  1. I think it's that a lot of people see him as a clown that will always get a job regardless of most recent performance while others that may be deserving don't get nearly the opportunity.
  2. The vast majority of the most recent dozen or so Super Bowls have been close , pretty exciting games to watch. If your concern is about the halftime show or the commercials, I can understand the disappointment.
  3. They're already well into the construction of the new stadium, plus any losses from this year will likely be made up pretty quickly in Vegas.
  4. Kelly also had an offense with 4 HOF'ers and I think 10 players that made the pro bowl. Let's get Allen some talent around him and he'll be just fine. That should be up to the coaching staff.
  5. and if your RB is running wild, hand it to him a few more times.
  6. I think this is an example of fans overplaying the 'mentor' role. It's not the same as a coach and probably not even necessary. What does a 'mentor' do? How much time does he 'mentor' Allen. I think it's mostly BS, if he offers some helpful advice, great, but a coach should have greater responsibility and ability. and he may not be a good one either. Being an experienced NFL player doesn't make you a good coach.
  7. I don't know the free agent QB's on the horizon, if there is a good one, I'm sure the Giants would be an attractive destination. Just thought Barkley was someone not to pass up. I may be wrong, but he's special.
  8. I thought Barkley should have gone #1 to Cleveland and then they take a QB at #4. Barkley is special , at 9 would have been a steal. Giants totally did the right thing getting him.
  9. I don't think there's an easy ' human' solution. They definitely need to work on the quality, some refs we know stink, but the NFL is difficult to officiate, so the opportunity to allow for correction of calls is necessary. More plays should be subject to review.
  10. How do you practice officiating? Not trying to be a wise ass. If they officiated in other leagues, but is there anything comparable?
  11. Pass interference calls and personal foul penalties should be reviewable/challenge calls. Those are probably the most significant calls of any game. Also, reviewable plays shouldn't have to be 100% conclusive to overturn, if you are watching a replay, the call should be as the official sees it at that point. 100% conclusive doesn't necessarily mean it's the correct call.
  12. What does that mean? What do they do during the week?
  13. Most of what the Patriots do is very simple, they just make very few mistakes and execute well. The game is simple, the execution, not so much. But it's a lesson for teams to learn.
  14. Wouldn't be so sure of that. No reason to like the Bills unless a fan already. Maybe Allen becomes a superstar and kids around the country like him , but by the time we get to a super bowl, a good majority of the fans watching will have no memory of the 90's teams or weren't even born when they played.
  15. No they are not. They're going to play for another championship in 2 weeks. No reason to think that , if Brady returns, they will be a favorite to get the the bowl again.
  16. depending on the timing, one play can hugely impact the game, I'm not making any other claims about the refs today, but that was significant and the Chiefs likely win the game with a correct call.
  17. The roughing call was significant, you have to admit, maybe the biggest missed call of the game at a critical moment which likely changed the final outcome.
  18. It's not supposed to even out. Is the NFL supposed to keep track and try to even calls out?
  19. did you watch today, he's still elite, no reason to think he won't be next season too.
  20. I always felt it was bad timing for Philbin, during the interview process for the Dolphins job, his son fell through ice and drowned. I could never understand how he was able to put the energy required for that job while he must have been totally devastated. I always felt bad for him every time I saw him on the sidelines.
  21. Rosen will be a solid QB, his line was worse than the Bills and it seems apparent to the organization that his coaching staff was really bad.
  22. There's at least 2 other Clemson receivers I'd pick over him. I noticed him during the coin toss, after that, not too much.
  23. it is his instagram account afterall.
