  1. Bragger. Glad you had a good weekend. Sounds like a little extra in the stockings for the kiddos this week when Santa comes to town.
  2. I thought it was funny. Sounds like we have some guys who don’t know how to dance. Thanks for sharing OP, amd MJS, there is something wrong with you if you don’t like the Shout Song. Just kidding. You’re prerogative.
  3. The issue is you’re hearing with no fans what has been mostly been said all along. I’m not sure he was just pissed the ball wasn’t caught vs. being pissed at Cousins. Probably, but when I played, f bombs were not that uncommon. Usually not directed at their QB, but it happens. Then again, I blew it once when I truly didn’t mean to when I dropped a deadlift in a meet as it slipped out of one hand, and I instantly regretted it, not to mention the booing from fans. My point is simply these guys are competitors and sometimes just without thinking scream out an obscenity in anger.
  4. A good man knows when to change gears. Well done Mango. Now that we’re farther into the year, it’s clear this is a very different team, amd a different year for the league so it’s hard to compare previous years. We all do it, but I’ve come to realize we’re treading on different ground.
  5. Well, as of now he’s pushed his career completion % up to 61.2%, amd if you just take his 4000, and divide by 14, then avg. out the next two, Allen will be up to 4573 yards for the year. His lifetime professional % will go up too, and maybe these schmuck talking heads just cannot keep saying Allen is garbage or not to be trusted, etc. OP, I like how you keep this thread going each week so thanks bud.
  6. Jkeerie, I’m finally at the point where I agree with you on this team vs. the glory one. I’m not old enough to know how the AFL Champion Bills with Kemp and Gilchrist, but things weren’t as public. I remember the SB Bills of the late 80’s and 90’s, and the bickering between on TV between Jimbo and Thurmon blaming each other for mistakes. I also remember Polian, not Marv havin a direct conversation with them basically telling them to cut it out. They did and they grew from it. My Dad has a family friend who used to clean the plane the Bills took on away games. I can’t remember the airlines he worked for at the time, but as you can speculate, the back of the plane was a mess with what, liquor, tons of beer cans, and so on, and so on. Guess who used to sit in that section, yep, Jimbo, Thurmon, Bruce and company. Now I don’t care about guys blowing off steam, but this team now is so buttoned up, Beane and McD built the culture so this would never happen. We have a special team now, that is not only balanced in all three phases of the game, has a great culture, no bickering nor infighting we know of at least, and as soon as Lsain became disgruntled, he was shown the door. It was quick and respectful of the player. As far as the game Virg.,well written as always and it shows you wait to stay on key. You reminded me it was Bill from NYC (that was a nice touch) who started this weekly thread. We owe you Bill. As far as the point not being afraid of any other team, I see in the near future as the mystic from the East, the Great Carnac the Magnificent. The Bills stand toe to toe with the Mighty Chiefs in the AFCC, and Josh Allen drives the Bisons of the East down on the last drive with an acrobatic catch by Diggs, and wha la, The Bills are going back to the SB! sim sala bim. The Great Carnac has spoken. That was for you oh great one Bill from NYC.
  7. Not grey yet, but have fond memories of those days and even further when Knox turned around a beaten down team to win the AFCE back in 80. I normally don’t like very long posts (yes I’m guilty of them too from time to time), but this was worth reading twice. Thanks Chevy!
  8. Well NG, the record is the Bears in 1940 beat the Red....., 73-0 for the Championship. I heard it on NFLR this morning, and then looked it up so I’m kind of hoping for 74, if that’s even possible. Destroy Belichick! Oh and have the backups in the second half.
  9. Don’t forget Plymouth Rock after that nice Grandpa pic on Thanksgiving (the best dad holiday given eating turkey and watching football all day). One last thing, IT’S GAMEDAY!!!!!!!!!!! Go Bills! 17-3 BABY!!!!
  10. God bless ya Don! It’s early but how about the best xmas present in us making the playoffs today. Next we not only win the East, but get the second seed when the Stiller stumble next week. I’ll bet $20 on the Colts. Then until the AFCC, all roads go through Orchard Park.
  11. Showoff. What are you Elmer J. Fudd, “I am a millionaire, I own a mansion and a yacht”, AGAIN”.
  12. That he writes in studder. And the Morlocks from the Time Machine. Flesh eating bastages.
  13. I thought Kohlinahr was that phrase from Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom, oh wait, that was Kalimah. You know when he rips you’re heart out like Ralph and Russ for 17 god awful years, amd yes Ridge, it was Kwipke. Thank you fow cowwecting me. God that show was funny on so many wayeyas.
  14. This is politics. He’s pandering to try and tell upstate folks he’s on our side, and then pawns off responsibility. It doesn’t matter that other states have let 10-13,000 fans in the stadium and recently saw through contact tracing no worse than general public interactions. I personally won’t go, but you guys should have the right to go if you want the opportunity, god bless. Anyway, staying away from anything more on COVID. Ihope you guys get a nice Xmas present with this stuff.
  15. You sound like Kripke from Big Bang. Wood definitwe cwy fow a SBowl victowy. I can see myself on my knees outswide the Tampa SBowl fow that Nowwood kick like when I moved hewe in 1991 fow days befowe the SBowl in 91. That was heartbreaking for all of us, but this time, I will be in the fetal position if we actually win it this time. As BB says we’re onto Cincy, so let’s win tomorrow and figure out the Pats after Sunday at dinner. Not lying as the Bills are now in my daily prayers.
  16. Don, you know Pluto is not a planet anymore per my scientific source (the Big Bang theory). Ball busting is an art form amongst good friends. Difference between guys and girls. Not one better than the other, but my closest friends would bust ba..s, and if not mean spirited would always laugh it off.
  17. Ive said the same multiple times. We keep winning, Pitt loses to the Colts so we play our starters in week 17, or maybe anyway hoping the Browns beat the Stillers as they are not the same old Browns. We get home field barring a miracle until KC, and that’s it. Beat the Chiefs in their house fans or not or limited, and we can beat any NFC team. Perfect scenario. Besides don’t you want to go into week 17 12-3, and the game matters either way. I hated we gave up 11-5 by playing healthy scratch backups amd didn’t help us at all in Houston.
  18. I think they’ll figure a way to keep Williams. If Morse restructures as was stated above, and Kroft goes, certainly Murphy will go, and possibly one other defensive lineman as Star will be back, then they may find $ for Williams. An intact O Line is excellent for Allen. We may lose Hughes as well if he doesn’t take a much lower contract. He probably will as he knows he’ll be 32, he never is out, amd he is still functioning well. There is just so much he does beyond sacks.
  19. It is so difficult to take one to the house these days, but the field position he provides so valuable to the team. I’ll have to check it on demand. I’ve heard him on NFLR and he was very articulate in his interview.
  20. I like are line for what we developed in Dawkins, Boettger, Morse, Feliciano, and man Williams really proved himself last week against Watt. We may have a tough call on Morse next year, but for this run, I like it the way we have it right now.
  21. The OP picked most and agree. I’d only add as we had no preseason games this year, that now that there are changes coming, allowing fans, and have 1-2 pre-season games (not .... thing just fans back in stands would be great). Pre-season games by only having 1-2 is long enough to make an evaluation on players. I’d like UDFA’s getting their chance to prove themselves. I think we would’ve known Dane Jackson would’ve shined in those games and maybe made it in the field earlier in the season. I would bet lower drafted players, and UDFA’s would end up making up most of the team in that 1-2 games. I know they didn’t vote for a 17th game at the recent meeting, but I think something was mentioned in NFLR they approved the rules for if they had17 games. You can tell this is coming. Even if they had only 1 pre-season game, and a 17th game, with these new changes with expanded practice squad, players of any veteran status allowed on PS, and a flexible IR policy would make it easy to make those changes. I would like just for the enjoyment a regular double header for MNF. Nice part is more teams get Nat’l attention so helps everyone and the whole we can’t have before 8:30 pm due to the west coast gets thrown out. 7 and 9 pm for East to Central time zone teams early, and central to west play the late game. T, W, and F would be too much. Saturday games were always there and hope that stays once the college season ends. I can’t wait fir the Saturday game this week and we can enjoy other things on a Sunday. Anyway, good football topic.
  22. Gugs, I think you’re being a little tough on Lamar and Tua. Tua’s just getting started, so remember how many flashes coupled with bonehead hero ball mistakes Allen made in his first year. As far as Lamar, teams are figuring him out, but it’s not like the Ravens stink. They just took a step back and much of the speculation was allowing those TE’s to leave was a bigger mistake than they thought. I was surprised as they okayed more 13 personnel than anyone in the league when they were 14-2 last year. As far as the AFC, they definitely have much more promising younger ascending QB’s than the NFC. For the NFC, I se Kyler continuing to grow, I don’t see Wilson as on the back 9 as he has a lot of good years ahead of him if they fix that defense, Bridgewater is playing a team rebuilding, but that’s about it. We’ll see what the NFC does in the draft. I definitely think on a related topic to this that the AFC is a much better conference this year, and the QB’s have a lot to do with it.
