I came here looking for the same thing. Weather says 77% precipitation and thunderstorms. Is there a place that I can check that they will announce if its canceled? I also have a 1 and a half drive. Edit: My brother just told me the storm system will hit and be gone before 6pm. What are the odds they play on a rained on field though? I have a feeling they will close it and move indoors.

That's how I am reading it. I think I will be opting in.

Led the team in first downs last year. Might as well change out the entirety of the offense then too. Could this be what's going on with McCoy's toe issue?

Brady 4 game suspension upheld; Will go to court
What a Tuel replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
More like your friend who wouldn't ever go to a strip club, texting about strip clubs, and you in the same conversation, and her seeing it on a friends phone. Then her seeing your friend driving your car on camera, going to the strip club. You subsequently destroy your phone before she can look at your phone to validate your friends didn't text you about the strip club. Then she also finds out that you took out $500 singles and spread them amongst your friends. Then you tell her, I will never hang out with those guys again, don't worry. When she asks why, you say no reason, they are perfectly good guys. All of that with a eating grin on your face, and a overall attitude that this is all a big joke. Overbearing wife? Replace strip club with hooker party. -
Brady 4 game suspension upheld; Will go to court

This is it exactly. It strikes me as ridiculous that every single reason can be explained away as coincidence, flawed science, or misinterpretations, and people are ok with that. Anyone know the odds of ten 1% chance variables all occurring? Not bloody likely, that's what. -
Let's talk Colts opener matchups

I think limiting Aaron Rodgers, and Peyton Manning to 358 yards 0 tds and 4 ints combined should make us (edit: us meaning fans, the team shouldn't assume anything) have a little well deserved cautious optimism about facing Luck. He also turns the ball over four times as much as Aaron Rodgers -

This is very ridiculous, and not similar at all. If McNally pulled out a pin in front of the officials and started to deflate the footballs after they had checked them, right in front of them, and started deflating the balls to Brady's preferred PSI, the officials would have confronted him, and this certainly wouldn't be what it is. They did far worse in the way they did it, and they did it with Brady's ok. This is leagues different than those situations in which equipment people did things in blatent view of everyone, unknowingly doing it seemingly unaware it was against the rules. (They are allowed to use hand warmers to warm the balls) Also, I am reading that the stick em san diego thing wasn't technically against the rules, but they fined them and said it is frowned upon, the Chargers appealed, and it was reversed. Also it seems as though there was a decent outrage by the Charger fan base to fire everyone involved. Very "not on my team"esque http://www.nfl.com/news/story/0ap1000000091683/article/san-diego-chargers-fined-20k-by-nfl-in-towel-case -

In all of his busy daily activities as a famous NFL QB, he simply can't be bothered to remember who he tells how he likes his footballs, or that he even likes his footballs any specific way. Sounds a lot like this: -
LeSean McCoy from a fantasy perspective

I think he is a great pick too, but they are projecting him at 15. I guess that's fair though. Edit: On second thought, he will probably be snatched up too quickly for me. The hype train for him is too much I think. -
LeSean McCoy from a fantasy perspective

Yeah, I can see that. I love getting the late round pick. Picking 12 and 13 (or 11 and 14) is loads better than picking 1 and 24 in my opinion. I'd be happy grabbing a superstar WR first and McCoy second. What do you guys think about Odell? I was able to pick him up in all 3 leagues and made it to 2 championships last year but only won one, but with Victor Cruz on his way back, I am not sure he will get the same production. -
The bolded is the problem people have. We should probably wait until he is in his 30's and putting up the same or better stats before we project his success and crown him. The rest is excuses. As I have said before, the Seahawk's had Golden Tate, and let him go. He went from being an 900 yard WR under Wilson to 1300 yard WR under Stafford with Calvin Johnson hobbled all last year. We will see how Jimmy Graham's production goes.

There is no egg on anyone's face. Today QB's are very hard to find and there are about a dozen or more teams that aren't set at the position. This artificial inflation of the value of the QB is a completely different argument than whether or not he is one of the top 5 or so QB's in the league. Until people stop bouncing back and forth between those arguments, there will always be confusion and conflicting arguments. He is a good QB, so he will get signed to a large contract period. Just as people were saying he is 10-12 qb, there were people also saying he was second only to Rodgers, which to me is also ridiculous.

LeSean McCoy from a fantasy perspective
What a Tuel replied to Wazzu Bill's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
This has me hesitate as well. I know people who were pretty upset when they kept puting Polk and Sproles in the red zone. I also think he is a solid option, but if I was at 10-12 and if he is still available then I'd snatch him up, but if you were unlucky enough to get a high spot this year and have the intention of grabbing McCoy, he can be had for less, I think. A lot of people are skiddish about our offense as a whole rather than him as a player himself, and with our QB situation, they may have some valid points. -
Do we call to get the token for the free NFL Rewind? Or is it included in an e-mail or packaging and I missed it? 1st time season ticket holder

You brought up stats or were inquiring about them. I was simply explaining why including his rushing stats do not make a difference. It really has nothing to do with fantasy football. Wilson generated 270 yards of offense per game last year and 1.6 touchdowns and .75 turnovers per game. Roethlisberger generated 311 yards of offense per game last year 2 touchdowns and .87 turnovers per game. Those aren't fantasy football stats. They are unbiased stats based on the production on QBs. Maybe it isn't his fault that he isn't "needed" as much because of the great defense, but facts are that his production on the field doesn't touch the top 5 qbs.

Are you seriously claiming McCoy is league average? and saying you don't need hyperbole to make your argument? Give me a break. -

I almost had a heart attack from the shoutbox. Geez. Just goes to show the level of intensity this season has on it. -
Because if you combine his rushing yards/tds with his passing stats/tds he still doesn't crack the top 7 QB's statistically. Including his rushing stats also puts him on equal footing with other QB's in terms of attempts. So nearing an equal number of attempts he not only rushes/passes for less, but scores less tds than 7 other qbs.

This right here is why most of them don't deserve to be reporting. It is an annoying trend across the league. Nothing sells better than controversy, so they would much rather talk about that than anything relevant to the game of football. On another note this comment below the article nails it. "BREAKING: Young millionaire prefers company of attractive women. Fails to understand how this offends old dude's life code. Old dude whimpers 'get off my lawn.'" -

But he was only the 3rd best running back in the league last year. He must be in decline because he was #1 the year before! That is a decline of 2 whole spots! He's got maybe half a year left on him. -

Obviously Tom Brady only gets his phones from Indonesia, and coincidentally Apple released there in February which is later than most places. Why are you hate'n?
