    politically correct? Where does that come from . I was 'statistically correct'. You should have mentioned first that you weren't speaking as fact, often that is assumed. So the year the league goes crazy with roughing the passer penalties is the year they decide to not call it against Brady. Interesting.

    I didn't say dirty, but I felt it was a late hit. And I said so at the time. I believe it was a late hit, but I don't subscribe to conspiracy theories. It wasn't blatant and it wasn't dirty, just late.

    Allen was hit late, with the helmet. That caused his injury.

    I think we all know Peterman is done here when Allen gets healthy or they sign another QB, I don't have a problem with McDermott not trashing him in public.

    Who cares about the cap hit and I can't imagine it would be a huge one. But yeah, let's have a battle between 2 non NFL QB's to see who plays the next month or so. This is great.

    At least we don't have to deal with the 'distraction' of having Kaepernick as a backup all season and up to speed to play. This is much better.

    He's one of 2 healthy QB's on the team, the other being Peterman, I don't think many would be shocked if he started. How good do you feel about Anderson? this is an unforgivable situation to be in.

    Preseason means very little. It's been covered for years, no gameplan, vanilla defense, many players won't be in the league come opening day. Fans could get fooled year after year but pro personnel shouldn't be.

    I don't think we ever offered him a contract. My thinking was that they didn't feel they could sign both he and watkins, but if they weren't going to sign Watkins, they should have kept Woods.
