  1. I think people just need to take a break and breathe.
  2. https://twitter.com/viccarucci/status/658748461794373632 Vic Carucci ‏@viccarucci 2m2 minutes ago According to a #Bills source, the report that low batteries caused problems w coach-to-QB communication system is false. 3. In my opinion there is a huge difference between what was not called, that should have been, and what was called but should not have been. Everyone is looking for consistency, but the officials should not be affecting the game as much as they are with no course for correcting flags thrown in error.
  4. So the only reason you would buy a jersey or season tickets is if we were guaranteed in your realist view that there was a very large chance we were going to the super bowl? To each their own, but I have season tickets to go support my team, and enjoy the game of football. Not because I have some sense of winning as an inevitability. You can have perspective and still hold out hope too. For example I think they still have a shot for the playoffs. Is this some Disney related fantasy? No. It is based on likely getting Watkins, Tyrod, Karlos, Miller, and Henderson back. Maybe Harvin, unless he decided to take more games off contemplating retirement. It is based on the defense making 4 goal line stops in a row, then proceeding to force three 3 and outs, then a pick six, then what would have been another stop had it not been for official interference. We lost but our team showed a lot coming back from this deficit. I firmly believe had it not been for EJ's 3 turnovers, we would have easily won this game. So being the realist that I am, I am objectively looking at how the team performed despite the loss rather than looking at the team through the looking glass of a loss.
  5. It's rare that they overrule each other. But I am saying it should have been reviewable. If no other officials were around the play, which in looking at the All-22 it seemed there weren't then upstairs should have called down and said, you messed up, pick up that flag. If they don't want upstairs officials constantly overruling downstairs officials then get better on field officials. But seriously, if they don't want that, then institute challenging penalties into your 2 challenges for the game. Obviously don't allow challenging to get a penalty flag thrown, but they need to allow for some corrective ability for these terrible calls. They can still make their judgement calls in these situations.
  6. The problem is that these plays aren't reviewed. So they controlled the outcome of the game. Everyone can talk about them being judgement call and they can't question judgement calls but at the end of the day, they should've been able to get together and talk and ask if that was actually PI. Or at least the people upstairs watching call down on it. They can still make their "judgement" calls but all I am asking is not to be screwed on the blatant miscalls.
  7. Yeah that's what people said last year after we lost to the chiefs and dolphins. And we were competitive in the playoff hunt in the end. Everyone abandons the season too early. It is almost as if we are in a rush to declare the season lost. First person gets a prize! Part of the experience is living through each win and loss. We were never guaranteed a playoff spot. We will be healthy off of the BYE week and we will see what happens then, because that is the only way to actually know - to actually play the games. Case in point I am sure most of you abandoned any chance of us winning the game today after they were up 27-3. It certainly felt that way. But that is why you play all 4 quarters and all 16 games.
  8. The defense can't win this week. They do excellent and "it was the jags", or they give up any number of points and they "failed to stop the jags. " I'd look for smashing the Dolphins and Jets in the mouth after the bye week to shut people up. And then Tom Brady will start the trend all over again.
  9. It has been a constant criticism of Rex, not in this thread though. Along the lines of "the players taking on the boisterous, over the top, and uncontrolled demeanor of the coach"
  10. ....We were 3-3 at this point last year as well. Have some hope man. Generally, I also want to point this out about penalties: http://www.syracuse.com/buffalo-bills/index.ssf/2014/10/penalties_issue_hurt_buffalo_bills.html But it is totally Rex's coaching that's the culprit . Maybe he can change things up to make us better on this as part of his coaching, but I am tired of him being named the cause.
  11. Our defense does not have a good day because of a crappy QB. The QB has a crappy day because of our defense. That distinction matters. Middle of the pack offenses are not guaranteed shutdowns for defenses. Such as the Browns putting up 23 points on the Broncos. The Eagles putting up 24 points on the Jets, and the Rams putting up 34 on the Seahawks. (All worse than their points per game average) I am not sure how much more plain it can get than that.
  12. Sorry but in the mountain of BS after the loss to the Bengal's the criticism pretty much blends together. The fact that you can't see that the defense has done pretty dang good against multiple opponents lumps you in with those people. That isn't to say there isn't work to be done, and adjustments to be made.
  13. It isn't about removing them. It is about acknowledging that there is work to be done there, but realizing the defense has done pretty good against most teams. Rex needs to make adjustments, but it's not the heaping wreck that you are all in a tizzy about with a number of ridiculous threads such as firing rex, tanking the season, etc. Not to mention you argue Colts, who haven't played with Luck in a few games.
  14. I disagree. We have to start somewhere and getting to the playoffs and breaking this losing mentality you all have is huge.
  15. The Bills have allowed 65 points to 4 of our opponents and 74 to the remaining 2 who happen to have the number 2 and 3 ranked offenses so far this year. Should we have done more to stop them? Yes, absolutely. We certainly need to get our sack numbers up, and create turnovers, and do better against top offenses, but you have to take the rankings with a grain of salt at this point because we are a bit skewed at the moment.
  16. Why do people insist on the Dolphins beating the Titans to mean something? Each game is it's own match up. Our match up showed a healthy Bills team dominating the Dolphins. I guess that's just a "fluke" and not intellectual dishonesty. I think the real problem is that Bills fans are imploding. Criticism is great, but we have been over the top this week.
  17. Because the Dolphins beat the Titans? Every game is it's own match up. Give me a break. We will just forget that we dominated the Dolphins. Watch out! They are good now!
  18. The Eagles won last night with 27 because they created opportunities with 3 ints (including a pick 6), 1 fumble and 4 sacks (2 forced intentional groundings) Meanwhile, Bradford gave up 3 ints, and Matthews lost 1 fumble (out of 3 team fumbles). And yet the Eagles still held them to 7 points. The Giants offense isn't the Bengals offense, but the Eagles defense isn't the Bills defense either. We can do better. We should be doing better. Special teams coverage was also awful which isn't on the offense either. That said, the offense needs to get healthy so they can be better as well. It's a team effort.
  19. http://www.si.com/nfl/2015/10/18/marcus-mariota-knee-injury-titans-update-mri http://www.cbssports.com/nfl/draft/nfl-draft-scout/24993415/nfl-draft-injury-could-keep-mariota-from-throwing-at-combine http://www.foxsports.com/nfl/story/tennessee-titans-marcus-mariota-limit-number-of-hits-092215 ouch. 3 injuries in less than a year. I bet the Titans fans are calling him a bust and "injury prone". No, that'd just be silly
  20. Don't feed the trolls. 70,000 fans were chanting Sammy after he scored the touchdown yesterday. These people just want to bring everyone else down.
  21. I wonder if the Steeler's fans are tired of his mediocre performances. He should just be getting it done. Ok this isn't a unique thing to Bills fan's I guess. http://thesteelersfans.com/forums/threads/could-martavis-be-better-than-ab.12674/ "Could Martavis be better than Antonio Brown?" and the response :
  22. At least you are getting it.....did you really include Cutler in that? wtf.
  23. This place is imploding. We got blown out by two undefeated teams. Yes we struggled against the Giants, but that was by no means "a blowout". The Giants and Titans games our defense stepped up, and our offense faltered, likely because 50% of it was injured (I know, I know, no one wants to hear the injury excuse, but deal with it, it's reality). We have to get our offense back healthy, and make some major adjustments on defense, but you guys go ahead and renounce your fandom. Whatever that means. I assume it means turning into the people who make sarcastic remarks regarding anything related to the Bills?
