Actually, it sounds more like if you don't know, you can't explain it to me. If I don't know, that means you should explain it to me. See how it works?
I wanted the team to address the weakness at WR and OL, i am extremely disappointed in our GM. It appears that they don't have an interest in being competitive while also adding new pieces to the team. You should be able to do both. Half of our 10 draft picks for next season are 5th round and later. Not too excited about that. It's troubling to take a step back in year 2. We should be moving forward.
What I remember most about Kay was that as QB coach in the playoff game in Cincinnati, the Bills had a clutch 4th down conversion in the last minute of the game called back for delay of game. Kay said he took too long to get the play in. Then he's our HC and the team was one of the worst in Bills history. When they decided to keep him on at the end of the prior season, I called the Bills to complain, first and only time I ever did anything like that.
QB and special teams player. What an awful time to be a Bills season ticket holder.
I don't know, it's a couple plays a game. Mostly fair catches. And after he does return a kick, he has time to rest while the offense is on the field. If he's the best they have, it should be considered.
I don't know. He was on the same team. I think this mentor thing, while it is a thing, is a bit overrated. Wentz was the 2nd overall pick, so he was expected to be very good. I'm sure a lot of young QB's that were busts had veteran backup QB's as well.
I think part of the logic behind the play design as to why they don't hand if off is that a mistake should be an incomplete pass and not a fumble. Most of the time.
but if we win more games it might mean we are a pretty good team that doesn't need a total rebuild. The defense playing like it did shouldn't be a total surprise. They were pretty good last season and spent 5 draft picks and 2 key FA's on improving. We certainly need to focus on the offense, but 1 more good draft and some good FA signings could make a big improvement. If yesterday was a good indication of how the team could play, we should hope for more wins.
So basically if we add someone like Mack on defense, add all new WR and TE, and have a line equal to the Bears line, which was fairly well rated in 2017, we'll be like the Bears 2018 team? That's all we need?
