  1. "We need to tighten up our coverage which will help our pass rush,” Gailey said. “If you let them get it out in rhythm they will. The key is to not let them get it out in rhythm. We have to tighten things up and if we tighten things up I think the pass rush will be much more in play.” Tighten up how? By somehow getting a new secondary in 5 days? It's like he has no idea why what happened on Sunday happened at all.
  2. doctors will see how it responds to rest. (7-10 days) so out for home opener against KC! -Schef.
  3. Gilmore did fine in his first start ever. I was shocked at how late/absent the over-the-top coverage was from the safeties. They were constantly late in helping out and looked out of position a lot. Gimore gets a pass, the safeties don't. And McKelvin deserves heaps of blame. They were purposely forcing us into Nickel packages and picking on him. They knew, why didn't we?
  4. first and second year starting DBs? They were getting torched on pump-fakes. PUMP-FAKES.
  5. They're the bully on the block and we have to smack them in the mouth early, so teams know that we're not going to be kicked around. It's a statement game.
  6. If it's raining and/or windy do we take the wind in the first half? What if Tebow calls the toss and he loses? Is that God saying we shouldnt take the ball at all? If it's cloudy but going to be sunny later, do we factor that in and try to get the sun in our eyes in the 3rd and at our back in the 4th?
  7. I can't remember if it was NFL Films, but someone was covering the Jaguars pre-season a few years back and they followed the Turk while he round up the cuts. It was really interesting and kind of sad.
  8. There should have to be a mandatory moratorium on comparing the preseason to the regular season. Starting now. We've run out of topics, so now we're just eating our young.
  9. They were at a golf tournament on Tuesday and he had Andrew Peters on and I had to turn it off. It's so horrible.
  10. I have to admit I haven't been paying attention to his progress in the pre-season, and watching the replays I've been more focused on other players. Any assessments?
  11. http://blogs.buffalonews.com/press-coverage/2012/08/accuscore-projects-bills-as-playoff-team-barely.html And winning the division 8.7% of the time, which seems really, really low.
  12. I lived in Boston. The Bleacher Bar in Fenway is awesome. It has a McFaddens/Calico Jack's (NYC) party feel. They do Buffalo food and buckets of Labbatt Blue for a pretty cheap price. The only issue is seating, if you don't come early, as in at least an hour, you're most likely standing. But the guy that runs the show there is a true, blue bills fan, we've played catch on lansdowne in the middle of the street at half time. Great atmosphere.
  13. I expect to see far more running plays and far less penalties. I dont mind seeing FItz miss a few passes, I can understand that he's working on footwork/mechanics; I just wont tolerate bad decision-making from him.
  14. gronk. easy choice. he can catch and block. he's able to run up and down the field well. he's large enough to not be man-handled by an o-line.
  15. Living in Charlotte..Bills Bars as much as possible, otherwise splitting the NFL package with a Bills fan living in Boston. I will use the mobile credentials for the iPad. Edit: I will be at the Bills/Pats game in Sept.
  16. http://deadspin.com/5924603/stop-being-greedy-!@#$s-angry-things-football-fans-wrote-to-the-fcc-about-the-nfls-blackout-rule Some highlights: Tom Tellico [excerpt]: as a WNY/Buffalo resident..even though the bills suck (rotten core)its insulting as a tax payer to fund this team or any other when due to bottom line greed...(if we televise the games no one will attend). its absolutely offensive and insults our intelligence. its plain wrong especially in a locale where we..the tax payer have to fund the stadium..whether its for maintenance or whatever. what id like is a face to face with our POS owner Ralph wilson to tell him what i think of him. scum bag pig faced POS..greedy bastard. Ed Tofil [excerpt]: My dad resides in Dunkirk, NY and is 85 years old. Some of my best memories are of him taking me to see the Buffalo Bills at War Memorial Stadium as well as Ralph Wilson Stadium. He hasn't gone to a game recently but still follows them faithfully. It is amazing to me that he now has no way to see his Buffalo Bills during a blacked out game. Perhaps we could consider the fact HE FOUGHT IN WORLD WAR II TO MAINTAIN OUR FREEDOMS. I mean Holy Cow—-he can't watch his favorite team on tv because they can't sell 80,000+ tickets (how is that fair). A personal note to Ralph Wilson/or to whom it may concern——lifting the blackouts worked wonders for the new ownership of the the Chicago Blackhawks. Please take a chance and do what is right. It's the right thing to do for goodness sake. "Black Outyes" [excerpt]: Come on Cry Baby Bills! It's not time eliminate Blackouts but to expand them. What, Yes! If a team cannot sell out all its seats by the Thursday prior to the start of NFL season None the Home Games should be on local TV. This includes the Toronto game! All the following are rounded off. Buffalo has 200,000 residents; Erie County has 950,000 residents; WNY 2,700,000 and Ontario 5,500,000. So the Bills Blackout Territory has total population of 8,200,000 (not including any out of state sales Erie, PA etc.). Ralph Wilson stadium has 657,000 total seats available for sale on an annual basis while there are another 53,000 in Toronto for an annual ticket base of 700,000. There are 43,000 season ticket holders for a total of 387,000 seats sold (no season tickets in Toronto). To sell out every game it takes another 313,000 single game ticket sales. If that sounds like a lot its NOT. There 7,813,000 people available to buy these 313,000 single game tickets. Said another way there 24 people available to buy each seat. To say it so even GR bozos understand it if each of these 7,813,000 leaches would buy one ticket every 24 Years every game would be seen on local TV for the next quarter of a century. If one ticket every 24 years is to much for a "Bills Fan" to purchase then it's time for the NFL to move the Bills from Buffalo to market that will support the Bills. Come on Buffalo stop Crying and start Buying act like a major league city!! With respect to the handicap maybe the Bills could work out a deal with local theaters to broadcast the games at specific locations each week at no cost. The fat bottoms at GR get to watch the Bills for FREE (its work bs) so why shouldn't the handicap see the games for free. In fact why shouldn't the fat bottoms who bring their kids to their station not have to pay to watch the game. Forget the broadcast bs!.
