how he had Allen as a 4th rounder and NFL professionals had him as a 1st. Kind of cocky.

    But KC had a quality starter in Smith and they were a playoff team. They didn't need to start Mahomes to be competitive.

    Yeah, that makes more sense. But practice and studying film does help and is necessary for a QB to get prepared for the defenses he will face live.

    that's pretty much how it should be. how would 5-6 win be good for the franchise? We won 9 last season, added quite a bit to our defense this offseason. Defense could be very good. It's possible AJ or Allen will be more effective than Taylor. I don't understand the 5 win season thinking.

    We are not supposed to. The scouts and GM are supposed to. and it's a good point. Kelly's college stats were crap and he had shoulder surgery, turned out ok.
