  1. Do you mean the Zay Jones who is still starting for the Jags. Or Teller, or Milano, you know that 1st team all pro LB. What about the acquisitions of Hyde, Poyer, Diggs, Morse, pro bowler Dawkins, acquiring the immovable force Daquan Jones, this year Poona, Settle a solid 1 tech DT, and I can keep going. You carry picked to support a biased agenda for a GM who is one of the best in the league as examples by the experts. You don’t look at just some draft picks and make dumb claims. You didn’t even add Edmunds who is a multi pro bowler. A team and GM is not evaluated with incomplete information, not to mention not even a complete post.
  2. That’s the spirit! Im trying to be pragmatic with the following teams: Jets 2nd game Begals Philly Chiefs Dallas These are legitimate playoff caliber teams and maybe add one to the Fush games. How will we fare in those games in particular? If we remain healthy as last year was uncharacteristic for this team under McBeane. Cam anyone who is a very knowledgeable Bills fan think the other games are at high risk. The Bucs, Commanders, Cheats. If you have concerns you need to grow a pair. Cowboy up as we are going to light the NFL on fire in the beginning and it show far can we keep this momentum going. We won’t win them all, but the more playoff type teams we can get the W will determine our year.
  3. FINALLY, the competitive spirit is coming out from not just the Bills, but our true Bills fans! Up until a couple of days ago, Inwas getting so disappointed in some of the posters who I know are not Jets trolls, but real Bills and been Debbie downers. You’d think we were 3-13, bit 13-3 last year. We are going to kick some ars this year, and watch us come out fast! We will be 3-1 to 4-0 going to London. I expect wins over the Jags and Giants. We still have a solid chance of beating the Cheats, and Bucs. So I fully expect 7-1 going into Cincy. Then it gets tough with Cincy, winnable games in the Broncos and Jets (this one I think will be very tough as Rodgers will be in a rhythm). Then there are more of murderers row with Philly, KC, and Dallas. We have to have serious momentum going into murderers row. We can do it. You true Bills fans have to BILLIEVE!
  4. John, I agree the hype train has been all over Miami and the Jests, but no one wants to acknowledge the steady acquisitions and additions, as well as return of top flight players like Tre, Hyde, and Poyer. Im laughing as well see in 10 days who is the better team and I lay $ it’s the Bills. 12-5 to 13-4! That’s my prediction.
  5. Sammy, I’ll bite when he has a season less than 100 catches for less than 1000 yards and not until that time. It’s not just his skills, but by some of the experts at places like PFF and others is one of the best route runners in the league, and a beast in the contested catches dept. Guys like Hill will come back to Earth over 30 as he relies so much on speed or Ted Gunn. Guys like OBJ and D Hop are still sought after because they possess qualities like Diggs, yet Diggs has been far less injured over his career. You know it’s ok to get excited about the season. Where I’ll go along with you guys is we need a breakout year from Davis, Sherfield, or Harty, and maybe two. On the WR side we need it and we need the TE’s to produce. I believe they will hence my excitement. If hate to live my life like some on the board who are pessimistic, because they don’t want to be let down. Not every negative Nelly is s troll. Some people are just afraid to be let down. I’ve been successful in business as I acknowledge realities, but focus on strengths. It’s fared well for me over the decades. I can’t wait for 9/11. If spectrum doesn’t fix their issue, I’ll have ti go ti a sports bar to do it.
  6. Nah, just have him show this to Milano before the game. He’ll come in like a heat seeking missile. I believe Fare was about 40 at that point too. My prediction for Aaron Darkness Retreat Wacky Tabacky Roger’s…
  7. Some of you may have heard this either today or yesterday morning on WGR, but the Bills have 16 players claimed off waivers meaning they go on another teams active roster. That’s #1 in the NFL during the McBeane era. Second, we are at the top along with the Bengals returning the most players from 22 to 23. These are objective data points, not opinions. He was named GM of the year two years ago by his peers on the GM side, and now has been rated by agents as one of the most trustworthy GM’s to work with in the league. For some, nothing is ever good enough and want to only cherry pick whatever agenda they are pushing to support their biases.
  8. Joe and Jeremy were talking about that this morning. Between that character and Steve Buscemi, so many jokes. So many you tube clips.. Hopefully he gets his eyes checked before the season starts.
  9. The players can vote for whoever they believe are their leaders. McD doesn’t hand pick them. It’s the way the locker room is supposed to be.
  10. Or go to a bar. My wings sports place is .8 miles from my house and with their satellite I’ll get it. Problem solved.
  11. VW, it’s not just blocking and our G’s were the major problem. That’s most likely fixed. Torrence, McGovern, and Edwards are upgrades over that turn style Saffold. 12 doesn’t just help there bud. 12 provides a mismatch for opposing defenses like ours that runs a nickel defense. They have 6’5” 240 lbs. guys coming at them vs. small slot WR’s. This is a monster mismatch. This is what Beane has been trying to create for 4 years. I finally splurged with a 1st RD pick. Diigs is fine and had 1500 yards last season. In what universe has he dropped off?
  12. I’m finally in a spot to comment. Everything I’ve read from Inigo, Success, and the above was spot on. Im incredibly excited about this offense, but the defense will a,so be better in many ways. Yes, we have the question mark at MLB, but it’s somewhat of tunnel vision on the board and in the media. Edmunds was not Ray Lewis in his prime. He’s a good MLB, but we of all places have room for flexibility here. Milano is still a 1st team all pro, our pass defense minus last year with all the injuries was top 3 for the McDermott era. Prior to 22, Hyde and Poyer played 95% of the snaps back to 2017. Tre is back and will be fantastic, and either Dane, Benford, or Elam will manage the CB2. Taron is considered a top 3 nickel, but here is the change. For 12 personnel offenses and heavy run offenses we have Rapp, our biggest safety who is young and talented to bolster and stop these offenses. Floyd had 29 sacks in 3 years amd will be joining GROOT, and 4 weeks later will get HOFer Von to menace QB’s. We are going with speed at the Mic, so that’s the least likely to be a problem in the defense. For those that don’t know Poona Ford, prior to 22 was an effective penetrating DT. He just didn’t fit into the NT in a 3-4 which is what Seattle switched to in 22. Im only elaborating on defense as I can’t add anything more than I man, success, and Inigo has already stated to start this off. Guys, stop watching ESPN, and hot takers on FSN, and so on. So my point to Aaron, let me come out of the dark with wacky tabaccy on 9/11, from the iconic philosopher, Mike Tyson. “Everyone’s got a plan until they get punched in the face” 40 yr old Aaron, prepare to get punched early and often by the heat seeking missile that is Matt Milano. Ping, Pang, Pao! Well see what the moron pundits have to say on 9/12.
  13. I am just going to soak in my six fingered friend’s comments added to Success and others before Oadd my two cents as I agree 1 mil. % of everything written here on this thread so far! More to come as I’d say there is a lot more positive to also add on the defense with only one ? area.
  14. Three might be it brother as they probably will add a QB tomorrow now that Barkley is out for the year.
  15. ‘I knew the problem and appreciate the logistics on dressing 8. I still think it was a creative solution as you can have Vandemark, Bates/Edwards, and Ifedi dressed. Meaning you have to pick who’s your interior backup. You can’t have both. Losing two interior guys on the fly in a game is rare. If happens, the outside have spot duty that could get us through it. I can’t speak to the rest as I plan to listen to the rest of the cast tomorrow morning.
  16. And the same vocal significant minority wouldn’t stop talking about how horrible Edmunds was the last four years.
  17. Chandman, thanks for sharing. I only had time to listen to the Ifedi portion, but he made some good points we have LT backup in vander whatever, Edwards and Bates for the inside. It’s not optimal as a left and right backup not the same guy, but that’s fine. BTW- Chand let’s finally get that game together for the Fish on 10/1. We can DM. If anyone else is around Orlando, we can have a mini TBD get together. Not too many 1pm games to plan.
  18. You mean firemen like this … Dude, stop watching ESPN. This is the hype train running you over on NYJ and the Fish. We are a much stronger team this year over last year with more depth in so many areas.
  19. I was talking about Willis on a late day trade, and both yours and my guy are developmental opportunities. I agree with the Movin the. Chains guys discuss. They evaluated the whole NFL, and we have the franchise guy in Josh, whether you like it or not the backup to fill in has been decided by McBeane os Kyle. The 3rd should be a developmental guy. My choice is trade for Willis. Yours is Cunningham. The idea is franchise, fill in experienced guy, and a developmental guy.
  20. hey bud, my hope is it’s not a journeyman as we have that in Kyle. A developmental guy like Malik Willis as he can take two to three years to develop and TN has another QB to groom. Willis is athletic but very raw. He could develop over three years, and by year 4 of his rookie contract, and we could extend him on quality backup $. He could eventually be our #2. My point is get a young athletic QB who are guys can work with over time.
  21. Exactly, the running game keeps opposing defenses honest, but it’s not the cornerstone of our offense. Some make it sound like we were 26th in rushing on 22. They are off by 20 spots. We were 6th. It’s just overshadowed by our passing game. Think of Harris and Murray as one guy who will take turns staying fresh throughout the year for the banging part band Cook will last the whole season as our scat back. Kareen Humt and the other old guys are just Jags at this point. It’s why he, Fornette and others are still on the street.
  22. that's why it’s called PS. They get hurt and no big deal. If he could be depth for us, great.
  23. I hear Peteans available, wait another pic. The game hasn’t even started. Wait another.
  24. Doc, I think some people have done zero he on Poona from his time in Seattle. Seattle went to a 3-4 and he became invisible which is why he asked to be released. Carrol is a decent coach at the end of the day, but the couple years prior he was an effective 1 tech in a 4-3. He’s a sound backup for Oliver and Phillips. Phillips is effective, but odds on favorite he doesn’t make it 18 weeks.
