Jerry Sullivan can go to hell
LabattBlue replied to Dragonborn10's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
When did Sully become a beat reporter? Honestly, the anger towards Sullivan is laughable. If you really want to get that upset over something related to your favorite sports team, channel that anger towards the man in charge of this joke of a franchise. -

Buffalo Is Going To Beat Houston

All fantastic choices. Some of the greatest threads in TBD history would not have happened without them.

Newspaper article: Anchor Bar
LabattBlue replied to \GoBillsInDallas/'s topic in Off the Wall Archives
I work in the area, and once or twice a year I have some vendor who insists on going there. The food sucks, is overpriced, and the service is usually bad. It hasn't changed in 15 years. This is coming from a guy who doesn't exactly have high standards when it comes to restaurants. -

I'll go one step further...It's not just the wings, the ENTIRE restaurant sucks. It can go toe to toe with the best tourist traps across the USA. -
Dareus deals with adversity arcticle
LabattBlue replied to bmur66's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Dareus was far from being a "monster" in 2011 unless you are comparing it to his crapola play in 2012. He had a decent year in 2011, but I expected more from the #3 overall pick. Unless there is a commitment to getting in shape, I have a feeling he is heading down the road of mediocrity. -
I'd gladly take either just ONCE in my lifetime. The clock is ticking...

Not sure I follow you. What does a 19,000 seat "arena" in Omaha, have to do with a proposal for a 70,000 seat domed "stadium". We already have a 19,000 seat arena in downtown, which could host all the sporting events you listed, outside of the swimming, and even for that, there is a modern swimming facility in downtown Buffalo.

IF the problem with Mario all revolves around effort, benching him will not do any good. He has his "payday", and if because of that money, he has put it in cruise control, there is nothing the Bills can do except wait for a point in the contract where it becomes cost effective, and cut him. It is mind boggling that Bills fans went from the highest of highs when Mario was signed, to today.

Didn't mama ever tell you not to believe everything you hear and read. It is not like they are running some 11 DB defensive scheme that no one has ever heard of. A 4-3 base defense is something most of these players have seen throughout their football playing days. It's not that complicated.

Says who? Sounds like nothing but an excuse to SUCK for another season, which is part of a 12 season SUCKFEST!

I have no problem with a domed stadium, and would actually consider buying season tickets if we ever got one. I have several issues with this proposal... 1 - Location. OP is the perfect spot, and if they ever decide to build a new stadium, it should be built where one of the existing stadium lots are today. 2 - Convention Center. Forget about it. We barely have use for the one we have now, and Buffalo is not exactly the mecca of convention destinations. Can you imagine going to a convention, and finding out there is nothing else there but a barren waterfront? 3 - Retractable Roof. Waste of money. Either open air stadium or dome. Not both. 4 - Ownership. A new stadium proposal should not even be open for discussion, until new Bills ownership is in place. In the meantime, spend the 100+ million on fixing up RWS.

Here's my Houston game prediction, and it's spot on.
LabattBlue replied to FireChan's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I'd be shocked it the Bills scored 21 against the Texans unless 14 of the points came in mop up time when Houston has their 3rd stringers in, and the Bills have their starters in despite the score being 45-7. -
Could the Raiders Get Jairus Byrd from Bills?

Two blogs written by the same person two months apart, just replacing Detroit with Oakland. What part would you like to be credible? -
Marcel Dareus [is a no show]
LabattBlue replied to Wagon Circler's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I have complained so much about Dareus looking like he could drop at least 25 pounds, that If AKC was still around, he would accuse me of starting up the Dead Horse Beaters Society again. PS Time has shown that the Society was 100% correct in their assessment of Cement Shoes Bledsoe! -
It would be great if it as easy as saying we need a QB and a couple of LB's in the 2013 draft, and we will be all set. Chances of hitting on all 3 in one draft class are slim to none unless you are picking 3 times in the first round, and even then it is still 50/50. Also, your use of the word "great" should be reigned in a bit. Glenn and Gilmore have looked good in their limited NFL experience.

I could have save you a lot of typing. The answer to the question is...Wilson.

No it doesn't. It starts and end with the OWNER. Gailey is just a PART of the problem, not the ONLY problem.
