  1. crappy choices. I'll pass. Serious thread? 7-7 is much better than 3-11.
  2. I never mentioned Anderson's career as disqualifying him for that role.
  3. you didn't use the sarcasm font
  4. The Bills are like my fantasy football team, I sign and cut WR's every week.
  5. How do we know Anderson is any good at 'mentoring'? Not saying he isn't but are we just assuming he is because he backed up Cam for so many years. Cam was pretty solid as a rookie, maybe Anderson helped but he was an exceptional prospect to begin with.
  6. I've said this before, it's one thing to fool that fans, it's a problem when the coaches get fooled.
  7. I'm not saying AJ was the savior, but he was also playing with 3rd stringers. We saw with Peterman and Allen really that preseason games aren't a good indication for regular season performance. The coaches shouldn't get fooled by preseason games, that's what fans do. We can probably agree they botched the QB situation this season. Perhaps the previous few weeks wouldn't have been historically poor offensive performances and maybe we would have beaten Houston too. He might not have ruined so many fans Sunday's watching horrendous QB play. Do you want a chance to win games or don't you?
  8. Hard to dislike the guy, it just wasn't in the cards for him. On the bright side, he reached his dream, made some decent money and has a couple touchdown passes he can tell his kids about. He'll just have to conveniently ignore the TD: INT ratio.
  9. God, I would hope not. I can't imagine anyone would.
  10. Not every rookie is ready to play on opening day. It takes time. Perhaps they did a good job preparing him and when he finally played, he was ready. If you're handing out 8 year contracts based on beating the jets, how about inking Barkley long term, Logan Thomas...
  11. Haven't seen anything like that in quite a while. Impressive.
  12. I think it was the wrong move at the time. Up until yesterday it was still the wrong move. Even if Barkley becomes a decent asset it was poor judgement to move McCarron and rely on Peterman. The QB situation over the last month has been an embarrassment for the organization.
  13. that you think losing is a way to improve. I think you are wrong. A quality FA will get multiple offers, money not likely the only factor.
  14. You realize that if we do somehow win 4 in a row that it might mean we are not as bad as originally thought and might not need to tank for a top pick. And maybe easier to attract Free Agents...
  15. If the coaching staff still feels that Allen should have sat his rookie season, then Barkley gives them another opportunity to do that, at least for next week. Allen should see the field again this year though.
  16. It was against a Jets team that is worse than us. Nice to win big, but hold on.
  17. he had a 5 INT game for the Bears, his best was 3 TD's.
  18. It's one good game in an otherwise pretty poor NFL career , against a team that seems much worse than the Bills.
  19. Doesn't take much to impress you, does it? 'We have a quarterback'? He played well, he's had a crappy career. He played against a team that gave up. Let's not get carried away here.
  20. what are you worried about? he wouldn't be the first player to play on sunday without full reps during the week.
  21. it doesn't mean he wouldn't be ready to play.
  22. This offensive line could be one of the worst in Bills history, that would hurt any QB. Taylor rarely turned the ball over, that's a really big thing. Allen could still be a strong QB, not fair to judge him just yet. He has little talent around him and he's not fully prepared yet.
  23. So by losing most of their games they will become a winning organization.... like Cleveland did? So if Allen comes in and plays well, we win 4 or 5 games the rest of the season and that would be bad?
  24. losing has worked so well for us in the past.
  25. Not to get into a long back and forth, but 500 yards over 8 games equates to a 1000 yard season. Yes, these days that is worth around $16MM no matter how crazy it sounds. And they had a chance to draft Mahomes or Watson with their own picks in 2017.
