  1. They chose to get rid of Watkins, however you wish to phrase it. And as a 4th option in KC he has over 500 yards in 8 games, not too bad. Glenn was hurt much of the last 2 years, but he was not under performing when healthy and was certainly not expendable. If he was expendable, I would think we wouldn't notice his absence. Whatever the reasoning behind all these moves , the fact is , so far, it ain't working. And judging by other moves, a 3rd for Benjamin, a 7th for Coleman who barely lasted a couple practices, cutting McCarron for Peterman... I'm not instilled with confidence right now.
  2. He did choose to get rid of our top WR, and our best lineman even after knowing Incognito and Wood were finished. They failed to address the needs of the line and receiver positions adequately this season. They also traded the veteran QB the acquired to hold the fort until Allen was ready. A lot of this falls on McD and Beane.
  3. He may have been the only person willing to accept the position with any enthusiasm.
  4. they're different situations, but Rex was ruining the team. He took a championship quality defense and turned them into an average one at best. I think he was looking for a final paycheck before retirement and this was it. I think Pegula's realized he was a bad hire and took care of it. I'm not sure what they think of McBeane. If the plan was to rid themselves of contracts and rebuild throught the draft with lot's of cap space, they probably have time to work on that. I'm guessing they told Pegula's that and they are ok with it.
  5. I actually hope they told them to expect a really bad team, because if they thought this team was going to be good, I would be worried about their assessment of talent.
  6. Are you saying Peterman is a swing for the fences?
  7. Will there be enough quality players out there to fill the holes we need?
  8. then I got nothing
  9. We have depth at punter.
  10. how much fricken cap space do we need. Not saying to sign bradford, but at some point we need players not cap space.
  11. and 3 first round picks in the next draft.
  12. Honest question- If not a system coach , what type of coach is there? don't all coaches try to implement their own system?
  13. If we could get a CB as good as White, not sure I'd vomit. I'd also not get worked up about a 2019 mock draft in November 2018.
  14. I won't say Anderson wouldn't help some, but I'm not sure he has a background of developing QB's either. He worked with Cam, and as much as I like Cam, he still has too many flaws in his passing skills. Not a fault of Anderson, but not a ringing endorsement either. Darnold has more talent around him than Allen and Darnold is probably a higher rated prospect than Allen too.
  15. enough with the mentoring crap. Give Allen a few more lineman, 4 or 5 WR... that will help more than a 'mentor'.
  16. if he doesn't improve the situation, it can hurt. He may make it worse. That's how it can hurt.
  17. I understood moving on from Taylor, I also understood the value of a QB that didn't turn the ball over. Not turning the ball over keeps you in most games, even if you have difficulty scoring.
  18. McCarron played the final preseason game after his injury. He was ok to play If the coaches still thought Peterman was an NFL QB, that's on them. Fans can get fooled by preseason, coaches can't. Who cares what the fans were calling for? Who cares what the media thought about the trade? A very poor defense of the QB decisions IMO.
  19. we lose all the time, what's the point in getting too upset about it.
  20. First time anyone brought up this argument. Nice work. They aren't 'regular' employees, so the comparison ends there.
  21. I think it was in the 2nd half, Witten was talking of the QB options on a certain play - I'm paraphrasing " the QB could take a dump, or pass downfield". I was cracking up. Our QB took a dump i guess.
  22. Not 'real' hope for the Bills - just hope. We are far from even being remotely competitive.
