Josh's foot work in the first qtr - Woof
peterpan replied to Reed83HOF's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I don't see that at all. It looks to me like Josh is locked on Jones. It also wouldn't make sense from a play design perspective to have the first read be the RB whom you just faked a handoff to. It doesn't make sense. Jones has 4 yards on his man at one point, and is already slowing down to come back to an underthrown ball. If you pause the video you'll see that. When your WR beats his man and has 4 plus yards of separation, and is streaking towards the endzone, do you really want him checking down to a RB out of the backfield?? Aaron Rodgers, Peyton Manning, Matt Stafford, thats a TD pass all day long. -

Sure did. Allen maybe the right throw. In most any pass progression you look at your long route first, especially after a fake. Zay Jones was wide open for an easy TD, if it was a good throw. There's no reason to even look at Gore as your 3rs/4th read. -

Not really. I'll give Josh credit, throwing that deep flag route was the right decision, mentally. I'm actually happy to see him throw that instead of the easy flat pass. It's a touchdown right at the pylon if he throws the ball well. But his feet weren't set and he underthrew it. It's a pattern of play he has had since college. His feet are just not consistent. -
Another call with the refs was on a 3rd and 4 play in the second half. Our OL is BLATENTLY holding one of their DL. Their DL then reaches out and grabs Allen SQUARELY on the facemask. The official is maybe 4 yards away watching this entire sequence. Both extremely obvious calls. Both ignored. It should have been offsetting penalties and replay the down, which would have benefited Buffalo. But that's not the point. The point is, why the no call? It was right in front of the ref!!!

Nothing ticked me off more than that offensive pass interference they ignored....even when it was challenged!!!!!!!!¡. The WR makes ZERO attempt at a route, runs and diverts directly at our DB. The. Trips him with his leg. How can you not call that?!??!? EVEN ON REVIEW!!!!! Brady does this many times a game. For whatever reason he has never one time I. His career been called for it until yesterday. And even then they missed even more obvious intentional groundings the rest of the game

With no punishment too! Time to film other teams signals, steal their playsherts, listen in and interfere with their radio broadcasts etc

We are.so bad at RT that it's honestly hard to evaluate anyone else on a pass play. Is Jordan Mills still a FA? I could not have imagined a worse starting RT but we did get worse.

Jerry Hughes versus who for the Patriots?

F THAT. a few late hits early will knock Brady lady right off her game. Continued pressure will scare her like running out of tampons while on a beach vacation!!!! Imagine the sand!!! -
Don't worry, maybe the NFL is planning to Super Bowl them and reffing them into the big game this year. You know, just like they did last year with the Rams, who went from terrible to SB in the three years it took them to announce their move to LA. It was easily predictable that it would happen

We should do it again apparently

Cody Ford personal foul defending Allen

I say take it the other way. It's a 15 yard penalty regardless, launch him ten yards onto his back. Besides we rotate RTs -
https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/30995074 Artificial turf is an important risk factor for specific knee ligament injuries in NCAA football. Injury rates for PCL tears were significantly increased during competitions played on artificial turf as compared with natural grass. Lower NCAA divisions (II and III) also showed higher rates of ACL injuries during competitions on artificial turf versus natural grass. theres more: https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/30452873

Hauschka wants to help Carli Lloyd pursue an NFL career

No offense but kicking a long FG won't get her anywhere. When I played pop warner my dad would set up a ball and kick 65 yard FGs off a T with his old square toed shoes. 64 yards was the NFL record at the time. He was in his 40s. I wondered why he wasn't an NFL kicker!!!! It didn't make sense to a 10 year old kid but it does now. -
NFL.com has him as a G prospect. I wonder what Bean sees him as.

Yes... I'm told as much when I say this is McD and Companies third draft this year. Can't tell you how often I'm told it's only the second.
