  1. No. They don't even ask Brady to do much anymore. Every pass is a screen, swing pass, dump off to an RB or a 10 to 15~ yard throw to a wide open Edelman. He has it made.
  2. saw it's going to potentially be sub zero by kickoff.
  3. My head is spinning. That all felt kind of ambiguous. Rush-Rush-Pass is a weak sequence, yet good teams can execute it well. Right. If you have good players, your sequence doesn't matter as much. We have a 43% success rate with R-R-P. The Rams? 60% KC? 53%. Someone like New England has a 39% because they never R-R-P. They're constantly throwing on 1st down. Their frequency is at the bottom (along with other good teams). If you have a stellar line and RB, then you can R-R-P to your heart's content.
  4. It's time to surrender to the fact that finding a great head coach or franchise QB or stud WR or shutdown CB is luck. It's LUCK. Yes, you can gain something from the eye test and put them in a category that's above the fray, but beyond that it's luck. Personalities, supporting cast, situations, culture, ownership all play a role in how these individuals perform and that can't be factored into 40 times and W-L records. It's luck.
  5. All of the angst about our rookie qb and look at these horrible inconsistent playoff quarterbacks.
  6. Blitzing every down works for a few weeks and then everyone catches on.
  7. Nfl is moving to pass catching RBs.
  8. I’d be curious to see how many wide open looks he’s had vs the rest of the nfl. Also his WR corp are partly to blame for his close coverage accuracy. We knew he had accuracy issues out of college, with his WRs, no run game, a tough schedule and a bad oline, these numbers are a little skewed.
  9. So basically cam Newton’s second year (57.7% 19 TDs 12 INTs) I’ll take it.
  10. https://www.profootballfocus.com/news/pro-2018-nfl-offensive-line-rankings-all-32-teams-units-after-week-15 Cleveland has the 2nd best oline in the NFL. We were 24th last week, but that could drop to mid- to high-20s. Should note that NYJ and AZ are below us. Considerations for Darnold and Rosen.
  11. The worst part is aside from that Jet sweep they ran over and over again, their game plan wasn't really that exotic. Play man and force Josh Allen to throw. Run the ball over and over again between the tackles. Brilliant. They won't get far in the playoffs, even if they were gifted another bye.
  12. That is their new A game. Brady's old. Gronk is busted.
  13. remember all of those very serious Bills fans who protected this guy until the bitter end and beyond? practice squad of arguably the biggest tire fire in the NFL. fun stuff. funnnnnnnn stuff.
  14. i'm now rooting for SD.
  15. This season was exactly what Josh needed. Some success. Some setbacks. Some learning. Understanding different defenses. Getting used to the speed of the game. Understanding how to win and how easy it is to let games slip away. He’s going to come Into 2019 ready as QB1. Im excited for the future.
  16. Let me know when we play in a big game.
  17. If the Rams can score at a rate they always do, there's no way that Chicago offense is keeping up. Also, cold effects everyone, but obviously favors the D.
  18. oline is horrible. "josh holds the ball too long" what does that have to do with our putrid rushing? yes, we're 13th in rushing, but when you take away allens 389 yards, we're 30th. he's singlehandedly saving the team. and when he's standing in the pocket and throwing, he's taking huge hits from missed assignments. usually on 3rd and 18s after the oline held AGAIN or jumped Offside AGAIN. they're bad. allen takes huge hits and saves would-be sacks by escaping the pocket and running for his life.
  19. don't crown him. but, imagine any other QB that's behind this horrible of an oline. imagine every time we see Josh take off for large chunks of yards, he's actually forced to force the ball to a WR or take a sack or throw it away. he's doing a great job of making this oline look a lot better than it is.
  20. Garrapolo and Wentz? I would make a case for Cam. But either way. It’s not super impressive. We will see how Mahomes pans out.
  21. Brady, Ben, Eli, Rivers, Brees and Rodgers are all done in the next 2-3 years. Then we will enter an all-time bottom of the barrel nfl qb era.
