    Sorry, there is NO WAY I want a guy as the next HC of the Bills, who has never coached a single minute at any level of the NFL game. Just dealing with the players, there is a huge difference with coaching 17-22 year olds, and primadonna 22-40 year olds. IMO...It would be a disaster.

    He's been gone from the Bills for 6 years, is 37 years old, and if he signed with the Bills tomorrow, he would immediately become their best LB and it wouldn't be close. Just one of many moves that has helped keep the Bills in the bottom 1/3 of the league for the last 13 years.

    Positive review of Gailey? The guy had a .333 winning percentage. This ranks right of there with the happy and proud to be a Bills fan thread.

    "Happy" and "Proud" are words that should not be associated with this organization from a fan perspective, unless you are HAPPY that another dreadful season is over, and PROUD that the Bills will once again be picking in the top 10.

    I didn't say he was involved in day to day operations. My point was that he is involved at some level in terms of the football operation. It may just be in terms of the hiring/firing of the GM, but more than likely he does have some say. Don't put words in my mouth about player/coach selection. See my previous post directly above.

    What about the Don Banks SI article referenced in a thread just started, that states Brandon is in favor of cleaning house. Sounds like he is plenty involved in the football operation.

    Well nobody knows for sure unless you have inside information(not counting what Buddy Nix says during an interview), so I guess we will disagree.

    So all they need is better coaching and management, and then you go on to state that they need major upgrades at the QB, WR and LB positions. Huh?

    Prove me wrong. Since when does a CEO have nothing to do with the business he is in charge of? Did he have any say in hiring Nix? If so, that is a major football decision. If he did not, his CEO title is a fraud.

    Would you feel better if Kelly announces Gailey was returning, but not if Nix, Wilson, Brandon etc... make the announcement? Seriously?

    You do know that Brandon is the CEO, and not the head of Marketing, correct?

    ...and Kelly for OC, Tasker for ST coach, Reed for WR coach, Thurman for RB coach, Bruce for DL coach, and bring back Chuck Lester to do.... whatever he did best.

    So just because he is a HoF QB for the Bills, we should give up on finding anyone else with experience for scouting players & building a team, and instead say "why not?", and turn it over to Kelly? You have no idea how quickly and how bad it could really get.
