  1. Very thoughtful analysis, but here is the problem in your words " here is the move that makes complete sense and watch for this on draft day" Making sense is a rare commodity. Most teams are chicken sh$t when it comes to making big impact deals that could be second guessed. Most teams are content to "play it safe" and make the consensus draft choice. Another example, most coaches choose to punt on 4th down in short yardage situations even though statistical and probability analysis has shown that they should go for it far more often. It doesn't make sense, but they do it anyway.
  2. Hopefully the QB won't be flat on his back when the receivers get open!
  3. Felser was right again. It's about ticket sales! More people will attend an early season game in better weather than vice versa. It is a fact. It's not about competitive advantage over a warm weather team. This completely misses the point being made as usual. Bills fans are screwed by the league with this schedule. I don't know if the league did this intentionally, but it will hurt attendance most likely and therefore hurt Ralphie.
  4. Best case scenario: most all the QB prospects get drafted ahead of the Bills and someone desperately wants to trade up to get the last top QB prospect - Bills trade down a few spots and get the extra premium pick Best case scenario # 2: The Bills get a choice to take one of the following - AJ Hawk, D'Brick or Huff. Worst case scenario: The Bills have V. Young and Cutler on the board and the Bills don't get any trade offers and still take Ngata at #8. My best scenario would be: Bills trade down - exchange number #1's which they use to take DT Bunkley and pick up a #2 as well.
  5. I couldn't agree more!!!! As I've said many times, the Bills are not contenders this year. By the time the Bills are contenders, Nate will be past his prime. Get something valuable now, save $$, and rebuild the right way- drafting the next T McGee. He is not a shutdown corner, but wants to be paid like one. He got burned quite a bit last year. Chambers made him look like a fool.
  6. Do the Bills lead the league in camp fodder? Half the roster is camp fodder - YIKES!!!!
  7. Maybe the Bills can re-sign Leif Larsen to play DT too!!!! Instead of throwback jerseys the Bills are going "Throwback players" Great concept. What's Ernie Warlick doing?
  8. I think David Carr, Reggie Bush, Andre Johnson, and Eric Moulds might be more exciting to watch. P.S. I read on ESPN news ticker the trade was EM for draft PICKS (plural) Curious to know if anybody else noticed this?
  9. What is interesting to me is this: "The Texans have agreed to pay Moulds $14 million over four years, in a deal that includes a $5 million signing bonus. " Moulds contract with Buffalo calls for him to receive $7.1 million in 2006. It seems to me he is going to take a big paycut to play anywhere else. I am guessing his contract with Houston will be backloaded. Maybe something like $1.25 million 2006, $2.25 million 2007, $4.25 million 2008, $6.25 million in 2009. He plays two years and makes about $8.5 million (salary plus bonus) from Houston. He will probably get cut before he sees the bigger numbers in 2008-9. It seems to me he could make more taking a paycut and staying in Buffalo. Maybe the Bills wanted him to play for $2 million per year? Don't let the door hit you in the behind, Eric!
  10. Your syllogism is seriously flawed.
