FO Analysis of Buffalo O-Line
machine gun kelly replied to Coach Tuesday's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
We are not one player away. We have an excellent line, and some of the previous players and analysts are saying exactly that point. Ford should develop into an excellent right Guard. Either Feliciano will accept back up $ when healthy as his contract I believe is up at the end of the year, or we could lose him. We will be tested this week with Donald and company. We’ll see how they hold up and hopefully play as well as last week. Coach, thanks for sharing as that was a fun link. Very valuable info. -
The Jalen Ramsey Foot In Mouth Thread
machine gun kelly replied to KingBoots8's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I think Allen takes it in stride, but I bet as much as those WR’s like Josh, they’ll tell him in the huddle to throw to them especially Diggs, no Brown says, “Josh Throw at me I’ll smoke him”, Diggs, no me I can out Digg him”, Beasley, “I’ll Bease him”. Go Bills! -
Today in Bills History (2011.09.25)
machine gun kelly replied to WhoTom's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
For the pre McD days, that was the best game I enjoyed in 15 years since the previous time we beat them with the Lawyer Malloy game. Too bad we only won two more games that year. -
Just got on. WHAT? I love Fitz, but this is a joke right? Kenny Anderson, Phil Simms, Boomer, and on and on and on. Fitz is a great guy and if there was a HOF for a backup, yes! You can name 20 guys who deserve the gold jacket ahead of him in the same position going back 70 years. Anyway, as much as I’d give my right arm or maybe an extra pinkie for him as our backup before he retires, you know Miami will never let him go when Tua takes over whenever that is going to happen.

TNF: Dolphins at Jaguars, 8:20 on NFLN
machine gun kelly replied to Hapless Bills Fan's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
GB, on you’re one point, I e said a number of times the Dolphins are better than was reflected in the first two weeks. Granted they lost to the Pats, but were coming back when they made it to 11 points. The Bills were that good in week 2, not the Dolphins that bad and if we had Milano and Edmunds, we would have had an even stronger game. There are a lot of new faces on that team with all the free agency acquisitions and 11 draft picks. They will continue to get better this year, and I suspect we don’t see Tua until they hit the tough part of their schedule. If I had to bet, I’d say week 10 against the Jets. He then gets a bye, and lays the Jets again two weeks later, then the Bengals. That gives him opponents if he makes mistakes, it’s not like getting destroyed by the Seahawks. He can play six games, I don’t see them as a playoff contender and can learn under Fitz until then. I seriously doubt the Fins will let Fitz go after this year as they know what a great backup he is on the field. Having him and a healthy Tua means they don’t have to keep 3. By next season, probably not too far before there should be a vaccine to allow teams to get a little bit back to normal. Thanks War. Woke up to a good laugh. Boys watch this one as it is hilarious. Poor Minshew and his 1970’s Johnny Bravo look (that’s an episode from the Brady Bunch where Greg’s alter ego looks like Minshew for you youngins). -

Inside track on Lawrence after 2 weeks?

J-E-T-S, Jets, Jets, Jets, with the first pick out of Clemson take Trevor Lawrence. Darnold traded to ....., for a 3rd round pick. -
Could Mahomes vs Allen be the next....
machine gun kelly replied to TwistofFate's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
It’s very difficult to tell as all of them are young, and that rivalry develops organically. I can see though the emergence in the AFC for fun games to talk about are Mahomes and Jackson this week. Watson, Allen, and he hasn’t started playing yet, but a possible emerging AB after we see a year or two from now is Tua. Now most AL QB’s don’t seem to translate their game into the NFL, but he was amazing. Just like it’s too early to tell on Burrows. That team just needs way too much help. -
That’s funny. Rosen’s never going to make it in the league except maybe a 3rd string backup. Darnold at least is trying hard every off season with Palmer and Allen to work on the things their teams respective coaches want.

Gale Sayers RIP
machine gun kelly replied to Royale with Cheese's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
They talked a lot today about who Sayers was closer to as a player and one caller stated OJ. That’s who I thought of p, amd unfortunately I was not old enough to ever see Gayle live and missed some of the early years for OJ, but watching the films they had that slide to them and long stride. They both looked like men playing against boys. -
I was WRONG about Josh Allen
machine gun kelly replied to Zerovoltz's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Jackson has been fun to watch and I wish the best for him just like Mahomes. I gave up on the why didn’t we take Mahomes the year before. You can make these same arguments on Russel Wilson. This team has been built the right way. I love Allen and want him to be what I think he can be, and can have long term success. Jackson deserves every accolade he receives. If I were a Ravens fan, I would wonder can he sustain these mobility skills for the next 12 years, or will he develop into an amazing pocket passer. Early signs are yes, but we’ll see. Allen has the skills to have a very long runway with this team. -
I was WRONG about Josh Allen
machine gun kelly replied to Zerovoltz's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Zero, you’re not alone which is why I’ve continued and I still say I’m cautiously optimistic. I love the kid and believe he will do it. I never slammed the pick, I just wanted to wait and see. We’ve been burned so many times where we can go from Todd Collins all the way to EJ and Tyrod. -
NG, nice stab at it, but after the Raiders beat the Saints Monday night, would you have put them higher? I agree with you’re top four as you qualified the AFC only which a few people didn’t see, but for this conference I like it. It’s so early it’s hard to figure out who is better between TN, NE, and the Raiders.
-
Im in agreement with you on Josh. They then need to extend Edmunds. I think the rule is you can only offer one player a fifth year option on a team even if there were multiple first rounders, but could be wrong. Then again, you can always just let Edmunds go to the fourth year, Allen the year after given the cap reduction and make Milano the priority. That’s you’re next three years with decent contracts.
-
If I’m Darnold, I’d wait to see if Gase gets fired mid year, and see who Douglas finds for a replacement. If not happy, just hold out, and push for release or trade if they place the 5th year option on him. The Steelers, Colts, or Broncos could be options. He could also if he doesn’t mind sitting for a year go to the Bucs, Brady retires after next year, and Darnold learns behind a HOF QB and then plays on a very talented team. Lots of options as NO could also be an option. Darnold must secretly be pissed Mahomes, Allen, amd Mayfield have teams placing all kinds of talent around them, and the Jets are a hot mess.

Not expecting to see Edmunds or Milano this week
machine gun kelly replied to Rubes's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
That’s a misnomber as common opponents is another important tie breaker. You’re not alone as a lot of people say well, make sure you win you’re AFC games, but in some scenarios, common opponents can be a big factor. -
As long as you have knuckleheads like these guys trying to do anything they can for a .1 of 1 rating point, they will say these moronic things and keep slanting to for their agenda. Just keep saying these things, Josh can keep playing at a top level now, amd look stupid and have you’re comments come back to bite you in the ars.

Adam Schein must have loved writing this
machine gun kelly replied to BruceVilanch's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Schein loves to stir up the pot, and even more take shots at his colleagues which is why he is pretty popular on the various outlets in TV, Radio, and Print. I used to call into his show when he was on NFLR and was always pretty funny. Thanks for sharing Bruce. I never would have picked this out.
