  1. So basically if we add someone like Mack on defense, add all new WR and TE, and have a line equal to the Bears line, which was fairly well rated in 2017, we'll be like the Bears 2018 team? That's all we need?
  2. Mack is the only player that has ever reminded me of LT in the way he just dominates. It's fun to watch him play.
  3. why all the love for Wyatt Teller?
  4. If it hasn't done him in by now, you gotta wonder what it would take.
  5. Lewis is 2-0, why would he be on the hot seat. The team looks great.
  6. Not really much you can do now. Once the season starts, it's usually too late. They definitely got put behind the 8 ball with the unexpected loss of Richie and Wood, but trading Glenn made the problem worse. They probably thought Bodine and Groy were good enough to help, but that doesn't seem to be the case.
  7. I'm sure Henne does help, but Andy Reid may be the best QB/Offensive coach of our generation.
  8. I guess my point is, from the looks of this roster, most of the players that would be on our next playoff team are not on the team now. It's not encouraging.
  9. growing pains with a rebuild.
  10. and a crappy oline, no WR, not much at TE, weak at LB, missing a CB....
  11. I'm sure there is a plan to get better, but is it a good plan?
  12. my comment was sarcastic.
  13. trust the process
  14. There's always a whipping boy, this time it's Ducasse.
  15. the fans aren't being paid to make personnel decisions, it shouldn't matter what the fans think.
  16. We have 4 problems on the offensive line, being the least of our line problems is still 25% of our line problem.
  17. What is the long term strategy we are supposed to be seeing here? Who are our long term WR's, who's our future RB, our OL, a couple linebackers, CB.... I don't see any of those people on the roster. How do we get these people?
  18. Not sure about Gilmore, Pats defense got whipped pretty good.
  19. ask Terry if I could hire my own coach and do I have more than 2 years to turn things around. And then to send Kim over later.
  20. If they didn't trade Glenn, then they would have only needed to fix 40% of the line. A lot easier to do.
  21. He'd be a great teammate with Peterman throwing to him.
  22. nope, he wouldn't just come in and turn the team around. Some of those 32 teams have Peterman as a starter, Cassell as a backup, AJ as a backup, not sure how bright they are. I'd be pretty confident saying that with a full training camp, Kaep would be better than Peterman.
  23. He'd still be better than Peterman, but I agree that after a couple years out of the league, it would be tough for him to be effective again, he wouldn't have a very long leash. Likely wouldn't survive a 5 INT half. And I think the aggravation part of this is overrated. I've been pretty disgusted with this franchise for the better part of 20 years, I could deal with the media, and honestly, if we would continue to suck , nobody else would be interested.
  24. He was never good enough to be ruined
  25. Do you think the team around him was any good, or is this all on Kaep? He seemed to have held up his end of the job well enough.
