I was going with "great place to raise a family" as if other cities are engulfed in flames.

probably talkin' combine. 40 times and high jumps. you know those things that don't matter in a game if you don't have an offensive line. -

Best one year wonder?

I discovered a second category: Best guy you thought was a one year wonder and then looked at his stats and realized he actually sucked. Roscoe Parrish. -

Minneapolis blows Buffalo out of the water. It's a top-flight city. Jacksonville and Indy and Cinci? Not so much. -

why would you feel the need to answer to this? unless, of course, you've actually discussed drafting another QB. -
Superbowl Pregame Thread

I’m awaiting the Rams offense to look anemic. For their superstars to play horribly and for their defense to look confused as New England rolls out an offensive strategy from 2004. -
Problems with making PI reviewable...

I'm of the mind to allow holding and pass interference. Allow linemen to hold each other. Allow DBs to hold WRs. Allow them to battle. Throw away this idea of hands off. Penalties will reduce greatly (imagine no more illegal hands, 5 yards, automatic first down). Just let them play. We ALWAYS appreciate it when they let them play. Why not just go full tilt. Players and teams will adapt. They just will. They'll learn to break off the line differently. They'll learn to beat holds. They'll learn to run different plays and patterns. It will be okay. -
About Tom Brady and the Patriots
quinnearlysghost88 replied to Ice bowl 67's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
i think he enjoys a clean pocket a lot. SD thought, hey we'll rush four and let our field of DBs make plays. That's the perfect way to lose. You have to blitz him. You have to give him different looks. You have to give him pressure up the middle. He's not mobile. Look at the blitzes that the Pats were giving Rivers. He was unable to get comfortable. Rushing four is a losing strategy.
