  1. The Panthers are an arena league team that plays outside.
  2. wait what are you looking at about them? PAs?
  3. Met Terrence McGee on the rooftop of Soho summer before 2004 season. He was with two other guys from the secondary (don't remember who). He said the team was going to start 0-3 (they started 0-4). He didn't even say it in a negative way, just like a matter of fact way. I told everyone. It was amazing/sad(?) when they actually lost the first three.
  4. Living in Charlotte, I catch a good amount of games. He's a great QB, big arm, mobile and a leader. He definitely tries to do too much sometimes and that gets him into trouble. He thinks he has to be the savior on every play. And now that the team has been influx at skill positions, he's trying to do more than ever. Benjamin is definitely a stud, but Steve Smith leaving took this team down a few pegs.
  5. i had an old state of the season from Delaware North and how much they made innnnnnn '06 i believe, if anyone wants to see how the sausage is made, so to speak haha.
  6. FOULS COMMITTED DURING TRY Article 3 Fouls Committed During Try Item 1: Fouls Before the Signal. If there is a foul by either team after a touchdown and before the ready-for-play signal, it is enforced on the next kickoff. A.R. 11.5 Offensive player A1 clips after runner A2 had scored a touchdown. Ruling: Penalty is enforced from the succeeding spot which is the spot of the next kickoff. Penalty is not enforced on Try. Item 2: Fouls Before the Snap. If there is a foul by the offense which causes a play to be whistled dead prior to the snap, it shall be treated the same as if it had occurred prior to a scrimmage play. The whistle shall be blown immediately. (See 7-4-1). If a foul by the defense prevents the attempt of a Try, the offensive team has the option to have the distance penalty assessed on the next Try or on the ensuing kickoff. Item 3: Fouls by Team A. The following applies if there is a foul by Team A: (a) If there is a foul by the offense during a successful Try, after the penalty the Try shall be repeated, unless the penalty for the foul results in a loss of down. (b) If the penalty for a foul results in a loss of down, the Try is unsuccessful, and there shall be no replay. Item 4: Fouls by Team B. The following applies if there is a foul by Team B: (a) If the foul results in a safety, the offensive team is awarded one point. (b) If the attempted Try is unsuccessful, the offensive team may accept or decline the distance penalty before the down is replayed. © If the attempted Try is successful, all fouls committed by the defense will result in the distance penalty being assessed on the ensuing kickoff, unless the offensive team chooses to attempt a retry after enforcement of the penalty. Note: If the foul is for defensive pass interference, and it is declined, no distance penalty is enforced on the kickoff. Item 5: Fouls by Both Teams. If there are fouls by both teams during a Try, the Try must be replayed (14-5-1). Normal enforcement rules for double fouls apply. Item 6: Fouls After a Try. If there is a foul by either team after a Try, it is enforced on the succeeding kickoff. If there are fouls by both teams, normal enforcement rules apply. A.R. 11.6 During a Try which is unsuccessful, defensive B1 is offside. Ruling: Replay at previous spot or one yard line. A.R. 11.7 During a Try which is successful, defensive B1 is offside. Ruling: Try good and loss of yardage on kickoff against Team B, or retry from B’s one-yard line.
  7. If this is a parody account, it's amazing. If it isn't....well it's STILL amazing. (BLOCK SPAGNULO)
  8. TWO trent edwards jerseys.
  9. I think deadspin said it best yesterday, "Boston fans are infinitely worse than they win, because they will brag AND they will still find a way to complain about Brady’s suspension and the injustice of it all and BUCKNAHHHHHHHHHH. The thrill of winning does not discourage them from still acting as if the sky is falling down upon them somehow. They want your envy and your pity, in tandem. They want you to ENVY their pity."
  10. Maybe he personally tells Kraft to tell Belicheck to make it stop. Maybe they don't listen and get caught and punished. The Pats* get to bang that "sting operation" drum because Goodell is in a position now where he cannot come forward saying the league office had prior information that the Pats* were deflating balls. If he did, the outcry would be YOU KNEW THE WHOLE TIME?! It would be a cluster. I'm not trying to be a conspiracy theorist, but I could easily see that maybe some teams were complaining about the Pats* balls, Goodell personally spoke with Kraft about it. That's a very feasible thing. Also, I honestly think the second the Colts got their hands on a Pats* ball, regardless of how it felt, they were going to turn it in. In that respect, I think them turning a ball in was premeditated. There's not way a LB, in the cold, is going to tell the 1lb or less PSI difference in a ball in the middle of a huge game, post-INT.
  11. Part of me feels like the league warned the team about the balls ahead of time. The team didn't comply and were caught. Goodell wanted to save face for an owner/team directly disobeying him though, so he smacks the team with fine/draft picks, but doesn't get into the reasoning behind it.
  12. Ooh, that's my fault. A lot of signings/trades happening, lost sight of that. I withdraw my argument haha.
  13. The Bills got what they needed and can't worry about everyone else. How does a third-party trade with Dallas play into our trade with PHI? Could we have landed Murray without giving up Kiko or high draft picks or someone more valuable? No.
  14. DOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOMMMMMMMMMMMMMEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDD
  15. This nails it. We're always looking to somehow keep the status quo all while wishing for something magical to happen and for underachievers to have a renaissance.
  16. They would actually have an all-world RB and Wilson was 16th in rushing. So two rushers better than our top rusher.
  17. I'd like to open this up to debate: With all of the talk after the McCoy trade that 'RBs are a dime a dozen,' I started to think about RBs' roles in relation to their team's offensive scheme. Some believe that all you need is a serviceable running back and you can build around a QB. But how do you measure the productivity of a serviceable RB AND how much of your offensive scheme dictates how you define serviceable? The Super Bowl Champion Patriots had no RBs among the top 40 rushers in the league. They cycled four RBs and their top rusher had less than 500 yards. The Patriots likely have 2-3 serviceable RBs. They fit within the scheme, they get the yards when needed, they score from short range, they do what Belicheat needs them to do. This is all good and well when you plug and play within the Pats scheme. But what about the Bills scheme? What the Pats define as serviceable wouldn't cut it for our team. We're relying on EJ, or maybe Cassel, to run the offense and we need a stronger run game. We wouldn't be able to get away with a top rusher under 500 yards (FJ had 525). Our definition of serviceable is going to have to be much, much stronger. We couldn't get away with Boobie, Brown and an aged FJ. My argument is that the Bills couldn't be a playoff team with their current roster WITHOUT a Top 5 RB. Sure there are many serviceable RBs, but they don't outweigh our weaknesses (oline/TE/young WRs/QB(?)).
  18. Illegal hands on the defense. It's an AUTOMATIC first down though it's only five yards. It's the new holding. It allows the refs to completely control the game extend drives etc. there is hand fighting happening on every single down. It trivializes the entire game.
  19. I can do without any color commentary ever again
  20. Music city miracle lowlight. And the games over
