  1. If it wasn't for my DVR, football would be totally unwatchable. I can watch a recorded game in about an hour and I don't have to see or listen to commercials or insufferable commentators like Dan Dierdorf or Steve Tasker.
  2. I would be willing to bet a substantial amount that Fairley does not make it to number 8!!!!!
  3. DT Nick Fairley !!! Look at the speed, power and quickness!
  4. I agree. I hope he is available, but I doubt it. If I had an option to do so, I would attempt a modest trade down and still get Dareus. It will never happen. Just dreaming.
  5. It doesn't mean he's made the team.
  6. You're not even close. Kap is nothing like JP. You just don't know what you are talking about.
  7. Remember Leif Larsen? He was a bench press beast, but unfortunately he couldn't play football.
  8. Me too! I guess people have already forgotten how utterly pathetic the Bills run defense was last year. The Bills could take Newton and then draft a defensive lineman in the top 3 next year. I actually think the Bills will wake up and start to build the defense. Two DL's and 2 LB's needed.
  9. Nice effort, but filled with statistical and logical flaws. Does a great QB make the team or does a great team make the QB? It's a riddle without a definitive answer. There are too many variables to say which variables are most important to winning championships. Even if you could narrow it down, the exceptions will always muddy the waters.
  10. Can't hold the the current regime responsible? How about the Ralph Wilson regime? Can he blame it on the previous owner? Great post. Bills reality sucks!
  11. Is this a serious question? The real question should be, "Does Aaron Maybin have what it takes to become an NFL player?"
  12. Absolutely correct! Soccer is so much bigger it doesn't even deserve to be mentioned in the same category as the NFL. Soccer is important to about 6 billion people whereas the NFL is important to about 300 million. Soccer is at least 20 times larger. I love the way American football champions declare themselves "World Champions" when nobody else in the world plays the same game. Hubris.
  13. In the "this will never happen department", I hope the Bills trade down 5 or 6 places and pick up an additional 2nd rounder and then draft one of the remaining quality defensive linemen like Dareus.
  14. Congratulations on drafting Bulaga! Fortunately for the Packers, the Bills didn't have a need for a starting right tackle!
  15. Correct. Every year it's the same old story. Misinformation, speculation, and bullsh!t. It means nothing.
  16. The red helmets and the all dark blue uniforms were awful. I would prefer the white helmets with a much lighter shade of blue. Close to the throwback color style, but updated for the 21st century.
  17. Vegas bookies did NOT take a bath. Vegas sports books made money, but not very much compared to previous years. Here's the story: http://www.bloomberg.com/news/2011-02-08/super-bowl-packers-win-nets-vegas-sports-books-smallest-profit-in-13-years.html
  18. Green Bay was the favorite by 2.5 pts.
  19. Agreed. The games are a waste and are unwatchable! NFL greed seeks to extract every nickel and dime possible.
  20. I agree that if you blow the top pick it's hard to make up that lost ground with late round picks. The Bills fall from grace can be directly linked to really bad drafting over the last 10 years.
  21. Worst position - owner
  22. The "smartest" thing Buddy Nix has said since he's been in Buffalo, "We gotta get bigger" I agree 100%. So why did you draft Spiller #1 last year?
  23. Look at the 1st round picks over the last 6 years: Buffalo - Whitner, McCargo, Lynch, McKelvin, Maybin, Wood, Spiller Green Bay - Aaron Rodgers, AJ Hawk, Justin Farrell, BJ Raji, Clay Matthews, Bryan Bulaga Conclusion: The Bills have been the master of their own demise. Green Bay has succeeded because they pick better. The Bills could have had the starting right tackle in Bulaga but they preferred Spiller. They chose Maybin ahead of Matthews! What wins in the NFL? Talent. Talented owners, talented GM's, talented coaches and talented players. The Bills fail on all counts.
