Lamar’s legs are going to wear down eventually. If Lamar doesn’t learn to play more like the others, he’s not going to have a 17 year career. Burrow needs to throw it away. His line sucked last year, and didn’t look much better in week 1, but he contributes to all of those sacks as well. That’s going to kill him if he doesn’t learn to throw away or check down. Just because you can throw it 20 yards accurately, sometimes, it’s better to just dump it to you’re RB.

Not that Mahomes doesn’t have a great arm and creative, but Allen and Herbert have the bigger arm. Allen is better angry runner than Herbert. These are the three best young QB’s in football. Tier 2 is Burrow (it’s partially his fault for all of those sacks) and Lamar. Lamar is freakish athlete, but can’t hold a candle in passing to the above QB’s. Get used to these five for the next decade. Brady and Rodgers a little later are Sun setting, and if Hackett continues to be that bad of a play caller, RW is going nowhere.

Settle will be fine and so will Ed. They are not injury prone, just it’s football. Henry was not the reason we lost in 2020, it was AJ Brown and Tanny. Last year Henry had 76 yards on one run, and 19 for 67. D. Jones and J Phillips will be fine and they have days to heal up.

First, no team scares me. The Fins proved not how good they are, but how pathetic the Pats are on offense and defense. The Chiefs and Chargers are the real deal, but last night the Broncos showed they are not. Not because they lost, but that was ugly football. Only the Chiefs and Chargers are playing close to us, but with that said, the Rams are a much tougher opponent than the Cardinals. The Raiders could be decent so the Chargers did a nice job winning week 1. Thats a loaded question on who are we scared of? What would ever strike fear in the Bills against any team. We haven’t beaten the Chiefs in the playoffs, but we did commandingly beat the Chiefs in Arrowhead during the season last year.

Joe, pump the breaks on J Phillips buddy. He’s a great addition, don’t get me wrong, but the best DT. Brother it takes synergy and Phillips can only play well because he had GROOT or Von next to him, but more importantly the immovable object in Jones or Settle. Jones and Settle’s role does not get the glamour points as they just clog up Linemen, and halt running attacks like they did to a good running team in the Rams. This gives the glory to the 3 tech. Oliver and Phillips, not to mention the speed edge guys to look amazing. Its a unit and as I was talking to the MTC guys yesterday ( they do a Saturday show during the season for us guys who can’t call during the week), and Pat raves about how our 4 backups would be 4 starters on a lot of teams in the NFL, and would be better than those units. He (paraphrassing) said the way Buffalo will be a wrecking crew is McBeane found the right 8 to go wave after wave never getting tired, so opposing O lines will get exposed and worn down. If what we saw TR is a prelude to what we might see in many games this season, it’s going to be a long day for our opponents. Mills commented that it was a great locker room message the Benford was the starting CB, not Elam. I mentioned McD would’ve had to go away from his core and play more man with Elam in at CB. Yeah, I think they are testing out if Bernard can do the job. Benford is a CB, not a free safety. J. Johnson is the future for FS. Oliver will get paid and won’t be cheap. This was a nice gesture by Beane and strategic to keep Poyer happy. If Poyer wins a ring, he is even more marketable around the league. I’d love to keep the guy, and he is one of the absolute best at his position, but his age will preclude when we need the $ for Oliver and Davis. I don’t want to think about the Bills having a team with Hyde and Poyer, but it’s inevitable in 1-2 years. For now, it’s just enjoying the ride for this team, this year. We’ll continue to be a top team, not necessarily the Pats of old, but the histories of the Packs, Steelers, and Ravens. They are in the January dance each year.

Poke, a lot of people were a little harsh on you, it I cannot honestly see that many losses without losing Allen. Even if we god forbid lost Allen, Keenum can win a few games with this loaded team. The Titans have regressed, and we should decisively beat them as the Fins and Steelers. The Steelers have the defense, but their offense is still a ? Harris turned out to be a very good rookie back, but he’ll face a much more stout defensive interior. I’ve yet to see Jones or Settle be moved, and Phillips is fast for a large man. I’ll believe Tua when he proves it against other winning teams. All the weapons in the world without a great QB can only get you so far. The next real test which I believe will be a closer game is the Ravens. They will be back to form from 2019 where they went 12 and 13 personnel, and it will work on a lot of teams. It won’t gainer us. We should win, but it will be a tough game. The two I have no idea are the Chiefs and Packers. We’ll see how championship ready this team is after week 8. Between the Ravens, Chiefs and Packers, we’ll know if we are heading towards the SB.

No. The coaches already know Henry, they see more tape that Quis and Saffold would only give a little color, but that stuff is a bit overrated. These guys do a colonoscopy with analytics etc. maybe the boys can say they think like this or that, but these coaches can already deduce most of these tendencies.
