  1. except tv and radio advertisers think differently…..
  2. media markets only include US population. It does not include the Canadian population. Advertisers know Buffalo is a big market. Buffalo radio and tv broadcast area includes most of Toronto- Hamilton area. You add that population…buffalo is in the same ballpark as Bay Area and DC- Baltimore innthe top 10.
  3. buffalo is not a small market…it’s a top 10 market if you factor in the southern Ontario metro area that gets buffalo stations.
  4. i coukd not tell his throwing snake and how much ooomof he had on it. 45 degree angle gets you the farthest. +/- around 45 cuts out on distance. Higher degrees will take more time and can be affected more by w8nd. in a windy day if you can do the throw at say 30 degrees you won’t be as affected from winds altering trajectory than a high ball. If you have good arm stragth you can throw far at low angles….limiting wind effects. it’s similar with golf and driving a ball. You hit a ball below tree line wind won’t factor in as much as a high arc drive where the ball got above the tree line. Jones missing the pass is more of timing of throw than arm. with all deep passes you want it ahead of your receiver because DBs are usually behind them. another factor is the safety anticipation of the throw and playing it. no analysis was done on looking off the safety or other route distractions that could have limited safety help.
  5. im a data scientist and I understand the formulas on projectile motion. distance is based on velocity and throwing angle of the projectile. Time of release also matters. i can’t tell that in the replay to say what the reason was. this doesn’t remotely say why Allen is better…it’s a piss poor argument that have big holes.
  6. This is a BS argument. Strongest arms don’t make a qb. he underthrew his WR. Had he threw it a split second earlier it might have been a TD pass where S would have not gotten to it. If he threw it at a slightly lower angle would have gotten there a split second sooner.
  7. Only the division winner makes the playoffs. The other division fees have improved but this idea that all 4 make the playoffs is absurd. they play nfc west…top to bottom a strong division. AFC south will be better. Both jacksonville and houston can be near 500 teams next season. It all depends on team confidence and how the early season schedule is. irt see AW teams go 3-3 in division. 4-4 against te two divisions with one going 5-3. Then it’s the non common games. the advantage in non common games gives to denver. Here they can go 3-0 vs others going 1-2. I think denver wins the division. the 2nd place team may or may not make the playoffs ..it depends on tiebreakers. expect to see KC vsLAC in week 18 where winning means WC spot if things go their way, but loss means out.
  8. i have an uncle thru marriage ( they are divorced now). He was a top CB in college. Played at senior bowl. Had a knee injury and his career was over. Had that happened today, he would have come back and had a career.
  9. ummmmm. Getting new contrasts doesn’t mean they stay longer…. you gives high bonus now and then release him jnn2 yrs…..
  10. Philadelphia had 3 1st this year. They’d rather have 2-2 spread over to years. flipping 19 and 18 means 25 points to NO. value of pick 16 is 1000 pts. 16 22= 1 2023 2nd 2024, 3rd this year. 2nd and 3rd make up fir the uncertainty of where next year 1st will be. the 6 for 7 flip balances it out. New Orleans lost a starting tackle in the off season they need to draft and replace which is why they wanted this yr pick.
  11. There are many combinations of trade downs. generally pure pick trades don’t happen before the draft. teams either making a deal to fill a position on their roster which can involve also pick swaps for slots they couldn’t fill in free agency. the only trades of note befire draft began have been with teams targeting a QB 1. jets colts trade opin 2018 2. Buffalo traded up with cincinati where Buffalo send them their OT ibefire 2018 draft. 3. SF trade up with Miami last year to target a QB.
  12. is one of those 3 at QB? in terms of cap framework you have a high salaried QB, a high salary WR, a high salaried blind side tackle. On Defense the 3 high pairs are a CB, LB, and DL. About 4-5 other players on each side of the ball you have mid salary vets. the rest are draft picks/ not yet to free agency players, or players on prove it contracts. Diggs is likely gone after 2022 season. Their first target is the Alabama WR
  13. what a fool billieves…..
  14. dont forget…broken pride
  15. unless you have depth at a position you coukd be trading a player and then using that pick to replace the player you traded. that’s what Minnesota did with Buffalo 1st fir Diggs…they drafted a WR when buffalo traded Peters to PHL fir their 1st they drafted an OL Outside of a pure cap space creating move, these kind of trades rarely come out as winning.
  16. its not the payment of the seat license I’m talking about. It’s the ability to keep it if you don’t buy season tickets. I don’t know what ny state has in terms of property law that could prevent the need to sell property you don’t use. im thinking grandfather buys this for grand kids who now might be 10 now. another issue is ny state inheritance laws and the longer legal process over assets. In real estate and divorce it’s a very litigious process…some of these regulations coukd be applied to these. will there be controls on who can buy these such as scalpers can’t.
  17. i have lived in the KC area KC is on the Missouri/ Kansas border. There is a KC, .mso and a KC, KS. The Missouri River is the boundary when it gives north/ south. In dientoennKC it turns east/west so south of this turn the border is a state line. I-70 crosses east west and the main beltway loop surrounds the city. on the Missouri side of 70 and beltway is where the football and baseball stadiums are sharing a lot. On the Kansas side of 70 and the beltways is the nascar racetrack, the MLS soccer stadium and a major outdoor amphitheater. A large shopping mall is near all these. Overland Park, is is where the corporate headquarters of sprint and Cerner health are systems were HQ. There are other tech jobs innthus area as well as the Kansas university medical school/ hospital are located near here. like buffalo, K.c metro area has a racial divide in the population. In buffalo generally west of Main Street is a clear racial divide other than a few pockets. in KC the racial divide is a line right around the state boundary just east in Missouri that gives thru much of the Missouri side including the stadium area. the likeky plan woukd be to put this stadium in the high income/ corporate HQ area of Overland Park area near where I-35 thst diagonally crises KC hits the beltway. This area is 20 miles away from Kansas university in Lawrence. the north side of KC is where the airport is located. Fir comparison purposes it’s equivalent of buffalo to the Niagara falls falls airport/ guard base is to buffalo. KC arena is in downtown KC is in Missouri that gives pretty unused since there is no nhl/ nba team there.
  18. this is the key in the legal spdocument… if yiu win a PSL, do you also have to buy season tickets or can you pass on it for a season. this is subject to NY stsate law
  19. i can’t tell if that’s a joke or a Erich’s question. 30 yrs is the use lease to the new stadium. what happens first…they move or i am dead?
  20. nothing new here teams have a new draftee contract they can invest in higher cost vets elsewhere. When QB is due, you can’t pay the help and have to go young. that’s why I think Buffalo goes with WR if the Alabama player falls to them with the plan of possibly not signing resigning Diggs long term.
  21. Brady isn’t stupid enough to go into the AFC arms race at QB. Wilson and Ryan go to the AFC and then other talent go from NFC to AFG
  22. Tpdoes the Bills store sell pooper scoopers? Untrained dogs dammit….
  23. I lived 10 years in the Seattle market. He was regularly on espn radio station in the morning and he had a sat am call in show that was on when there wasn’t a conflict with mariners games.
  24. Trade down unless a player drops from the top 10.
