Preseason before getting hurt.

Bengals best case scenario is .500 now. They invest in shiny parts (Burrow, Chase, Higgins), but they ignore the engine (O-line and most of the defense).

Tre looked good in run support today, which surprised me. He still seems to be a liability in pass coverage.

Jets were pumped to play Aaron Rodgers. Against the Bills, they came crashing to Earth. It's a reflection on Glenn not getting his team prepared. Only his second game, so maybe he'll learn. I do like Glenn, but we'll see if he is a victim of the Peter Principle.

Our WRs are smart. They come back to the ball when they need to, as demonstrated on a few plays last night. If we ever have a receiver that stands around with Josh scrambling, he should be quickly on the bench. They are not great receivers, but they are great working with Allen.

Hancock can't get healthy soon enough. He stood out in preseason.

He's definitely better than the alternative of Epenesa. Epenesa looked lost. I'm sure Bosa will get a few subtle reminders about his responsibilities when reviewing the game this week. He probably did make Oliver's job easier.

I was positive we'd pick Humphrey to eventually replace an aging, oft-concussed Center. Would've made perfect sense, but Beane seems to fall in love with certain players. Can't win em all.

Arguably Beane's worst move. Never understood two DEs in the 1st and 2nd rounds.

Just signed with the Raiders

Saw an article that said Shaq's finally participating in team drills. Ciarlo is taller, younger. With little prep for Thompson, I wish they'd give Ciarlo a chance to see what he can do. Start Shaq on PUP.

He's not the prototype QB and he went up against marginal NFL players against the Bucs. Numbers looked great, but he's just too short to excel against first team defenses. PS QB at best.

Sooner rather than later, Bills will need to draft a QB. In the meantime, Trubisky behind the #1 OL is fine as a backup. Always tough on him to play behind the #2s in preseason.

This guy plays with heart and effort. He'd be good to keep on the PS, just to serve as a role model for hustle.

McLaurin isn't the only unhappy player in DC. Moving on from Brian Robinson?

I was hoping Hancock would replace Hamlin. Not sure how severe the injury is, but he is a player we couldn't afford to lose. Only insurance we had at Safety.

As usual, the defense stands around. They don't react to a player entering their zone on pass routes. Too soft in coverage. Our DEs run right past the QB on a pass rush and with no LB support behind them, QBs can run for ten yards easily. Landon Jackson has zero fundamentals. In college, he was bigger and faster than most. Now, he's just another average sized DL. I have a feeling Jackson will be inactive for many games this year, but we have the Hoecht suspension looming. Groot is going to be very busy in the first few games.

Up: Ciarlo - hustler, would like to see more of him Hancock - good presence on the field. Lost INT due to Clueless Jackson Couch - could be a playmaker Shavers - his situation reminds me of Fred Jackson's early days. Always looked better than others, but still wound up on the PS. Lundt - will displace Vandemark, who got pushed around yesterday Ty Johnson - should be RB2. I consider him RB1-B Down: Tre White - opponents will be targeting him all year. Easy 5-10 yard pickups. Landon Jackson - not great awareness on the field Hawes/Davidson - raves in practice for Hawes didn't seem to translate to the field. Cut Davidson now. Bayer - nothing more needs to be said. Elijah Moore - did he even play? He and Samuel must be sweating Shavers/Gosnell/Hamler's performance.

I was happy to see the Elijah Moore signing. He won't have the YAC of Shakir, but I think he'll be a quality replacement.

The WNBA players are just disappointed it wasn't a strap on.

Etienne's numbers have dropped quite a bit from his rookie year. You can blame it on injuries, but that's a big red flag to me. Bigsby has essentially beat him out in Jax, and I would question after three years that he doesn't have as much in the tank as he should. Feeling Bills will get Cook signed now that Kyren Williams has set a realistic number.

Just looking at the 2021 2nd rounders, 3 have been named all-pro, and I'd say 90-95% are still on an active roster, not necessarily with the original team. I have no problem giving them up to 95% or so guaranteed, so Sanders should be slotted getting just above 90% IMO.

If Emmanwori falls, yes. Grant at DT. Need that run stuffer to free up Oliver. DTs seem to be plentiful in this draft though, so I'd wait on DT. In later rds, I like Vernon Broughton. CB I like is Hairston. Speed and decent height. This is the likely pick. An good Edge may fall to our 2nd rd picks.

Bills are establishing a pattern of signing decent WRs without the big egos. They may never go with a #1 WR again. Worked for another team years ago.
