  1. If Tyrod doesn't take it to the next level you can make this post a monument. Could even happen before or during the season. This regime is serious about building a contender. And...know exactly what they are doing.
  2. Agree, but I still feel the short term impact is negligible given the current state of our franchise and its' components.
  3. Make the necessary moves for long term success with minimal impact on the short term. Perfect IMHO.
  4. Not sure if you are serious but if you are I pretty much am of the same opinion and I dont see a big drop-off in talent if any at all, especially if Tre Davis plays like I believe he will. Tyrod still will have plenty of weapons offensively and an elite running attack. And, we'll like next years draft for sure. Just in time for the Patriots fall from the mountain.
  5. Exactly. Nothing more than a publicity stunt for the fans by the Browns marketing dept. Anyone else notice Bruce's 180 degree turn on their #1 draft pick? Was saying slow off the ball a couple months back now saying he's next coming of Dick Butkus...because the Browns payed him to be there. Publicity stunt. Nothing more, nothing less.
  6. I was gonna write mine down but I forgot. Thanks !
  7. You cant put a price on the dividends you are receiving from your un-selfish act of kindness for Demitrius. Good job by you being a positive influence on that boy's life.
  8. Totally uncool. You sir, sound like a man that is very sick in the head. There is help available.
  9. He was over-drafted, under-performed and has off-field issues. Kind of a no-brainer unfortunately.
  10. .....and a big giant goose egg left from 2013. Not one still on roster.
  11. Brady is the best QB in the history of football. How can any fan of the game not respect what he has accomplished ? A firey competitor with the skills to go along with it. I wish him well and I hope he continues playing a couple more years. I will miss him when he is gone. I like watching the position be played the way it is supposed to be played and with unmatched perfection. There wont be another like him in my lifetime. Any time I've heard him interviewed he's come across as a classy individual too He's got my respect. Busted his a** to earn it too. I always hope he plays lights out against the Bills.....in a losing cause.
  12. ....which will no doubt be a long-term positive football influence for the kids as they freeze their butts off in the wind-driven snow; and report to school Monday with pneumonia. At least they'll fill a few seats though !
  13. Does releasing Sammy get us closer to a playoff birth ? Not in my opinion.
  14. +1. and...Lets not forget how picking QB's early has worked for us in the past. 50% of 1st rounders fail in the NFL. The drop-off in QB's picked in later rounds is not all that great vs those picked early. I buy in to the Peterman pick. We've watched enough wasted picks on bad QB's. Lets cheer for this kid and if he were to beat out Tyrod (doubtful of course) we'd be pretty well stacked at the QB position.
  15. Whats with the hate for EJ ? A nice kid that couldn't cut it. He tried though and he worked hard. Lets not forget that Buffalo is the place where QB's go to die. He may have looked like he belonged had he been drafted into the right coaching, scheme, support etc.
  16. Very sad. Sincere condolences to you and your family. Very tough situation for sure.
  17. If I am a Jags fan I am loving this development.
  18. i think some of these guys need a hobby. (firechan 12,345 posts..LMAO !!)
  19. Good on you, man. I think Tyrod needs to be retained though unless we do something radical...like get Romo or some other seasoned Vet. Tyrod is OK, a bridge QB just good enough to not lose games. BTW, I think more people than will admit were surprised with how rattled EJ was yesterday. I know I was....fer sher. Happy New Year everybody.
  20. Sent from my XT1030 using Tapatalk Sorry guys. That was an accidental post.Sent from my XT1030 using Tapatalk
  21. Good answer. That'd be me as well. In fact, I find these games more relaxing to watch. No pressure to win ! You learn what kind of heart is on the roster too as well as guys that have packed it in for the season.
  22. It is demonstrating an ability to open up an account of any kind.
  23. Totally get your frustration, but let me disagree respectfully. Wagon, as I see it we are very close to playoff caliber as I type this. All we need is a big improvement on D,and some WR help. I think your suggestion is solid, but not the timing. If we take him now and play him the O (which was pretty good this year) needs more of a rebuild to fit his strengths. If he were to be available in a later round...by all means grab him but it is my opinion the ship is pretty steady. Just need a defensive mind to fix that side of the football.
  24. ......and if EJ is successful on another franchise the same guys running him out of town here will say how silly the Bills were to let him go. LOL ! Gee. which way is the wind blowing today?!?! I'm in !
  25. ..........and we get a playoff birth. ^^^ Its all that needs to happen.
