  1. I think, unless management steps in and dictates otherwise (something Rex seem to sort of open the door to, during yesterdays' pc), all those guys will play, and I bet the have a great game. I am watching the game...as long as I am watching, I want them to win...just can't get behind the tank thing, ever...even though it makes sense. I could croak during the off-season...
  2. Overreact a tad? There are a few players who have played their asses off all season...
  3. Something I read somewhere in the last day or two (sorry can't remember where) said we could pick as high as #9 if we "play our cards right" and lose.
  4. While I agree with the consensus that he looks a little overweight (I should talk!), I agree with you, though, that he has had some good moments. I bet he comes into next season in much better shape, and quiets some people down.
  5. I hear the Jets are close to working out a deal with Marrone!
  6. I think, like most players, he wants to be on a winning team...Buffalo can have a winning team...
  7. Maybe the Bills aren't as done with Tryod as so many fans are... Rex either?
  8. Has anyone credible source (if there is such a thing) reported the "final 3 game injury" thing, or is it just conjecture? If it that clause exists, and Rex says that Tyrod is the starter this coming week, then I think we can conclude that Rex and Tyrod aren't going anywhere next year...maybe Whaley is gone? Whatever the facts are, we don't know. National media has been wrong over and over again, about the Bills, since the Pegulas have been the owners, not sure if that has changed...
  9. I guess I saw the "stopped caring" part more than the "lost a step" part... but that was the rap on him in Houston as well...great player when he is into it..but he's not always into it.
  10. I think Mario has been a healthy scratch a few times this year in Miami...have to admit, I blamed a lot of his fall-off on Rex last year...but maybe he really is just done...
  11. Cool..but I gotta say, I barely remember him...he was no Tyler Thigpen!
  12. Thanks for the input. I normally take that rout (play your best players), and going away from it cost me one week, because I got too focused on matchups. The guys you have listed seem logical...the only things I am still pondering, are whether to start Kelvin Benjamin as a my FLEX, rather than Ingram or Hyde. Ingram in particular is maddening...he has been the ultimate "boom or bust" guy this year. He killed me few weeks, only getting 2-3 pts..of course I benched him last week, and he had a monster game. I do like, however, that the Saints are at home. While Benjamin hasn't had any huge games since September, he is usually reliable for 8-12 pts. Probably going to go with Ingram as my FLEX. My other issue is at tight end.. if healthy, Bennett seems the obvious pick for me...but that is if he is healthy. You just never know wtf is going on with New England...he has been "hurt" all year, but hasn't missed a start. But, as Gronk has re-integrated back into the Pats offense, Bennett has been more a blocking tight-end...but then, Gronk may not play on Sunday.... To top it all off, two of the 3 websites that I look at to kind of help me, have Zach Ertz as a top 5 tight end option this week, all three have Bennett in the 12-15 range. Decisions, decisions.... of course, two weeks ago, I started Tyrod against the Bengals, because all the national fantasy sites had him listed as a top play that week....while he didn't completely stiff, he was below his average that week...so what do they know?
  13. What happened to Tyrods' accuracy? Accuracy was not one of his glaring weaknesses in 2015...what is different this year?
  14. So, after a solid FF season, I took a tumble the last 3 weeks and lost 2 of 3 games, and fell from the second seed in our league, to the 6th (final) playoff spot, with a record of 7-5. There are a whole bunch of us lumped together, so I really got to win this week (final week of regular season) to secure a playoff spot. It is a PPR league, we start 1QB, 2RB, 2WR, 1TE, 1 FLEX (wr or rb), 1 K, and 1 D/ST Who would you start, if your season depended on it: QB (choose 1): Jameis Winston (@S.D.), Carson Palmer (vs Washington), Tyrod Taylor (@OAK) RB (choose 2): Cralos Hyde (@CHICAGO), Melvin Gordon (vs TB), Mark Ingram (vs Detroit), Devonte Booker (@JAX) WR (choose 2): Mike Evans (@SD), Odell Beckham (@PITT), Kelvin Benjamin (@SEATTLE) FLEX (either a remaining RB or WR) TE: Martellus Bennett (vs L.A.), Zach Ertz (@CIN) D/ST (choose 1): Miami (@BALTIMORE), Philadelphia (@CINCINNATI), Carolina (@SEATTLE) K: Josh Lambo (vs Tampa Bay) As always, your input is appreciated!
  15. Indecent exposure? Sexual acts with a minor?
  16. I had season tickets from 1980-1988...it didn't "turn into Animal House", it has always been that way. And, I will be honest, when I was 15-25, that was a big draw of going to the games for me, to some degree. Maybe people were a little more discreet now, and there aren't telephones (remember when we used to talk on the phone?) recording everything, but this kind of behavior has been going on for decades. And, it is hardly exclusive to Buffalo....that said, I do find it pretty embarrassing as well. To me, more than the "butt-chug", I have been amazed at how many wasted, intoxicated people are let into the games. To be fair, I haven't been to a Bills game, in Buffalo, since the Pegulas took over, so maybe it has improved some...but the last home game I went to was about 4 years ago, day after Christmas, nasty cold day, the Bills were beat down by the Patriots. I went with two of my sisters, who had never been to a game... I am not exaggerating when I say, there were young people (a lot of young girls, maybe even minors) who were so loaded they were puking on themselves, one passed out, face down, in a snow-bank right outside the entrance...it was pretty decadent stuff. And frankly, kind of depressing...
  17. Yeah, even the elite NFL defenses in the league today would not stack up against the best defenses of the 80's and 90's. The rules are really starting to kill this game...
  18. Kelso was not all that good, even in his prime....
  19. Agreed! Never really been a fan of Duff's...and I think sometimes, because Anchor Bar is so iconic (as far as wings go), locals go out of their way to rip on it...but I think Anchor Bar is way better than Duffs...but I would take LaNova or Casi-de-Pizza over either...
  20. I put us at #1, Redskins at #2!
  21. I am not saying the Bills will definitely win on Sunday, but I think they will bring their "A" game...meaning this isn't going to be one of those 38-7 type games...gonna be a good, close, game...eventually, the Bills have to beat them, with Brady. Why not this Sunday?
  22. I think both he and EJ will have long, if not spectacular careers in the NFL as backups. Hard to believe, Geno (11-19) started almost twice as many games as EJ (6-10) since they both joined the league. Personally, I think Geno showed some flashes here and there...there is some talent there.
  23. She is the only character that really has grown, in a believable way.
