We’re not going after Dalvin. It’s a nice story, but he wants $ like every other RB, we have a nice trio in Cook, Harris, and Murray. That’s a nice combo. They can save as much as possible Murray for December unless Harris gets hurt. Cook does look good. I think he may breakout this year.

Is the MLB Competition Over Before It Started?
machine gun kelly replied to JackKemp's topic in The Stadium Wall
So Benford and Rapp are tiny? Rapp is quite a bit larger than Hyde and Poyer, you know those 1st and 2nd team all pro guys that before last year were the best safety tandem in the league. Tre a previous 1st time all or sucks. Taron who is considered a top 2-3 NCB in the league has somehow forgot how to cover. Rapp is for our heave TE and running teams instead of Taron. Mika I’d size has never been a problem and we have length and powered up from the first 4. Beane admitted he was going for more speed at MLB. When Von is back, we have the potential to have Groot inside at 6’7, and Floyd who also has length. -
Josh Jacobs is Leaving Las Vegas

You guys saw how raw Richardson was today so I tend to think they are going to milk as much as they can from Taylor and then try and tag before they let him go. There isn’t much a RB can do about it. -
If you listen to Movin the Chains training camp tour, Pat and Jim interviewed among others Hyde. Hyde made a point to let them know he remained in the stadium, not going back to San Diego. He said had the Bills won he would’ve played in the AFCCG. He was already cleared to play and shortened his rehab down from 6 to 4 months by staying with our trainers in the facilities. Laslty, he made a point to tell the guys he’s never had a season shortened in his sports career from HS, College, and the pros. I remember before last year he and Poyer had played the 5 years prior with the Bills at around 94% of the snaps from 2017-21. To say Hyde or Poyer are injury prone makes about as much sense that Milano was injury prone vs. just he had a couple of bad breaks. He also made 1st team all pro, and in 2021 both Hyde and Poyer made 1st and 2nd team all pros. If anyone gets some playing time, it will most likely be Rapp. Rapp can fill in at Safety, but he also can sub in for Taron when we are playing a TE heavy and run heavy teams. He’s perfect for that role, and that doesn’t take anything away from Taron’s success. He’s built more for the pass happy WR teams who are heavy in 11. This will be one of the best secondary units we’ve had and that’s saying something that for 5 years has been a top 5 pass defense.

Agreed. Heck it’s one preseason game, but it seems they are serious about Sherfield and Harry, and you know Davis and Diggs are locked in as 1 and 2. Isabella has a chance with that speed, and then a fight for the 6th slot. There is also the possibility they slot Gilliam as the 4th RB. It sounds like they are going to have DK and DK2, Morris has looked sharp and is athletic. The choice then becomes another WR or another TE. We’ll see. Trust McBeane. They’ll make the right call. Think of it this way, if they trusted Shakir that much, why did they get Brown and Beasely off the couch at the end of the year? Shakir is on shaky ground and he wasn’t a high draft pick. A mid round 5th pick is not going to be a lock each year. Sometimes you hit gold like Milano and Diggs, and sometimes you get crapps.

I looked at who disagreed with you, and there are some good posters who are. Real Bills fans, but I tend to agree with you. I have Sirius so often will listen or watch other games when the Bills Arent playing. Every announcer group across the league references the 12th man. Seattle always tries to say they invented it, but I doubt it. Bills Mafia means the 12th man, but is specific to only the Bills. Why not memorialize on the new stadium. I wouldn’t change HIGHMARK, but in 2026, the Mafia will be so synonymous with our rabid fans. So Chevy, you won me over.

NAILED IT! My only changes would be in the outsiders. Ravens, sure, but Detroit is in a weak division and conference. The third will probably surprise some in that Seattle could prove they are real. Gino had a consistent run last year, they added at WR to already two excellent WR’s. I just don’t see the Fish going far with Tua, the Cowgirls perpetually screw thing up when it counts, and to circle back the Ravens added weapons and have I believe potentially a better OC.

I can see Isabella possibly making it as a returner, and Shakir may get relegated to the PS.

Kyler Murray working his way back to playing
machine gun kelly replied to Walking Tall's topic in The Stadium Wall
I particularly like the Brucie reference with the inmates in the Longest Yard. -
It wasn’t aired anywhere down here so listened to a bit in the 2nd half on Sirius. Kyle Allen sounded terrible from what you guys are telling me. I honestly don’t have a problem with Barkley as our primary backup. We’ve been fortunate in the past with Trubisky and so on. I know it’s always possible, but Allen has been incredibly durable. I know he was out for a few games in 2018, but he really has improved escaping, and even sliding more. After today, my guess is McBeane are sitting him down and telling him no mistakes moving forward.

We have the technology all the way back to the 70’s. Look… I guess it doesn’t work for brains. Ridge you lied to me.

Lost, there are a lot of comparisons to Allen with Richardson as they are of the same dimensions and raw talent. I saw a lot of him as the Gators are always on in Tampa during the college season. It’s a leap though. What makes Allen, Super Allen is his drive to be the best. His relentless off season training by Palmer etc. Allen grew more that I’ve ever seen anyone grow as a QB and I’m 55. Richardson can grow, but it will take that type of drive and passion for the game. We’ll all look back on Allen as a freak of nature someday. I’ll probably never see a WB like him again. Even Mahomes came out more polished as a rookie.
-
Yeah Senator McCarthy told me Ridge is code for Pinko Bastage. You know it’s true if Senator McCarthy said it. And you thought Oppenheimer was a pinko. Frank Burns the Yankee Doodle Doctor said so.

You guys have fun with this show. I proudly can say I’ve never watched hard knocks or any other “reality” show. To me it’s incredibly boring. Give me Jack Ryan, Chicago PD, or the Big Bang Theory. I’ve never seen the draw. I know a lot of people like that stuff, but it’s really not reality as some of you pointed out they play to the camera.

Buscuit, I have no problems tearing it up with friends a couple times a year, but even though my kids are 24, 22, 19. I never drink in front of them as it’s an old habit. I’ll be up in Buffalo to see my cousins and old lifelong friends in Buffalo in October and I’m sure my liver will need a break after that weekend, but I’ll just Uber. Just like I won’t drink and drive, I won’t let my friends either. The things these buttheads don’t get is no one is saying you can’t tie one on every once in awhile, just don’t get behind the wheel. Pretty simple right. I want always this way, but having kids and a career will do that to you.
-
Have these idiots not heard about this new technology? It’s Iber, tuber, oh UBER YOU MORONS! I’m sorry but I have little compassion for these guys. Whether is Britt Reid, Riggs or anyone else. Hell I have wings sports bar approximately 1 mile from my home and on some gamedays of I’ve had three or more beers I Uber home. It’s cost like $6, but I didn’t hurt myself or anyone else. If I haven’t had enough I have the Uber driver pit stop at the 7/11. It doesn’t happen often, but I work in sales. I lose my career if I ever received a dui. No one would ever pick me up. Even if we’re just three glasses of wine at dinner. Two is my max when on a date with a woman. It’s just not worth the third drink.

There hasn’t been a rigged professional sports game since the 1919 World Series. it’s like a fish story. It’s not real.

How much do you guys really enjoy preseason games. They are so vanilla with very little planning. Heck Marv back in the day would routinely go 0-4 in the nothing season and then light 11-13 wins in the regular season. I honestly don’t care. -

That’s ok. I’ll send Milano a needle to pop that bubble. -
Strive I like where you’re head is at with the JESTS. I love the hype train on the J-E-T-S, jets, jets, jets. It will be so much better when we spank their arses on 9/11. I want to see a McD drawn up Milano blitz that knocks Rodgers out of the game. I never wish for injuries, just maybe a bell ring would be nice. You know like the look Kelly had in his last game. Seriously, our offense will be gelling and theirs will not be together yet. They will probably in game 2, but we have the advantage in game 1. I guarantee the national talk hosts will all pick the Jets as the winner. That’s what makes it more fun to hammer them in week 1.
