  1. That's why I thought it was worth posting at this point because people are just generating their own scenarios and going "That's plausible, he must be innocent". It is embarrassing. Meanwhile this whole string of coincidences just keeps getting longer and longer for Brady haha.
  2. http://www.wired.com/2015/07/even-tom-brady-smash-phone-itd-make-zero-sense/ Wow, the extent that people will go to defend him. For one the NFL does not have access to Brady's "Google Hangouts" and for two, that texting app is not automatic like they assume. I have a Samsung phone, and it automatically starts with the Verizon messaging app which I promptly changed out for Textra. No sign of Google Hangouts for me.
  3. I love the responses. "Oh, ok Tom, it was a little suspicious that you needed to destroy your phone that was the subject of an investigation about the day you were to be investigated, but now that you told us that you had no intention of providing it to investigators in the first place, it makes perfect sense, and is 100% ok in my book!"
  4. Haven't decided to change it or not now that Tuel is gone. I use it for my fantasy teams too. Great video though! Loved the deflate comment! Also they touched on a lot of the great things our defense accomplished especially shutting down Aaron Rodgers and Peyton Manning. Can't wait for September!
  5. Am I just being an idiot? I don't see it there. Last I see is Bills 2013.
  6. Ah Good point. Thanks! I read that too, but must have glossed over it since it didn't say Steelers in the sentence, haha.
  7. I haven't seen anything about this in this thread even though it is NY and happening by 2021. http://www.syracuse.com/state/index.ssf/2015/07/new_york_raises_its_fast-food_wage_to_15_an_hour.html http://www.nytimes.com/2015/07/23/nyregion/new-york-minimum-wage-fast-food-workers.html?_r=0 They even pulled a Grandmother out there to tell her story of forced labor:
  8. That's what I thought. I can't make the game as I will be on a fishing trip, so if anyone is interested in purchasing them from me, let me know. I've got 4 tickets, best offer, but I realize it's preseason and I won't get much. Might be fun for someone to take a family to.
  9. That would have been awesome haha. Does anyone know which preseason game is the Kid's day game this year? Or if there even is one? I can't find anything on it.
  10. Anyone see or post this stuff yet? First I've seen it today. http://www.cbssports.com/nfl/eye-on-football/25248075/report-influential-owners-want-tom-brady-suspension-kept-at-4-games http://www.csnne.com/new-england-patriots/pft-small-group-owners-want-bradys-ban-stand NFLPA and Brady trying to pay their way out. NFL seems to have rejected it.
  11. They already have the core fans. They want to expand and to do that they have the above to attract the people that wouldn't normally care about it. If you start with one fan who is interested in watching the sport of football, then as long as they play football, they have that fan. They want to get that fan's wife involved. And kids. And neighbor. This may annoy the original fan, because they are in it for the core game, but to expand the NFL tries to diversify its product. The result is sometimes god awful, and sometimes decent.
  12. Unfortunately I have to work that Monday night and then will be on vacation for the first 3. But I plan on going to at least one of the Browns scrimmages and then probably the last one. I am also looking for some good Veteran TBD information on this. I got a autographed Sammy Watkins Jersey for Christmas and would love to get him to sign a card for me to frame it with.
  13. Just got them in the mail. Guess I thought I heard "e-mail" when he said "mail".
  14. I guess this gets placed in the negative thread? Dolphins Super Bowl? http://www.nfl.com/news/story/0ap3000000503110/article/harvard-students-model-picks-dolphins-seahawks
  15. I figured that. He was kind of on a down year though despite winning the Super Bowl. I think this is a myth. Good QB's tend to make good WR's elite. Passing attempts also help. I think the reason WR's aren't standing out in Seattle is likely because Wilson throws 150-200 passes less a year than most of the top 10 QB's. I think the perfect example of this is Golden Tate going from a middling WR in Seattle to a stand out WR in Detroit while Calvin Johnson was gimped. 1,331 yards on 142 targets for Tate in Detroit in 2014 898 yards on 98 targets in Seattle in 2013
  16. I know this is either trolling or a never ending circular argument, but it is absurd if you really believe that retaining a player/coach/staff member who did something wrong somehow devalues our ethics. Explain why? Penalize him? Sure. That's what the courts would do, and probably the NFL if we kept him. Disavowing the guy, and pretending he didn't work for us because we are a pristine organization full of people who do no wrong is so far fetched though. The guy is neither the devil or a psycho, he obviously had some issue with these kids, and something went wrong. Tempers were heated and people were likely arguing. Saying he is "ok" with going around punching children in the face, is simply ridiculous. God forbid you ever make a mistake and people call for your head. I am sure you will gladly never work again as not to tarnish any organization with your presence.
  17. Playoff performance. Specifically the Packers game. Cue the excuses.
  18. Although Tom Brady is a good QB , there were 7 other QB's ahead of Tom in that category who did better even with Wilson's rushing yardage included.
  19. It may have been fluff, but it stings a little reading about players really liking how he coached and the great things he was doing. It takes away some of the hope that our O line will look halfway decent this year. I really hope they just put it out there and say "We are putting Kromer on a probationary period. If he gets into any further trouble with the law then we will terminate his contract". I think that is reasonable. I am fairly confident he isn't some raging psycho who goes around punching random people, and he is at a minimal risk of doing something like this again.
  20. First I hear kids will be making $15 dollars an hour for working in fast food in NY, and now I hear they are going to be getting our o line coach fired overreacting because they couldn't keep their mitts off of what doesn't belong to them. Not a fan of kids today.
  21. Just saw this. Initially I thought, maybe good news since its prior to court? Then on second thought, maybe they are just trying to move on before training camp. Either way, I hope they did a thorough investigation, and figured things out.
  22. This is a tough one. His interceptions have been consistently high the last couple years. I could very easily see us canning him after 3 years of losing citing turnovers as the reason we aren't a playoff team. On the other hand, our team is so talented maybe we could overcome it? Nice to dream that the QB situation could be solved so easily, but either Manuel/Tyrod step up, or back to the draft I think.
  23. Very good points. Sometimes I fall into the theory that Well's had all of Jastremski and McNally's text and therefore any to Brady. However if Well's didn't disclose what he had from the two equipment guys, then that would be a very good reason for Brady to not comply because it may indict himself.
  24. I understand this, but rather than having to go out and get tickets from where ever they are giving them out, I had called the front office and they said they would e-mail them to me. I guess I'll just call them
