  1. Big hands, well you know.
  2. Makes JP even more of a challenge to keep. I say let him test the market and if he comes back as Spotrac states at $6.25 mil. Then would be even better on the inside. I still want Ngokue, and Hooper. Draft two WR’s and an edge rusher and we are set, after we get late Dillon. It would be great in a mid round to get a RT to share time with Nsekhe, and move Ford to LG. Let Spain walk unless we keep Ford at RT, and make an offer for Spain. My perfect off season along with extending ones we want.
  3. newbee move. I made the same mistake when I was in one of my first posts. Mostly, because I’m half blind without my glasses. Buffalo is no newbee, so maybe he lost his cheaters for that morning. You know I’m kidding 716.
  4. Peace, you have the fat right, not sure on the jacket. Just kidding. That was too easy. Have a good start of the week partner.
  5. Virgil- nice of you. I’m sure one 9f the guys would love either one. I’d take you up on it, but I think others would get more enjoyment living in Buffalo. I only wear mine on Sundays during the season living in FL.
  6. Corkscrew - you’re nailing it with you’re posts. Agreed on the evaluation. This is why I’m optimistic, but not necessarily convinced. This year will tell the tale if he gets into year 3 has lots of weapons, and an even better defense against a much tougher schedule. All in Beane’s hands now. The only thing Allen can do is keep working on Palmers clinic like Darnold and the others.
  7. Ford’s natural position is at LG as Hapless educated me and thanks big guy. I’d love to see him there, have Nsekhe there at RT, and draft one for a swing or as a rotational person. Love the Oliver and Singletary picks. Knox isn’t there yet with the drops, but will get there especially if we grab Hooper. Now if we get Diggs on top of Ngokue and Hooper, plus a great draft, it’s championship time. The crazy thing is we can afford all three extend contracts and still add 5 to even 6 picks this year. 2020 can be fun.
  8. Those are my two. Release Murphy, Kroft, and Smith, and DiMarco if Dillon in the draft can block given his size and power. Save a ton of $ to offset these acquisitions, and draft an edge rusher, and 1-2 WR’s. Between Hooper (mentoring Knox as well), Dillon, two WR’s, and two more WR’s, we have a much more potent team. We’ll also know for sure with these weapons as well as serious pressure up front on defense giving short fields if Allen is really the guy. I believe he is the guy, but fine with the skepticism from some. With everything I just wrote, there is no reason not to make a deep run.
  9. The 17th game for once and for all which has been said in every outlet out there is a neutral site to expand the brand. It’s on every media outlet, newspaper, blog, etc. The 3 games is a negotiating ploy for ore-season, as it will settle on two games, and the dress squad will go to 53-55. There might be a second bye, and it has been proven over the last decade a 3 RD wildcard in each conference means mostly 10-6, and 9-7 teams with the worst 8-8. Not teams with a losing record. The only way to do it is 4 competitive practices as was presented, and a ton of concessions for players including marijuana, medical benefits for veterans and so on. If they phase in the 17 th game to 2022, it allows players to negotiate new contracts with a 17 th game involved. Also, the new contracts for tv and streaming and increasing the share for players from 47% to 48.5% with a substantial increase for over half the players on the minimum gaining a minimum of $93k and overall a 25% increase which is the horrible disparity in the league. Of course the 30+ players who are in the top 10 in every team only get a 4.5% increase, and they are motivated given their repeated injuries to not want this one, but the rank and file improve their situation tremendously. If you had an increased practice squad, 55 active on game day, and the majority of players getting an upwards of 25-50% increase in their base pay just makes the sense. These guys avg. four years or less. The Mahomes, Sherman’s of the world are not going to hurt over this deal. They could start at Labor Day, and finish on Presidents’ Day so people have off on Monday after the SB. The league has international games, increases the revenue, for ALL, including 48.5% to players, and they all win. This is going to happen so wrap you’re arms around it. It’s not going away.
  10. I understand in the second or third, but even with FA, we need a high round pick for Edge Rusher and WR, and that is even if us picking up an edge rusher in FA.
  11. Yes. You obviously have a tendency to like being a pain in the ars to people just expressing their opinion. I dint attack you, just told you I disagreed with you’re opinion. I know the rules and the positioning does not warrant a call, but that interjects common sense. Feel free to respond in whatever juvenile manner as I will not respond as you’re not worth it. To everyone with common sense, my apologies as I normally do not respond to these juvenile attitudes. No worries as I will not respond again.
  12. There is no one that is worth two first and a second. Maybe a generational QB, but even that is a stretch. We can either sit at 22 or move up slightly to get someone around 16 or so if worth it. We can improve so much with a couple of key FA, and maybe bundle 9 picks to say 5 or 6 if we get trade partners. There are a number of teams in cap hell that would love cheap labor.
  13. It was a bad call Scott, but you have every right to you’re opinion. It’s over so not worth worrying about it. The regular joes out there that donated to an already wealthy young man is silly. I make a good living, and would never donate to this charity? If you want to donate you’re $, give it to a children’s cancer fund, shiners, you’re church, disabled kids, whatever. They are the ones that need it. I was shocked fans donated, and even if he was fined, it goes to charity, so not sure, but he might even be able to write it off. I don’t know nor am I willing to look into tax implications. It sucks he was fined, and glad reduced, but it comes with the game. This is not the first stupid penalty and fine, and won’t be the last.
  14. Augie, can you explain as DTV is owned by AT&T, so they are the same thing, unless you mean you se them for Cel., and DTV. I’m not asking other than confused as I had DTV for twenty years, but can’t now as I’m in a place where we can’t get the right angle to get a signal.
  15. WL- good points, and as Polian said on NFLR six months ago, he evaluated his lifetime history and stated he was at a 57% success rate in the draft and around the same to a little better in free agency. Given he is one of the few GM’s in the HOF, Beane Id say is doing pretty well for a new GM, especially as he was hamstringed by lack of cap and high contracts for previous players. Now he has cap space, a long future of a decent cap situation moving forward, and 9 picks. The key for me and sounds like you are saying something similar is has he and McD learned from the mistakes of holding onto a guy like Peterman too long, or Benjamin. I would feel very encouraged if they cut bait with these two guys, trade up for a young stud TE in FA, and you guys have convinced me maybe it is a good idea to grab Ngokuae given Jax and ATL ‘s cap situation (Hooper). With the Murphy and these two cuts alone we’re looking at almost $99 mil in cap space. We could afford these upgrades.
  16. I seriously doubt anyone is trading for Rosen, but you might be right Alf. As you stated, he is going to be at best a career back up.
  17. I wish they had this when in my 20’s. I’ll have to tell my 21 yr. old son in college. He’s actually pretty responsible, but sure his fraternity brothers would like this information.
  18. GB, now that’s funny. I’m laughing not at the obvious reference, but we adopted my third from China 15 years ago. This is exactly what it’s like over there. We were stuck in this city, Naning, and was described to us this is common over there so you brought back a couple of memories. T Master, not trying to pile on, but I can’t even understand what you were trying to say. I guess some kind of speculation on the Fish.
  19. Lastly, there would be a drop to two pre season games, and probably a competitive practice, but the game day roster would increase probably to 55 or something. I don’t know if they go to a second bye. I really don’t have an opinion and defer to all of you on the second bye.
  20. Mike, it’s most likely going to be both. There will be a push for the 17th game and the extra wildcard per conference. The league will acquiesce on smaller things like marijuana, and sell that both sides make more $. I’m not sure why so many point to business men and women trying to generate a profit, when the players also benefit from 48.5% of the tv revenue. Given that the avg. player has a lifespan less than four years, the additional dollars will help with each person starting their real career.
  21. Cut them both and upgrade.
  22. This is crazy. A year ago, my oldest son came to me in college and he had a full ride in lax. He had his fourth concussion and asked me what I think he should do. I asked him what does he think he should do. He said, he thinks it might be a good decision to hang it up. I told him he knew the answer all along, just wanted confirmation. I thought this was Germaine to the topic. No amount of money is worth you’re health. I’m also shocked a team would continue letting him play with the buzz on CTE.
  23. Bandit, I see you’re point, but isn’t there merit in not offering too much in a deep WR draft. That’s the leverage not to do it, and offering two even what someone else said a 4th next year is cheap labor for a team skinny in cap space.
  24. I’d rather draft someone or pick up a younger role player.
  25. If Allen could just learn to throw into those really tight windows like Kelly made look so easy, we’d be in the hunt for the SB every year. Don’t get me wrong as he is improving with each year, but Kelly was fearless and made it look so easy. Great remembering those days when all of us were a bit younger.
