Yep, he and Beane scraped into the playoffs with a mediocre team. Purges bad contracts and slowly built the team up the right way. Get your franchise QB, build up your lines, focus on weapons and add depth. 62 and 29 I think a lot of fan bases would take. That doesn’t mean I’m not thinking we’ve got to get closer to winning the AFCCG, and shal I whisper it win it all. 31 teams are disappointed every year.

Dawson Knox, 10th Best TE in NFL
machine gun kelly replied to hondo in seattle's topic in The Stadium Wall
Not that I care about any rankings from ESPN, but the rating for Knox seems right. -
Jets and Quinnen Williams agree on 4-year 96 million deal
machine gun kelly replied to Gregg's topic in The Stadium Wall
And the kicker is it will bankrupt the Chiefs because they can only pull so much from the Mahomes contract. Please keep driving these contracta up to kill their future. -
This show is for fans, not intel for other NFL QB’s. They were discussing on Jeremy’s show and Mahomes when asked who he would rather play in the Bills or Bengals, he thought the Bills were a better matchup for him, but between the trash talk, he wants to take it to the Bengals. I wouldn’t read much into this stuff. If you’re just thinking a little entertainment, most will probably like it. I’m not a documentary/reality show guy so I’ll probably pass. Give me a good episode of SWAT, Chicago PD, etc any day of the week.

Further Details About Gruden’s Leaked E-Mails
machine gun kelly replied to WotAGuy's topic in The Stadium Wall
I’ll say what I stayed when this was new, I don’t condone either nor does any reasonable person the horrible remarks, but to write it down on a permanent record is ######ed. My sister and other family members are in law enforcement and she has stated so many times “everything is discoverable”. I’ve talked to my kids so many times and told them not even Snapchat that they tell me goes away in a date or two is crap. If law enforcement wants they can get just about anything. Texts, IG, Facebook, Snapchat and just about any other social media venue, even this board. Thankfully we have mods to keep knuckleheads from themselves here (for the most part). -
No that’s a good question. Typically 5 in the newer category, 1 prior HC or Contributer like Polian or Ron Wolf, and 2 Seniors. I’m almost positive those are the numbers except the exception year when they let in 20. It will be unlikely he gets in his first year, but hopefully gains momentum over the next couple of years. Of non kickers, he was one of the most impactful STers in the history of the NFL. Someone else asked what can we as fans do? Well one venue you can get an audience to one of the voters is calling in on the right shows on NFLR. Vic is on Saturdays on Press Coverage, and I can’t remember, but think Pat Kirwan may also be a voter. Vic though is the one to plead Taskers case and is highly respected in the sports media. There are two committees. One for active and contributor, and a different committee for the seniors. They spend months debating their candidates, but since the voters are relatively static so if they hear Tasker’s case more than once, he has a chance.

I’ll stick with dumbass for me. A ___bag I reserve for guys that beat their kids or wife. He’s just demonstrating he’s an idiot and feels the need to write stupid comments back and forth with fans of his old team. Grow up KT. Zero, you’re fine, but I wouldn’t get into spitting contests with some of these posters. It’s just not worth it. Hopefully Reid can put an end to it once they hit camp.

Andrew Luck will be eligible for the HOF in 2024
machine gun kelly replied to Gregg's topic in The Stadium Wall
Stop calling en Shirley. Classic line. Permer, I’m not saying Andrew Luck wasn’t one of the most talented QB’s to be drafted in a generation (outside of Josh and Mahomes maybe), but he played 6 of 7 years and his O line got him beat up repeatedly. He went 53-33 in those 7 years. He decided to retire and the likelihood of the voters signing off on him is low. RB’s can rarely but get in with a. Short career like Sayers and Davis, but not usually QB’s. I just don’t think it will happen. If he stayed in the league and even took another year off to heal or something, but played until he was 35-37, then absolutely. I just don’t see it happening. I was a big fan of his and he was constantly running for his life. -
Andrew Luck will be eligible for the HOF in 2024
machine gun kelly replied to Gregg's topic in The Stadium Wall
Luck won’t get into the HOF, but is more of a sad situation as he was a generational talent. The Colts not protecting him was criminal. I hope he’s found peace. -
Inqas listening to Movin the Chains on NFLR, and they do an interesting segment over 6 weeks or so as they break down each position group with analytics and they surprise casual fans with their grades out of 20. They were discussing the edge rusher group as they separate the D Line into interior and edge rusher to eliminate the 3/4 vs. 4/3. They ranked us at 19 out of 20 and 4th in the NFL. My point here is they in each group indicate who has a player to give like KC has a player to give on the O Line. They stated we should trade away 1 guy in TC and even mentioned a trade partner that makes sense in AZ. I can see Basham going there.

Playoff offense is just as much an issue as defense
machine gun kelly replied to Mikie2times's topic in The Stadium Wall
I agree on the defensive side, but I can’t ignore the pathetic showing on offense. I’m only cautiously hopeful Sherfield, Harty, DK2, and Harris as well as year 2 for Cook will be the difference. What I am confident about is McGovern and Mt. O’Cyrus will make a difference. -
3/12, that’s how I’m looking at it. More creativity, aggressiveness, power up front, speed at the second level, and a ton of experience god willing the pros stay healthy. Lastly, the Rapp addition for what I’ve mentioned above, and McD will be like a pig in slop. These media questions because it’s pre TC of McD being able to run a defense and the team. That’s nuts as no one questions, Reid, McVeigh, or others in the past running the DC or OC role along with the team. We are a seasoned team with a good culture, a HC with 7 yrs experience, and talent. I love him taking in the defense.

T: I know a couple of guys have you crap about starting this thread, but I don’t mind at all. I veer from your POV though in that I see Rapp as our Big Nickel, alternate for Taron when we face sound 12 personnel and 21 personnel teams. He’s better suited with his speed and power to stand up to those options. He gets developed this year by this coaching staff to walk into Hyde or Poyer (most likely Hyde) next year as Hyde won’t be under contract and 33/34. Im not going to walk down the Hamlin story. He has a way to go, but all the best hopes for him. It just can’t factor into who stays and who goes.
-
Hondo, I said this in someone else’s thread, but I’m guessing with impending tough 12 personnel from opponents and a strong running game, we’ll see more Rapp than 11 personnel teams where Taron will be the go to. I’m very excited for what McD is going to dial up this year. Beane eluded to wanting even more speed at the MLB so Dorian and the development of Bernard makes a great deal of sense.
-
Ok, I’m a little wielded out you know that much about the actresses who played cat woman in the 60’s. I Im not sure how this thread about Hyde and Poyer being back together evolved into a 60’s silly show as much as I loved the reruns when I was a kid. I remember it along with green lantern on ch. 29 in the afternoon. Ch. 29 is a real blast from the past.

Chris Brown to start season as interim play by play guy
machine gun kelly replied to Matt_In_NH's topic in The Stadium Wall
Brown works for the Bills. What do you expect? Not you, I mean everyone, and I manage several states so have heard a number of PBP amd they are local icons. They get paid local $. There no point in complaining as we’re getting him if Murph doesn’t make a full recovery, and if he’s this far out from a stroke, he’s probably only going to be able to do spot interviews on WGR. I wish the best for him in his recovery. For me Brown is fine, and yes he gets animated at times, but you should hear Gene Deckerhoff down here in Tampa. Gene also calls FSU games and yep he gets nuts at times. For the comments on Papa, what do you expect? It’s NYC. A10 mil potential audience. -
Hopkins released by Arizona (7/16: signed by Titans)
machine gun kelly replied to HappyDays's topic in The Stadium Wall
Well said and the prevailing wisdom is Hop’s agent is driving up the $ expecting to get it up a bit with a. Contender so in essence using the Tiny Titans and Cheats as pawns. The Browns could’ve been a thought, but they have some upcoming rising stars so their beat writers are reporting they are out. Im guessing a 20% chance at best, but would happen in week 1 of training camp or right before. -
FWIW Badol, I laughed when you wrote it and honestly NFCS, AFCS, eh they both suck. This is coming from a guy who’s lives in Tampa since the Bills/Giants SB, and fans here have no aspirations as to this year for the Bucs.

hon do it, (I always think of SWAT when Insee you’re name). It was on for a season or two in the mid 70’s and the reruns would play on ch. 29 of you grew up in WNY. Ch. 29 was good for gillligans island, the Brady brunch, Star Trek and every other rerun. Hong Kong Fooey, #1 super guy.
