Week 10: Bills at Cardinals
machine gun kelly replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Rubes, I’ll add to that point. They only played two teams with winning records in Seattle and Miami and lost to Miami. The rest of their wins were against losing teams. That’s fine as they don’t choose their schedule, and just because they are #1 in offense and we are 12th, it goes back to their opponents. They haven’t played the Raiders, Chiefs, or Titans. This is by no means a gimme and I see this being another shootout where we can win 35-32, but until proven otherwise, I’m taking the Bills on this one. After this game, our next monster opponent that makes me a little nervous is the Steelers. God, they are good. -
What were you doing in 1993?
machine gun kelly replied to Royale with Cheese's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I was starting my first professional position as I just graduated from my undergrad., starting graduate school at night, competing as a powerlifter, and bar tending on weekends as I started out as a teacher before I went into business. -
Jay, you had to bring that Kroft non pick. I’m still pissed about that one. I’ve never seen a worse call other than the Saints wrong call in the playoffs two years ago. As far as this play, Colts fans have every right to be upset, but there is some argument because the three steps could be inferred as a catch. To me, I think it was an incomplete pass/interception.

My condolences to Josh for his loss. Maybe it’s me, but I don’t understand a go fund me campaign for the family of a multi million $ QB, who most likely will get in two years a $40 mil./yr. contract. I’m not cheap, I’d just rather give my donation $ to a place like the Hildren’s Home down here, or Shriners, etc.

Is Tua hype the new Darnold hype?
machine gun kelly replied to whatdrought's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
This is overreaction time again. It is just far too early to make any decisions on Tua. He’s had injuries, but so did Drew Brees. He’s only 6 foot tall, but so is Mayfield, Wilson, and Brees. He’s only played in two games in the NFL. He was excellent when playing at Alabama, but then again a number of QB’s from Alabama never made it in the NFL. My point is simply Allen was prejudged before the draft, his first year, second year, and even this year when the team fell back after KC. The kid has played two games, and I don’t see making many judgements until he’s finished the end of next year. Then if not hurt will have played 24 games and it will be easier to make some assertions about him. Heck he could get hurt and get knocked out of for several games maybe even more than once, or he could okay lights out for 24 games. -

He accessorizes well (at least that’s what his wife tells me). 😏 -
Is Tua hype the new Darnold hype?
machine gun kelly replied to whatdrought's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Drought, I wouldn’t be concerned about it. Who cares what the media says on their non stop shows making bad calls. It’s why I’m selective to who I trust. I’ll listen to different shows and like Movin the chains the most of all venues although press coverage on NFL radio is also very good, but even they get it wrong from time to time. Drought, we win against the Cards and they can’t not call us a great team with Allen at the helm at 8-2. People went nuts over Deshaun Watson and most is not his fault at all, but look how they are playing now as a team, not him. -
Patriots will finish maybe 6-10. That’s perfect. Not high enough to get anything fantastic, but keeps them out of the Lawrence or other sweepstakes. Couldn’t happen to a better team and go Pats tonight. Please win! The Jets are so far away from anything real, this is the best outcome. There was no way they had a shot at the East. We have a chance at 8-2, a chance.

Josh Allen now 60% CAREER completion percentage.

Bills' O-Line depth is remarkable
machine gun kelly replied to Inigo Montoya's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
A good point backing this up is Spain gets cut by us, and in three days is a starting Lineman for Cincy. Beane has tried his best on both lines to provide depth. On D, Star was a kick in the teeth, but we’re managing. I’m so impressed not with run blocking as we have room to improve, but pass pro has been excellent. Josh May have been sacked 7 times Sunday, but you have to ask was it the line, the QB, or a TE or RB who didn’t chop block. In 2018, remember how fast they were in on Allen as a rookie and he had to take off and run not to get his head knocked off. Sorry guys, chip block. God I hate auto correct. -
Is the Bills window smaller than thought?
machine gun kelly replied to Big Turk's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I agree Shaw. KC did it right as on paper from people that don’t understand the cap just see the $450 mil. for Mahomes, but Mahomes doesn’t even make what Russel Wilson makes now until year 8. No one does a 10 year deal. He’s projected to be the 14th highest QB in five years or so. After next year with the Covid cap, it will go back up and by a lot given additional tv contracts. Mahomes won, and so did KC. -
Falcons waive Takk McKinley (claimed by Raiders)

ALL IS WELL! Love that clip House. Hope you’re leg is feeling better. 😏 -
You’re not AT ALL Kwai. I never had a big issue with Jopoy, but this is over the top. Differ in you’re opinion, but he’s been doing this a long time, and Virgil is usually if not always spot on on most points. I respectfully disagree with Virgil occasionally, but Inever make it personal. You overstepped. Virgil, as always, thanks for you’re write up, as I always enjoy pay them. Never 100% agree, but you take a lot of thoughtful time each Sunday night to do it. I missed it this morning as it was buried in several other threads. He won’t. He has thick skin.

Kwai, thanks as I stand corrected. I looked down and my man Virg was about 20 posts down. I stand corrected. Thank you for letting me know.

Week 10: Bills at Cardinals
machine gun kelly replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Just listening to Sal on his spot, and even though I caught two games of the angry birds this year as my son likes them since he was 7, I didn’t notice as much the Cards have a tendency to play a 0-6-5 defense like the Pats tried against us. This could be another Pats game where I’m not a fantasy guy, but could be a good Moss/Singletary day. The birds are better against the pass. I still think the return finally to health of Brown and Feliciano is a big thing for our offense. Not sure if Morse will make it back and truly hope he is ok with all of those concussions. If by chance he can and wants to come back, this line will look even better. -
Shaw, every Monday morning, my high point on this board is you’re Rockpile Review, amd Virg’s post. Both of you provide all of us with such thoughtful and fair balanced reviews from a true Bills fan. Agreed on almost all points, but would add we don’t know it then, but Miami is a good team. They played really well against Arizona. You’re comments though on the ascension to playing like a good team was so on point. Oh and Virg., haven’t seen yours yet. You’re slipping buddy. 😂😏

Week 10: Bills at Cardinals
machine gun kelly replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
It’s not going to happen. The state and nation’s economy is still terrible, the Pegulas are projected to be $360 mil. light in their businesses combined, the NFL teams alone all lost a ton of $ with no fans, so that likelihood is not for a few years at least. Nothing will be decided until the lease is up and maybe not even at that point. I’m sure the Pegulas want to do it, and have been preparing for a downtown stadium, but they couldn’t have predicted nor could anyone this pandemic. As far as the Cardinals, it looks like it will be another shootout. -
Challenge Specialist for McDermott

Every team in the league has analytics guys/gals, and that is part of their job. They also run the numbers of when to go for it on 4th and short, etc. -
Thanks for sharing Limeaid. It really did feel great yesterday. I’m surprised Tampa played that bad. I expected a tight game and last drive by either team wins it. This was embarrassing. I don’t know about all of you, but yesterday gave me some hope we can and should beat the Cards. They are a darn good team, but so are we when we play like yesterday.
