    I was a huge Mets fan as a kid, growing up in the Daryl and Dwight years! Dwight Gooden was my favorite player, but I loved Darryl and would always try to mimic Darryl’s batting stance! he really turned his life around. I am hoping for a full recovery!

    Agreed. crazy to think that he has been in the league 10 years and is 33 years old. Seems like we were talking about drafting him like it was yesterday.

    agreed. These RB contracts are super dumb. Even if a team wanted a really good free agent RB, the market is flooded with them. Can probably wait a week or so and get someone for the same production and half the cost.

    sounds brutal. Good luck recovering! Probably due to my body being all messed up, I have come down with a bad head cold!

    exactly. It felt like he had about a million close call/misses on those chances. Felt like he just didn’t have the body control and awareness to be very good at those.

    He just needs to be pretty good and they are a SB contender. Stellar defense, special teams, and coaching already. They have the receiving threats too. And with arthur smith calling plays, they have a competent play caller.
