  1. They corrected a mistake that cost them a 3rd round pick. Not sure this means they are ok. Yeah, they fixed a mistake, but it was a costly one.
  2. most of those penalties are weak hits and away from the play. Refs need to be able to use discretion on penalties on punts.
  3. I believe the Brandon Reilly and Wyatt Teller fan clubs are meeting somewhere tonight.
  4. last year on his contract anyway
  5. All around would include the 3rd round pick we gave up for Benjamin. It was an obvious, necessary move. A failed trade in the end , though.
  6. I will likely be wrong, but during the game I was thinking the Benjamin would retire after this season. I've never seen anyone coast through a game/season like him. He may just take his millions and go home.
  7. Hard to imagine given the season, but this was by far his worst effort. We were talking during the game on how he was coasting through routes.
  8. Or have a different holder. Morten Anderson blamed Reich on that kick, saying he had the laces pointing (wide) right, which caused the kick to sail right. You had to bring this up , didn't you?
  9. I figured that would get a reaction. I differentiate between 'rough' and 'violent'. Example - line play is generally rough- defensive backs flying like a rocket at a receiver I consider violent.
  10. I'm not concerned that he doesn't realize the upgrade that unit needs. It's the worst offensive line I've ever seen. He knows it's an issue.
  11. He wouldn't be a $60 million cap hit.
  12. can't see the Bills moving high picks to acquire him.
  13. I don't mean to be a wise guy, but who is Reggie McKenzie? What's a waterbug type running back and why would we need that type?
  14. I can only answer for myself, I might be more inclined to forgive if he was already on the team, but I wouldn't be comfortable making any effort to sign him. I'm pretty sure he'll be back in the league next season. Unlike Ray Rice, he has quite a few productive years left and a team will take a chance on him. Not to sound holier than thou, but even provoked, hitting a woman is about as bad as it gets.
  15. I don't want him on the team and I'm not shocked that this incident happened. I don't think the 2 are related. KC said they cut him because he lied to them, you can believe that or not. As for the 'not on my team' stuff- some people have pretty strong feelings about violence against women and wouldn't feel good about signing someone like that for our team. I don't know why you question that. A violent person is a bad thing. Playing a sometimes violent sport doesn't mean you need to be violent off the field. Most players can handle it, he couldn't.
  16. In a way nobody else in the universe is. i've been watching the Bills since 1970. I feel very comfortable saying that this is possibly the worst O Line in the team history.
  17. Because some people might want Hill on the team, you are a 'huge yes'? Are there people out there that are really shocked? I haven't talked to any.
  18. with possibly the worst offensive line in ages too.
  19. If the guys returns it well, it doesn't reflect on Crossman, someone screws up , it does.
  20. If I recall, the contracts offered did not include as much guaranteed money as most other big ticket contracts. They basically offered a contract they knew wouldn't meet his demands.
  21. Every player needs to look out for himself because the team won't. Pitt had no intention of signing Bell to an extension, what if Bell plays and has an Alex Smith type injury- he loses the long term contract he has earned. His actions seem selfish, but they make some sense.
  22. I think it is. It's legal to push/shove the runner.
  23. I wouldn't be surprised at all, it's ridiculous though. Just because some people think we weren't 'supposed' to be good for a couple more years, they don't want to be good now. As if getting better sooner will hurt the future of the team. Would they feel better about the Sabres if we were just at .500 right now, because we weren't expected to be this good yet?
  24. crappy choices. I'll pass. Serious thread? 7-7 is much better than 3-11.
