Chan my man, the problem isn’t defense, nor is it our O Line. It our offense. We’ve been running better, 12 is working ok, but we’re not efficiently using 11 personnel like we did under Daboll. If you look at the handshake after the game, there is no love lost on McD and Dabbs. I’m not quick to say fire the HC or the OC, but something has to improve. If we barely score 14 pts against one of the worst defenses in the NFL, I’m concerned for the playoff teams. Contrary what some say about me, I’m not Pollyanna and see problems. One area I disagree with McBeane is in the bigger matchups, I want to see much more designed runs from Allen. It places defenses on their toes.

We’re 3rd in the league on defense against points at 14.8. Nuff said

Albany, the good news is it s a 1pm game so easy to go to a bar that has the ticket. It’s not a 4 pm, but not showing or something. If you’re a church guy, for me it’s church, gym, clean up, bar. What I hate is a 4 pm game, but not televised. Who the hell wants to be in a sports bar from 4:20 to 7:30 on a Sunday. For us that’s family dinner night.

Ethan, that is the exception, not the norm, and they had to learn usually safety as corners get slower with age, they convert to safety. It doesn’t mean any corner can play Safety and the reverse. They are different jobs with different responsibilities. Ithink it was Aaron Williams who eventually converted, but took him time.

I encourage you to get Pat Kirwan’s book, “First, take your eye off the ball” and read it, as you evidently don’t understand football. I’m seriously not picking on you, but a Wil LB is a completely different role than an Edge Rusher. They have different jobs, and you’re not different than guys who think CB’s can play Safety and vise versa. Those are different jobs as well.
