Democratic 2020 Presidential Primary Thread
ALF replied to snafu's topic in Politics, Polls, and Pundits
I don't pay close attention to where they stand. As a Independent I can't vote in primaries and NYC will decide the general election. I would be more interested on which party has the majority in the House and Senate after the Nov election. If the economy stays good I don't see how Trump could lose. -

Would Pete Buttigieg and Biden be considered more moderate of the Democrats ? -

At this point I think Klobuchar as a moderate would be the best choice . -
Diggs on the block? Rumor is a 2nd rd pick (year old thread)
ALF replied to BillsMafi$'s topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
If the Bills traded down in the 1st and received a extra 2nd rd pick to trade for Diggs that would be fine. -

Diggs on the block? Rumor is a 2nd rd pick (year old thread)

I would only offer a 3rd pick due to it being a deep draft for WR and his big contract. I would want to improve the OL in free agency as a priority. -

As President, Bernie Sanders Will Avert Climate Catastrophe and Create 20 Million Jobs Reaching 100 percent renewable energy for electricity and transportation by no later than 2030 and complete decarbonization of the economy by 2050 at latest – consistent with the United Nations Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change goals – by expanding the existing federal Power Marketing Administrations to build new solar, wind, and geothermal energy sources. https://berniesanders.com/en/issues/green-new-deal/ Not possible , phase out nuclear and natural gas plants. -

How accurate is the lie detector test? The American Polygraph Association, which sets standards for testing, says that polygraphs are "highly accurate," citing an accuracy rate above 90 percent when done properly. Critics, however, say the tests are correct only 70 percent of the time. Which federal agencies use polygraph? These include the Air Force, the Central Intelligence Agency, the Defense Intelligence Agency, the Drug Enforcement Administration, the Federal Bureau of Investigation, the National Reconnaissance Office, the National Security Agency, the Naval Criminal Investigative Service, and the Secret Service. I read it on the internet so it must be true or maybe not

"1000% False. Bold-Faced Lie. I did not, have not, and would not utter a racial slur. This is a disgusting and reckless attempt to assassinate my character," Rudolph tweeted Saturday morning. Shortly before Rudolph's tweet, Steelers coach Mike Tomlin released a statement. "I support Mason Rudolph not only because I know him, but also because I was on the field immediately following the altercation with Myles Garrett, and subsequently after the game," the statement read http://www.nfl.com/news/story/0ap3000001102170/article/steelers-tomlin-rudolph-respond-to-garretts-claim The commish should make them take a lie detector test

What did Pete Buttigieg do in the service Buttigieg served for seven months in Afghanistan as a lieutenant in the U.S. Navy Reserve, returning to the United States on September 23, 2014. While deployed, he was assigned to the Afghan Threat Finance Cell, a counterterrorism unit that targeted Taliban insurgency financing. -

EXCLUSIVE: BLOOMBERG CONSIDERS HILLARY RUNNING MATE Sources close to Bloomberg campaign tell DRUDGE REPORT that candidate is considering Hillary Clinton as running mate, after their polling found the Bloomberg-Clinton combination would be formidable force... MORE DRUDGE has learned that Bloomberg himself would go as far as to change his official residence from New York to homes he owns in Colorado or Florida, since the electoral college makes it hard for a POTUS and VPOTUS from the same state... Ravens cutting Tony Jefferson after three seasons
ALF replied to HOUSE's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
TONY JEFFERSON DB, UNSIGNED FREE AGENT Ravens released SS Tony Jefferson. Jefferson was due $11.6 million in 2020, but the Ravens will instead opt to swallow his $4.1 million in dead cap by releasing him to free agency in order to create some more cap space. Jefferson will need to prove to teams that he's healthy before signing a deal this offseason because he was placed on injured reserve in October of last season with ACL and other knee ligament damage. Jefferson will be entering his age-29 season. https://www.rotoworld.com/football/nfl/player/652/tony-jefferson -
2020 Mock Drafts & Top Prospects (2nd Annual Way Too Early)

Walterfootball mock trade 2. Miami Dolphins: Tua Tagovailoa, QB, Alabama TRADE!!! From talking to people in Miami, I've come to the conclusion that it makes far more sense for the Redskins to trade down than the Lions. Sure, they lose out on Chase Young, but picking Young was problematic anyway because that means they'll have four first-round picks on the defensive line, which would make re-signing everyone impossible. https://walterfootball.com/draft2020.php -
Dak Prescott situation turning into a Kirk Cousins standoff?
ALF replied to HOUSE's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
The free agency period for NFL players begins at 3 p.m. March 18, and the Cowboys have 25 unrestricted free agents they must evaluate. Not everyone will return — retirement, money or skill are all part of the equation. With new coach Mike McCarthy in charge, the 2020 roster will have a much different look. https://www.dallasnews.com/sports/cowboys/2020/02/14/5-cowboys-likely-to-depart-why-its-time-for-jason-witten-dallas-to-part-ways/ Will be interesting -
