  1. Did you skim over the first sentence of, "it wasn't the nearly-flawless performance that he opened up last week's joint practice with." That quote was a two parter, A. he was killing this past week in practice and B. he was locked in on the 7-on-7s. This is to make the a counterpoint that somehow the Pats have lost a step. And by the way, EJ has lit it up during 7 on 7s and this board needs 3 threads to discuss it. So stop acting like I'm being unreasonable.
  2. where would i rather be than at TBD arguing with a meat loaf sandwich.
  3. Are we really arguing about the Pats/Bills? Seriously? A team that we've beaten TWICE in 12 years? I don't have to quote Brady's practice sessions ( I can't believe I'm even being forced to defend him, ugh). I could just pull up the head-to-head results since 2001. And since that time we've had a few coaches and QBs. And a coach/players "not knowing how to play 4 quarters" is retard speak. These players and coaches grow up with the game. They're well acquainted with playing "four quarters" with their "game faces" on. Some people just can't compete at the highest level.
  4. Haha, I hate the Patriots. I just know better than to underestimate them. The last time we beat the Pats at Foxboro was '00--Flutie was QB. They trounced us at home (a game I FLEW HOME FOR) 52-28. I'm just being a realist, as the OP is being dismissive.
  5. Here's a good one from two days ago: It wasn't the nearly-flawless performance that he opened up last week's joint practice with, but quarterback Tom Brady was locked in for much of Tuesday's practice, including a hot early stretch during 7-on-7 drills. The highlight of the opening 7-on-7 period was a laser to Danny Amendola on a throw that threaded between a safety and cornerback up the seam. Early in the practice, the Buccaneers secondary provided little resistance to Brady & Co., but they eventually tightened things up.
  6. Yeah some how Bills fans have amnesia every year. The Patriots will always be extremely competitive. Go read the camp notes on the Pats over at ESPN's AFC East blog. They're doing JUST fine. And honestly, Miami will come to play. The Jets are obviously very disjointed and who knows what their final product will look like, but don't sleep on the Pats/Fins.
  7. oh, you've noted my interest in the Bills, but also felt it necessary to attach the schedule FOR MY REVIEW. Form letters are impersonal and dumb.
  8. I was recently at a bar and met a kid who kicked for VT. The Bills called him up to kick in camp maybe...three years ago? I can't remember. Anyway, when he flew up they told him that Lindell was keeping the kicking job, we brought you here to keep him on his toes. He was paid a "sign-on bonus" of $1,000.
  9. I'm not sure if you're be sarcastic. But if you're not, a soccer goalie isn't in full pads, nor does he have to angle his punts or have a decent hang-time, nor does he have to keep his goal kicks in bounds, nor does he have to kick the ball through goal posts.
  10. If that was the case, the community would have been deprived of my 2012 "accuscore has us going to the playoffs" thread. http://forums.twobillsdrive.com/topic/148982-accuscore-has-bills-going-to-playoffs/
  11. I'm in the camp of giving EJ starting reps, but by no means has Kolb somehow EARNED second-team reps. Seriously. He's flat out sucked. If Tuel can take the second spot, which I know is a long shot, then so be it. But we'd be a laughing stock as a team if our first round pick loses out to an undrafted rookie in camp.
  12. Exactly. And I want to keep them all somehow. Well, at least the top 6. stevie, goodwin, graham, woods, da'rick, and easley
  13. I'm sorry if this is a dumb question, but can you have more than five WRs on a roster? I realize you might be able to have a KR/PR guy sub in. Just wondering if there is an instance of a team carrying 5+ WRs
  14. Okay so remove that statement. I'll just say, "we have rookies on our current roster that are going to contribute significantly (maybe even starting QB) to this '13-'14 team. The question I'm asking is still the same.
  15. Delete this if it has been covered. We have many outstanding rookies coming into camp and, for the most part, many of them will play majors roles within the O and D. The catch is that these rookies are going to be forced to have A LOT of preseason playing time (EJ, Kiko, Woods, Goodwin, etc) to learn the system, get in sync with each other and get used to the speed of the game. I'm curious to know how you mitigate injuries/wearing out your potential starters who are going to have to have significant playing time in 4 games before the season even starts.
  16. Here's how they compile these: Carefully craft the first 10, go back and forth about the second 10, throw sh*# at the wall for the next 12.
  17. Some tailgate around the stadium and walk to Tavern on the Tracks or there is a large tailgate right across from that bar.
  18. EJ tears his ACL Week 1 and Tuel steps in and throws for 181 yards 1 td 3 ints and the Bills lose 31-7. Edit: I really didn't want this to be my 100th post. Ugh.
  19. I live in Charlotte and can attest to how bad the football culture is here. On any given Sunday, there are Bills fans tailgating in lots. To go watch the Bills game at a Bills bar. I realize the Panthers are less than 20 years old and most fans are still Redskins fans from way back when, but it's kind of sad.
  20. Sexy doesn't equal championship. Tell that to the Packers or Spurs or Carolina Hurricanes or Tampa Bay Lightning/Bucs or Indianapolis or Anaheim
