Dak Prescott situation turning into a Kirk Cousins standoff?
ALF replied to HOUSE's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
The free agency period for NFL players begins at 3 p.m. March 18, and the Cowboys have 25 unrestricted free agents they must evaluate. Not everyone will return — retirement, money or skill are all part of the equation. With new coach Mike McCarthy in charge, the 2020 roster will have a much different look. https://www.dallasnews.com/sports/cowboys/2020/02/14/5-cowboys-likely-to-depart-why-its-time-for-jason-witten-dallas-to-part-ways/ Will be interesting -
Trump's 'Deep State' conspiracy theory just took a big hit That conspiracy theory, which has never had much merit, suffered a near-fatal blow Friday afternoon when the Department of Justice declined to pursue criminal charges against former FBI deputy director Andrew McCabe. https://www.cnn.com/2020/02/14/politics/andrew-mccabe-donald-trump-department-of-justice/index.html

Jameis Winston Undergoes Lasik Eye Surgery After Throwing 30 INT in 2019 Tampa Bay head coach Bruce Arians even joked about the quarterback's vision during his year-end press conference. "He can’t read the scoreboard but he can see the guys in front of him," Arians said. "So he's alright." https://bleacherreport.com/articles/2876013-jameis-winston-undergoes-lasik-eye-surgery-after-throwing-30-int-in-2019?utm_source=cnn.com&utm_campaign=editorial&utm_medium=referral -

Democratic 2020 Presidential Primary Thread
ALF replied to snafu's topic in Politics, Polls, and Pundits
I would think a moderate like Klobuchar would have the best chance in Nov. for the Democrats. If Bernie won the nomination voters might keep the Senate a republican majority to counter any extreme changes. -
I prefer adding incentives with a needed pay cut to try and motivate better play.

The timing of this announcement is strategically aligned with the team's ambitious and big-picture plans for Jacksonville and, specifically, the planned Lot J development. When completed, Phase One of the proposed $500 million Lot J project in partnership with Cordish Companies would feature an entertainment district, a 200-room hotel, residential buildings offering 405 units and additional parking. Overall, the Lot J project is designed to redefine the downtown experience and landscape while stimulating further development in the downtown and stadium area. It is also the latest, and biggest, endeavor spearheaded by the Jaguars to help Jacksonville realize its full potential. https://www.jaguars.com/news/jaguars-to-play-back-to-back-home-games-in-london-in-2020 That looks like they plan to stay for the majority of future games in Jacksonville.
