  1. But we did when referring to our division. We went 11-1, so what are you talking about?
  2. Disagree. Based on record, Dolphins and Patriots have been on par with Chargers and Raiders. Jets were weaker than Broncos, sure I guess. Not to mention we nearly swept the division 11-1 in those two years, so not sure how we didn't take advantage of the cake walk. I think 12-0 is a bit much to ask for....but mother nature is a son of a B I guess?
  3. Yeah the Vikings game 🤬 Curse has to end eventually though and Patriots stadium vs the Bills is her next stop. She is also a Chiefs fan.... All in good fun though.
  4. I think your version of constructive criticism is far different than what is actually happening. Literal polls on if we should hire Sean Payton 😂
  5. If you want Payton, be prepared to miss the playoffs 40% of the time at least with Drew Brees as his QB all of those years. With a much smaller sample size, McDermott misses the playoffs 20% of the time with the one and only time being Josh Allen's rookie year. You guys drool over Payton but if McDermott had his record, you'd kick him out the door.
  6. I don't know man. I saw Jackson on the back of a jersey way too many times after big plays. Some were his fault, some were just good plays, some weren't his fault but they were surely picking on him for a reason.
  7. Can this thread just be merged into the GameDay thread? These stupid random hot takes aren't any different than a game day thread comment and aren't deserving of their own thread. I actually believe OP thought we were going to lose and posted this to got the hot "fire everyone thread" for... I don't know... Emoji points? Edit: the person's handle is actually "behind enemy lines" too... I mean come on. It's a troll.
  8. Yeah I was thinking this as well. Given Dane Jackson getting burned every play, it was a big potential to be game winning drive for them. The missed xp made them slow down for a tie instead.
  9. Curious who you think the tigers are?😃
  10. Maybe its been mentioned in this thread but does Crowder come back from broken ankle at all? Eh its usually Kelce and usually because he engages a defender, then pushes the defender off of him and runs free. Either DPI or wide open every time.
  11. Its like all the bandwagon fans were like "Superbowl? I'm in!" and then we play against competitive teams in the competitive NFL and they are like "this ***** is lame, I'm out" and trash the team lmao. Gabe Davis has just as good of a stat line as the WR corp the OP is swooning over.... 29 catches 612 yards 5 tds - Davis 46 catches 615 yards 2 tds - Smith-Schuster 27 catches 459 yards 1 td - Valdez-Scantling He does need to stop dropping the ball but sheesh what a bad take.
  12. Toney is apparently injured again too. If it were sammy they'd be calling him glass. The defense did stop them. On the goal line right before regulation. Then Josh fumbled. The defense then stopped them on the goal line in OT to prevent the go ahead TD. Josh threw the game losing pick. Ideally they should have stopped them well short of the goal line for sure, but down 4 starters they did their job. Josh would be the first person to admit that the fumble and pick gave the game away.
  13. I am pretty sure Gilliam missed a big block earlier in the game too. Can't remember but I think it was a end around run along the right side and remember asking who just let the defender slide off of him and make the tackle and everyone around said it was Gilliam.
  14. Here's to hoping he retires soon. 34 next year and pretty sure he is the oldest active tight end.
  15. Dude they literally could not practice practically all week because of illness plus the snow. The "prepared" narrative should be the opposite direction given the adversity they faced this week. They still came to play and they still won. I have this conversation with my wife every single week. If the Bills aren't annihilating an opponent, then they are "garbage and suck" apparently. It is just a certain type of fan that can't accept that the NFL can be competitive. It is the reason the NFL is so engaging.
  16. All 3 of our losses are like that this year. Josh doesn't dirt that ball against Miami for the go ahead TD. Gabe Davis catches that 60 yard money pass at the end of the Jets game to put us in Field goal range at least (or maybe just not throw picks). Josh doesn't fumble on the goal line against the Vikings. Would've, could've, should've on all 3 of those. Now we have to rely on a couple teams to beat the chiefs. I do want us to at least get #2 seed though. Put us up against Kansas City at the last possible moment. Make some other team eliminate them like the Chargers or Bengals.
  17. He didn't look good against us though. 154 yards 1 td. We were heading towards a blowout until Josh threw the 2 picks and kept them in the game. Then the Jets had that long drive which was the run more than anything. Wilson just had to not screw it up for them which was about all he did that game. This also sounds eerily familiar to the meltdown our fanbase has after losses. Just saying.
  18. Benford is a backup and a rookie. Elam is the starter and is also a rookie. Either way, If White, Poyer, Hyde, or Edmunds are in on that play, Cook does not run 81 yards. Christian BenfordCB,DB 280 47.70% 2022 game-by-game snap counts Kaiir ElamCB,DB 369 62.86% 2022 game-by-game snap counts
  19. Kelce does it every play and its infuriating. He engages a defender and then pushes off to disengage and somehow its defensive holding.
  20. The good news is that since the browns scored late and made it a one score game, this goes to the vaunted "1 score game" credit for McDermott! So glad we allowed it to be one score so his record could improve there /s. 😂😂
  21. Can't stop the run? True we couldn't stop the run against the Jets when it mattered for sure. But I don't understand the bad against the run narrative. Dalvin Cook had 13 carries for 38 yards if it weren't for that 81 yard td run when our rookie back up player (Benford) missed the tackle and our other backup player (Lewis) failed to contain. Sure, it still counts but we were in no way bad against the run. Packers? We didn't give a crap that they were running the ball as they were down 3 scores. Browns? Chubb who some say is the best RB in the league had 14 carries for 19 yards. Titans? Derrick Henry or "King" Henry 13 carries 25 yards. The silly narratives have to stop.
  22. Yeah they both didn't play against the Vikings, so I assume so. I looked it up, Elam was injured in the 3rd quarter. Rousseau was injured after "13" snaps whenever that was.
  23. Think its Josh not wanting to take risks. Trying to build his confidence back. He got more comfortable as the game went on.
  24. Weren't Rousseau and Elam hurt that game?
