Guys, isn’t it so nice to wake up on a Saturday, we just beat the SB Champs (well actually routed them even with four turnovers from us), we found out our revamped D Line is even better than expected, only one injury, and he even said it’s not that bad. The world is good. Just sit back, have a fun Saturday with friends and family, have fun watching the games, and the stars are aligned. The only bad thing from a fandom side is 11 days feels like an eternity.

What games are you interested to watch this weekend?
machine gun kelly replied to Steptide's topic in The Stadium Wall
whoops, I must have scanned too fast. Thanks for the correction. Now that Dabbs and Schoen are there, I’m kind of rooting for a slow, but steady turnaround. Hopefully they’ve received enough of our players to give them a little lift. I think Daboll needs three years and really good choices between he and Schoen, but can hopefully follow a similar path that McBeane did from 17 to now. What the heck? They are in the opposite conference and the worst division in the NFL. Lastly, the two owning families are not usually fast trigger pullers so should give them some time. The Jets don’t have a chance. -

I have serious doubts about the Giants, but I’ll follow the, to see if they can stand up to the Ravens. I doubt it. I have to stick with a fellow Frannies guy. Fish yes, as I want the Media to bang the drum on is BB washed up? It would be fun to see Mayfield beat his Browniies as I have no respect for their decisions on Watson even though I understand the business reason. He’s pond scum. the Bucs always interests me as I live here and hate Dallas. Both O Lines suck with these injuries and retirements. Bottom Line. THE NFL IS BACK! LIFE IS GOOD! -
James Cook is going to be a major problem
machine gun kelly replied to 78thealltimegreat's topic in The Stadium Wall
He’ll be ok. He had first game jitters. He’ll be fine. McD will sit him down, and get him to relax. Never get too excited or low on a guy. Just as I’m elated from last night, it’s not like we won’t have to fight through some wins. -
This has to be the deepest dline we’ve ever had

Earlier someone made a good comment, but is something some don’t notice, Jones was a wall. That interior made the edge guys look great as they were pressuring the pocket all night. Stafford 7 Sacks 15 Hits 3 Ints That was a clinic. -
Ken Dorsey with a tremendous debut
machine gun kelly replied to Big Blitz's topic in The Stadium Wall
That’s again because of Josh. They reported last night, Josh got the ball out for the whole night as an avg. of 2.2 seconds. That mutes Donald. -
For me, I like what Sal stated about how the Bills approach injuries. He has referenced many times it’s better to air on the side of caution and make sure he’s completely healthy. If he is not 100%, let him sit for TN. It’s a long season. We’ll need him for the Ravens, Chiefs and Packers.

Who is your surprise impact player of the game?
machine gun kelly replied to NORWOODS FOOT's topic in The Stadium Wall
No, but I believe Cook was jerseyed up so that might be the initial surprise for five or six targets. They hid him in the preseason. No worries. We’ll see him brother. I have no doubt we will be surprised several weeks. What a testament to our depth. -

He’s inactive brother. No jersey for him today. -
What is everyone doing for food for tomorrows game?

Ive heard that’s an issue for guys that yell to get off their lawn. 😏🤪🏈🏋️♀️🦬🤼♂️ 10 garlic hot. Ooh baby they were good. I actually have a Tampa place that is good for wings. One of the owners was originally from Buff. Funny as another restaurant has a Buff. Guy who makes the best non-Buffalo, beef on weck. He uses prime rib with real weck rolls. im writing this and almost want a second dinner. -

Barley, that’s all posters everywhere. We don’t know what the coaches see in camp. I don’t think people are saying, “well they did well in preseason, then they will do well in the season”. I’m not. I’m saying this staff has a history of developing people over a few years. You could’ve said the same thing about, Dane, Bates, Boettger, etc. because we don’t know. What I trust though is this staff and what they did show was solid. You know I’m not normally against you, but we as a crew only know what we see, read, and watch. That’s why we’re called fans. You’re absolutely right though Amy of these safeties can fall on their face. You can’t replace Hyde and Poyer and not thing there is some drop off, but you also for Beane have to make wise long term financial decisions. Poyer will be 32 at the end of the year. What would you do, but if you’re giving Poyer $16-18 mil, who are you cutting? I think that’s what some have resolved to in that the cap is real and they can only play so much gymnastics. I’d rather extend a DT who could be excellent as he’s developed every year. He also could be with us for another 6-7 years. As much as I love Poyer, that’s not happening. Just like I seriously doubt that Von Miller is really a 3 year contract, and then we’ll see. -
Go BOLD - 2022 NFL Bold Predictions
machine gun kelly replied to GunnerBill's topic in The Stadium Wall
Thanks Zero. That’s why I typically defend you because you are a respectful KC fan, that likes our board from time to time. I do think the Chiefs will be better than some are projecting as some of our guys make emotional takes. These two teams though are very evenly matched even without Hill. We’ll find out in the next 6 months. For me, you’re always welcome on this board from my perspective. I do think you’re division is going to beat the crap out of each other this season. It used to be the NFCW was considered the best in class division, but between yours and to some degree the AFCN, will canibalize each other. The good news is you’ll be battle tested come the playoffs as will the Bills. -
One last point is just like when you balanced out the contract for Knox with the low cap hit this year just as many of you mentioned in the past the Dawkins, Milano, and Tre contracts, they look more reasonable. If you take his $53.6 mil. + his current salary of $2.745 mil., it actually starts to look a little better over five years of $11.269 mil./yr.. He will be by the end of this contract a Bill for 8 years, and still only 30. I love what Beane has done, trying to key pieces to extend early as the price tag almost always goes up.
-
I think they will just let it play out on Edmunds, Poyer, and Singletary. I doubt Poyer will accept what we offer as much as I wish he would. Edmunds is a wait and see. Singletary will get a modest offer, but he may shop the market. The next two to get signed will be Oliver and then Davis. If Oliver plays like I expect in next to Von and company, he’s going to command a significant contract. That places Davis into play and we’ll have to see if Beane can squeeze enough for him or he may go. We won’t be able to give him a $20 mil./yr. Contract. I really want Beane to find a way, but they have extended the right guys these last two years to date.

AFC Division Winners Buffalo Bills Baltimore Ravens Indianapolis Colts LA Chargers Wildcard KC Chiefs Denver Broncos Cincinnati Bengals NFC Division Winners Philly Iggles GB Packers NO Saints LA Rams NFC Wildcard Tampa Bucs SF 49ers (I’m iffy on this one as it’s how quickly do they come off Lance to Jimmy G) Detroit Lions - I know bold, but it’s possible. AFC Championship Chargers at Bills NFC Championship NO saints at LA Rams SB BILLS vs. Rams Bills win their 1st SB, and the party goes on for a week straight bender. Old timers crying to finally see our Bills hoist the Lombardi. My Dad just turned 92 and he’s been a huge Bills fan since the foolish 8, and before as he actually remembers the post WW2 Bills for a couple of years. He’s the one I want to see this for more than anyone. He’s in the NYS HOF for Baseball and Softball, has bowled a 300 game, has 3 hole in ones, and is for my siblings and I our hero. I’m sure all our dads want this one so Bills team, win it for the old timers!! 20-0 Baby! GO BILLS!! -

I doubt it. As these contracts lately have gone out of control. Unless he’s willing to take a two year extension at a reasonable rate like $11 mil. Per, and I doubt he will take that deal, they’ll let him test the market next season. With the development of our two backup safeties, the plan is probably a succession plan McBeane have made. -
Stefon Diggs is better than Cooper Kupp
machine gun kelly replied to extrahammer's topic in The Stadium Wall
These debates are like a chipping of stones in a pond competition. They are both top end WRs. They are both clear #1 WRs. I like Diggs for a variety of reasons, but mostly I love the contested catch ability. He’s one of the best in the league. -
Zach Wilson out until at least week 4
machine gun kelly replied to Greg S's topic in The Stadium Wall
It’s better they air on the side of caution so he’s 100%. Besides, it’s not like they will be good this year. It’s going to take time for those new talents to gel. They have at least another year or two. -
I called into MTC yesterday on NFLR, and they spoke to this point on how many are still in the league. A small group of people think they are smarter than real GM’s, but look at track records. BB is a horrible GM, but an excellent coach in the past. Beane and McD are a great combo. They have similar vision, are aligned up and down the line, and they have developed along with the assistants Josh and others. The fact that we have that many players who develop over three years into starters is impressive.
