  1. It would be a buzz at ESPN and around NFL front offices, but... IMO, most Bills fans had never heard of Chip Kelly before last week, and the number of season tickets that would be sold as a result of a Kelly hiring would be minimal.
  2. Cleveland sports fans are tortured even more than Buffalo sports fans.
  3. ...add me to the group puzzled by the people jumping on his bandwagon.
  4. I want to see the Patriots win, so this board will explode with hundreds of threads related to... - Patriots cheat - Brady is a system QB - The Patriots are in decline etc....
  5. ...and some gambles are larger(much larger) than others.
  6. This has been stated several times(including by yours truly), but is worth repeating. Kelly has ZERO NFL coaching experience. It would be a huge gamble to bring him in.
  7. PTR...maybe I missed it. Where did you see the part about a stadium being built by 2023? I don't recall seeing it in the News. I know there was a mention of a study being done at a certain point in the lease, but nothing specific like what you mentioned.
  8. Show me a market where the team has sucked for 13 years, yet the newspaper columnists in that market are fawning over the team? I am trying to respect your opinion, but you are way over the top in terms of your criticism of "harsh" Bills fans and local media.
  9. I know you are just quoting what was said but...Belichick happens to have a future HoF QB at the helm. More often than not, a great QB makes coaches look great.
  10. IMO...the press conference reference to a new stadium(without the word "potential") was a slip up, and what he said on WGR is probably what he should have stated during the press conference. Even before yesterday, it was clear that the $130 million is just a band-aid to get them through the current lease.
  11. YES!!!! PT Brandon has no limitations or restrictions, and we still have a 70 year old GM, who Brandon described as a great talent evaluator, but not once did he mention if Nix even has a clue how to build a NFL team. I was wrong earlier, and I apologize....things are looking up, and 13 years of sucking has immediately been erased from my memory!!!! It is amazing what one press conference from a public relations whiz kid can do. GO BILLS!
  12. Fine. I'll shut the F-U-C-K up Mr. Moderator.
  13. You know what...jump for joy with Brandon(marketing guy turned man in charge of NFL organization) being in charge, and the notion that Ralph/Littman are no longer involved. I'll sit back and wait to be proven wrong.
  14. The new coaching staff will give me the answer that I want.
  15. I'll be waiting for you to post the quotes that state this.
  16. When I hear that Brandon is in charge of dictating what the budgets are within the football operations area, I will be a believer. Until then, consider me skeptical.
  17. Not with Ralph as the owner. I've witnessed this act for 45 years of so. I think history agrees with me.
  18. Go look at the coaching staff for the last 3 years(or any period of time over 50 years), and show me where the Bills were big spenders on the coaching staff.
  19. Because in 50+ years of owning the Bills, Ralph has always controlled the purse strings. IMO...someone(being Ralph, Littman or other), will still be setting a budget for Brandon/Nix/Whaley.
  20. I am. No way Ralph/Littman will turn over the checkbook to Brandon, and tell him to spend whatever he wants.
  21. Who decides what the budget is for the entire coaching staff? When you realize that it is not Brandon, you will come to the conclusion that this is just more of the same.
  22. ^^^^^^^^^^ 100% Correct!
