  1. i dont feel like i'm ready for the season until i've weathered at least 35 doomsday threads.
  2. "Still, the Raiders can leave as soon as after the coming season, thanks to a one-year lease at the Coliseum. Did not know this. How easy would that move be? Instead of, say, uprooting a WNY team.
  3. Per TMQB: Buffalo Bills: "Working on this book, yours truly was on the Virginia Tech sideline in 2011 as Sammy Watkins twice destroyed a stacked Hokies secondary that boasted Kyle Fuller, also taken in Thursday's first round; Jayron Hosley, a 2012 third-round pick; and Antone Exum, a sixth-round selection last weekend. Half a dozen times Watkins did things that made me say, "Wow." Virginia Tech defensive coordinator Bud Foster shook his head and said, "Wow is an understatement." Watkins was the special talent of the 2014 draft. He has as much upside as Jadeveon Clowney, but less downside. The last time the Bills made a king's-ransom trade, for Cornelius Bennett in 1987, the arrival of "Biscuit" changed a group of talented underachievers into contenders. Watkins might do the same for the current Bills. To flip 2014 positions with the Browns, Buffalo surrendered only 2015 draft choices. The current front office knows the team will be sold soon, and if Buffalo fails to break its playoff drought, everyone who doesn't wear cleats will be fired. So there's no point in saving for the future. Either Buffalo makes the playoffs this season and all is well, or a new management team inherits a mess with future picks already spent."
  4. There's a company called boxman that does even larger scale ones. http://boxmanstudios.com/
  5. Heeeerrrree we go. Let's draft Maziel, and by November we'll have a "Is Manziel just not NFL ready?" thread. and a "Should we draft a QB 1st or 2nd rd of the 2015 draft?" thread.
  6. I'm just going to come out and say it, I don't want that smarmy bastard on my team. He needs to be punched in the mouth, and I'd rather not have to sit here 4 months out of the year defending him because he's on our team.
  7. As much as I'd like to blame the Bills' FO on this, I feel like Byrd had all of the leverage and put us in a position to either overpay or let him walk. I know there are a lot of armchair GMs on this board, but honestly, if you understood the extent of what was being asked vs return, you wouldn't have a better plan either.
  8. I hope he sees his day in court, because honestly it would be a gem.
  9. Colts-Both of these teams are streaky and can lay an egg. KC is a benefactor of an easy schedule, and I'm giving it to the home team here. Saints-I know Philly is hot, but the Saints will win. If it's raining/snowing, I might give it to Philly. Bengals-The Chargers fell ass backwards into the playoffs barely beating the KC back-ups. Packers-Rodgers is back, he looked solid vs the Bears for having not played in a while. Lambeau is going to be rocking.
  10. Buffalo has a penchant for these type of things. They'll finally draft a solid, pass-catching, run-blocking TE and he'll be everything we've ever wanted, but we'll be missing a ton of other pieces for him to ever be effective. It seems like we've had great players on this team, but they all come and go at different times and we never hit a sweet spot with enough key role players in position to make a run. We retire/trade so many guys who never saw a playoff game or wasted their best years with this organization as we go through a decade rebuilding. Guys who, on almost any other team, are a major impact for their organization. Here they just peter out silently.
  11. "Buffalo Bills: A ponzi scheme since 1998"
  12. Why is this list bad? I think the middle chart (accuracy on deep balls) tells the whole story. Look at those QBs. And brady's not up there before he's not having the best year (stats wise).
  13. are they considering the YPA to include YAC? so, say he throws a 5 yard screen and it goes for 30 yards, is that a deep pass too?
  14. Interesting charts: http://regressing.deadspin.com/charts-who-are-the-best-deep-passers-in-the-nfl-1469917039/@kylenw
  15. hahahahahahahahhahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha, the delusion is so delicious up in here.
  16. That is the first thing i noticed too hahhaa. Along with the 'he will rock you', it really takes it in a whole different direction.
  17. You can beat the Buffalo News paywall. While the page is loading just stop the loading once the article appears, and the paywall blocker wont show because it loads last.
  18. http://i.imgur.com/LOIyB4o.gif THERE WAS A FIREFIGHTTTT!!!! TUELLLLL, FLLYNNNNN, THADDDDDDD. WHO CARES IT'S A LOSS VS AN 8-0 TEAM!
  19. I wish i could put together a line graph of optimism this past week for this Saints game. It's now at full tilt. Monday was like the Saints are really good, hopefully we can split the next two of four games and make the end of the season competitive. Tuesday was like did you see the Saints might not have Jimmy G in the lineup. Wednesday was like what IF we win on Sunday?! Thursday was all the Saints wins so far are unimpressive. and Friday was We're undefeated in the Superdome, just sayin. We went from assuming a loss on Monday to probably/most likely upsetting the Saints by Friday. And what really changed? Jimmy G is probably starting now and CJ isn't. Our prognosis shouldve gotten worse, and the upset cheers are just getting louder. Which means there will be people on the boards tomorrow at 5PM way more severely disappointed and angry than there should be when playing a 5-1 team. Go Bills.
  20. The back-to-back divisional wins are pretty big, regardless of records they're always close (as the actual scores show). I don't take much stock in the cards The fins (who we just beat with a last second fg), lost to the saints by 21 in NO! So that doesn't bode well. The Bears on the road was a solid win as well. And the pats needed last second heroics to beat them.
  21. Couldn't be worse than mine a few years back.
  22. Only three more wins? I mean Jax, Pitt, jets/miami(one win there), tampa, falcons. I can find 4 wins in there.
  23. I feel like he has no real friends on the team
  24. I mean teams usually run between 60-70 plays a game. The fact that they can't stop 3-4 gashes a game is pretty relative.
