  1. Another advantage of building on current site...field house and administrative buildings do not need to be replaced. For all those touting a NF site, sorry, but with all the corruption in NF, there is no way I can see a stadium being built there EVER.
  2. If I was a betting man, after all these studies/meetings/site visits take place, the new stadium will end up adjacent to RWS(one of the surrounding parking lots), or in place of the current stadium. PS IMO...this would be the best choice.
  3. I'd love to be convinced that I am wrong, but what you stated above is laughable. With Williams track record in Tampa, it wouldn't suprise me if he doesn't even make it out of training camp, let alone being a more productive WR than Johnson, and that is coming from someone that was never that big of a fan of Stevie.
  4. How can the Bills be a "win now" or "going for it" team when they let arguably their best player(Byrd) walk in FA and then traded their best WR(Johnson). I am okay with the retooling, but make no mistake about it, their moves are not indicative of a win now team.
  5. I'm still around. I don't think I've posted since this past summer. Between the Sabres and the Bills, other than looking towards the draft, there is not much worth posting about. Happy News Years!
  6. I could not have said it any better. Well done!
  7. The most common mistake made on this board is assuming that you are talking about intelligent college graduates. Reality is, in some cases you are dealing with people who because of gifted athletic talent, skated through high school and college with no intention of taking advantage of great educational opportunities.
  8. I agree. Summer is too short in WNY to begin with.
  9. I can't wait for someone to make a reference to an asterisk or cheatriots. <YAWN>.
  10. I flipped on Rich Gaenzler yesterday on 1270(or whatever station he is on from 12-3), and he had on a guest who covers ND football talking about the Everett Gholston mess, and what to expect from ND in 2013. I am far from a ND fan, but how refreshing it was from this... Mon - Sully/Hamilton/Bills Tue - Hamilton/Sabres Wed - Sully/Bills Thu - Hamilton/Sabres Fri - Sabres/Bills/Sabres/Bills Following week - rinse/repeat If WGR hosts/producers put a little effort into booking guests, and being just a little knowledgeable about other sports, it would make a world of difference. One other thing...stop taking calls for the most part. The people who call in are mainly idiots who just want to hear themselves talk.
  11. I've never been on a cruise, but have been thinking about finally taking one. Not to sound anti-social, but do they still make you sit with a group for meals? Sorry but I have no interest in paying $$$ to dine with strangers.
  12. If the Bills plan on cutting Stevie, Woods, Gilmore, Dareus, K. WIlliams, and Byrd, then yes, other teams will be very interested in our cuts. If these are not the players you are referring to then...  .
  13. By not showing up, he has a built in excuse to show up for training camp severely overweight...again!
  14. I'll take the under on 6-1/2, and won't look back.
  15. I can confidently say you would be in a minority of less than 1%(maybe even .5%). Nobody wants to attend a SB in freezing temps.
  16. Tell that to any of the people attending the SB in any warm weather city, and see what they think.
  17. I wonder if they will hire a new Assistant GM?
  18. ...but but but, they weren't talking about the Bills when the OP was listening, therefore, they must NEVER talk about the Bills.
  19. Given the lack of a 3rd choice(as others have mentioned), I went with "We're suckers!"
  20. ...and when Terry Pegula bought the Sabres and had his first press conference, he didn't come across as a billionaire. What's your point?
  21. Combine them all together and they still have ZERO trade value. Thanks for the laugh!
  22. Maybe the buzzword should be TALENTED? They can line up a player at 6 positions, but if he can't play them at a high level, what good is it. Jack of all trades, master of none.
