  1. I guess it takes two to make a great bust!
  2. Let's just hope he is better than former U of Texas flops named Mike Williams and Derrick Dockery!
  3. If you believed all the posts on TBD you might think the Patriots were idiots and hadn't made the playoffs in the last eleven years. Thank goodness the management at One Bills Drive is so much smarter than those perennial loser Patriots! Hey, we stole Thigpen right from under their noses. Sweet!
  4. I agree. Smith really caught my eye last year. He was dangerous whenever he was on the field.
  5. I watched every Nevada game Taua played the last two years. He is a between the tackles runner with very good instincts. He is not a speed back, but he is quick. He is different than any of the other Bills backs and he has an outside chance of making the team.
  6. No offensive tackles?
  7. I like the draft picks, but you can bet your last dollar the Bills will be signing one or two LB's in free agency!! They will be signing an OT in free agency as well. Relax - it's July 27 and camp hasn't even opened.
  8. I'll join you on that limb. Where do people get their facts?
  9. Exactly. If you play a four receiver formation you have to count on your 3rd and 4th guys to get open. The Bills biggest obstacle for success is that two of the top 5 teams in the league are in their own division.
  10. Well, look at it this way. The Bills were last in the league in run defense with him. How bad will they be without him? I don't think it was a significant loss. He was average in too many areas. You need a guy who can make impact plays and he didn't make them. It's no accident they drafted a couple ILB's. The five year rebuilding plan is only in year two.
  11. WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY too early for this thread! Maybe when they get a 53 man roster set.
  12. Kelsay is the Bills' version of Tim Connolly. Addition by subtraction. He can't leave soon enough, but the Bills management seems to love him for some reason.
  13. The Bills can do better. He's not an impact player or a difference maker. He'd be a very good college linebacker where everybody is a little slower. Let's face it, Poz is not fast enough or good enough. It doesn't mean he's bad, but just not good enough.
  14. Pegula is exposing Ralph Wilson's true colors. Now it is obvious what an ambitious owner looks like and conversely what a loser owner looks like. Hopefully the next Bills owner will be more like Pegula and less like Wilson. If Wilson cared about Buffalo he would have already made arrangements to keep the team here after his demise, but he has done nothing of the sort. Hey Ralph, "You can't take it with you!"
  15. He's not saying anything new. Everybody in the league agrees with him except for the people at One Bills Drive and many at Two Bills Drive. It's not my money so the risk is very low!
  16. You can have the best innovator, but I prefer best won-loss record.
  17. Ralph was right in the sense that the last CBA gave more money to the players than Ralph wanted to give them. How many NFL owners lost money under the terms of the last CBA? Ralph wants a bigger slice of the multi-billion dollar pie and he wants the players to get less. Is that a valid reason? For Wilson the answer is, "Yes!" Wilson is also envious of the revenue generating capacity of teams like Dallas and he wants a bigger share of that money too. So I guess the main two objections Wilson has are still in place. Both involve how does Wilson get more money for Wilson!
  18. I wonder if the Bills can ban the drunken obnoxious idiots too!
  19. I can't argue. http://msn.foxsports.com/nfl/story/green-bay-packers-are-best-nfl-organization-in-2011-rankings-060111
  20. Just as a football player, OJ Simpson was in an elite class of all-time great RB's. This conversation is silly. There is no comparison. I watched OJ play two years at USC and every game with the Bills. He was in a class by himself. He had everything: elite speed, power and tremendous instincts. Anybody who thinks Thurman was better than OJ really doesn't have a clue. Case closed as far as I'm concerned. As a person, well that's another story!
  21. Let me put it this way, if Terry Pegula was owner of the Bills would the Bills have a better chance of success? I think so without a doubt. I believe Pegula's attitude towards ownership is to respect his employees and players and then you will get the best out of them. Hire the best people, treat them with respect, and compensate them for achievement and you will build a winner. Wilson takes a different point of view that is not consistent with winning. The Bills will always fail under Wilson. In addition, he cares more about his money than the Bills fans - always has.
  22. Khaled Elsayed has declared Kyle Williams as one of the league's best players. It must be true because I read it on the internet! Who is Khaled Elsayed and who cares what his opinion is? My point exactly.
  23. Good luck with the new turf. BTW, Ralph isn't cheap, but he makes really bad decisions (with his money). Ask Chris Kelsay if Ralph is cheap. Not cheap, but not smart.
  24. I guess everyone is really going to be surprised when Chris Kelsay makes the Wall of Fame someday. How is this guy still employed?
