I stopped thinking I was an expert about the draft many years ago. I think Beane knows what he is doing and I trust him. You don't draft perfect players in the 3rd round, but if you are smart you can get some very good ones. Nothing I've read about the last 2 picks makes me think that they won't help our team. You have to try real hard not to be happy with what we got in the first 3 rounds.

Even though Allen is the key player on the offense, we are still going to be a run first team. We need backs. Do we keep 4? I don't know .

I'd be surprised if Yeldon has an equally as short leash as the other 2.

Part of the thinking could be that at some point Gore is going to start acting his age and maybe last season wasn't an aberration regarding McCoy. We need to improve from last season at RB, this is one way to do that. Our running game was awful last season. Maybe it wasn't just the lines fault.
