  1. I want to lock the boards until kickoff. a quiet period where i don't see another EJ vs...
  2. The WRs talent being rendered moot because of our playcalling and E.....J
  3. i'm not putting the jinx on anyone. but, knowing the Bills, just think crazy worst case scenario. i think EJ down 2nd series. Orton in and after EJ getting healthy in 2-3 weeks, we stay with Orton. So my HOT BOLD TAKE is 15 games. OVER.
  4. "EJ's performance this Sunday will shape the way we look at quarterbacks for the next 75 years"
  5. i moved to charlotte and i view the panthers as a novelty. it's fun to go to a game that doesn't overlap a Bills game, but I dont root for them. they usually have at least 1-2 prime time games a year, so that's exciting being right downtown. I was a fan last year though when the Pats came here, I think everyone was. but yeah, i'll never root for them unless the game they're playing has implications for the Bills.

  7. "and it's another Bills four and out"
  8. This is where we're at. I mean i've weathered some preseason TBD storms in the past. I've read some threads that made me not come back until opening day, but we are at defcon 1 (1 is the worst, contrary to belief).
  9. I would take Colt McCoy right now. He's had a good preseason. 4tds 3ints roughly 400 yards in three games of limited time.
  10. One series? What is the point of that? You honestly play EJ the entire first half again. You have to.
  11. Again, as has been discussed in this thread already, play to your players strengths. If you notice that your QB is playing "piss poor," maybe don't make him throw almost 30 times a game: http://espn.go.com/nfl/player/gamelog/_/id/15803/ej-manuel
  12. I know me neither. The offense is such a dynamic powerhouse and were using all of our weapons to their full potential. We're unpredictable and our option schemes are real head scratchers for opposing defenses. The man has been flawless thus far. He's only in his 30s but he already has the mind of a young Lombardi.
  13. It's interesting to see outside perspective of our Bills. Even if sometimes they don't know what the hell they're talking about http://www.dabears.com/threads/on-a-more-positive-note-how-do-we-match-up-against-the-upcoming-bills.4547/
  14. There really is no point in this move. So you bring in what could be considered another camp arm. You pick his brain a bit about Chicago's offense, and then what? He's another voice in the cacophony of people steering EJ for better or worse? EJ goes down with an injury and he steps in and does what exactly? The same thing Tuel could do, which is running an offense at about a C-.
  15. statistically speaking, do you think there is a QB in that bunch who randomly fits perfectly into our scheme? As in, no one would ever consider that person, but put into our scheme, he would be dominate? these are the things i think about. Tom Brady did this to me.
  16. Coincidentally, "unfortunate series of events that isn't likely to repeat" has been our rationale for 15 years.
  17. Colby Way is dragging down our ability to procure an ELITE quarterback
