Big Bucks next year, what to spend on, what to draft?
peterpan replied to steven50's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I'm just not seeing any studs hitting FA. These days it seems guys are paid or traded. We should be looking into trades like our round 1 for Julio Jones and their round 2. (With the idea being they can't afford to keep him) Missed the boat last year not signing Laundry or this year not trading for Amari Cooper. Bring back Gaines he's on a 1 yr deal in Cleveland -
One thought on the game, in a particular order

I don't get it. The bills draft multiple DBs every year. It hasn't worked very well for us (we've stunk for 20 years). And you are complaining?? Meanwhile T Johnson has looked great (but now injured) and Our two good safety's were FA signings. It seems the bills have done exactly what you wanted and have had no success untill recently. -
Didn't he totally lose his outside contain assignment on one of Henry's ~40 yard TD runs??? Why yes yes he did. Believe it or not, the stiff arm to the face is still legal.
-
You guys are probably over thinking this. Brady knows every players assignment as the QB and he likely knows that white often forgets the play and was reminding him.

The NFL has killed the Golden Goose - ITSELF!
peterpan replied to PUNT750's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Revenue is up because it's not longer just America anymore, it's global. Like no one in America gives a crap about the NBA, it's all China. The NFL is doing the same thing. That's why a company like Nike hires Kaep for a huge marketing campaign. Nike doesn't care that 50% or more of Americans will be offended because they aren't targeting Americans. Nike wants to appeal to Europe and the Chinese and the best way to do that is with someone who speaks poorly of America. -
Bills fans thoughts on our meltdown this year?
peterpan replied to Ice bowl 67's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
McCarthy never even tried to have a running game. Every Packers game was all shotgun formations, and a skinny WR played RB. You need to be able to run the ball. -
Julio Jones and the 2019 Bills
peterpan replied to Estelle Getty's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
If you have a good QB on his rookie contract you MUST spend big money on other positions in hopes of winning a Super Bowl. The ONLY other way to win one is to have a HOF quarterback. -
It was a great throw, but he also had either foster or McKenzie WIDE open underneath on what was a 10-15 yard out. Something tells me this regime doesn't value the OL too highly. I wouldn't expect a huge investment in it this off-season. Like no round 1 or 2 draft pick and no huge FA signing either.

He wasn't amazing. He missed about 8-10 passes which an amazing QB would.only miss 2-3 of those. His passes that weren't perfect cost us the game. Like the miss to wide open Zay Jones in the end zone. And the wobbly ball to Clay. Then there was the long bomb overthrow to Foster. That's three missed TD passes. 17 points. His 2nd int was a bad ball too, KB was open. There were others too. I don't expect him to make every throw but he needs.more of those throws in the future

Allen's Last Pass (12/2): Bad Pass or Drop?
peterpan replied to Gugny's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Bad pass. It lost it's spiral and stalled in the air, forcing Clay to.make a late adjustment and come back to the ball. He could have/should have caught it but it should have been an easy completion with a better ball. -
Charles Clay- the most useless player ever
peterpan replied to NewEra's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
It was a duck pass which stalled in the air and was super under thrown. Not exactly his fault. -
I'm too young to remember a young Steve Young, but Allen reminds me of a young Vince Young.

What time of day do the playoff games start?
peterpan replied to peterpan's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
U sure? I swear they want to like a 3 and 6 start -
I'm trying to plan a party in January, and can't remember when the nfl schedules the game times for. For the playoffs they have games on Saturday and Sunday, but the start times are adjusted. Anyone know the game times on both days?

This incident seems way overblown and not very bad at all. I'm shocked he was released and yes I'd be first in line to sign him. And to all the posters thinking "no way not after that!!". Please keep in mind how you've cheered for McCoy all season and he likely organized a planned and thought-out beating of his ex girlfriend. Like a real assault, that wasn't a heat of the moment thing but we'll planned and thought out.

It's the anthem man. Kneeling for the anthem is inherently offensive/disrespectful. Just like the N word is inherently offensive. And like how water is inherently wet. The anthem has nothing to do with what they are protesting. Nothing at all. If I burnt a cross in my front yard, which I have a right to do as free speech, but I said " no no no it's not offensive bc im just trying to draw attention to the endangered sea turtles" I doubt I'd get the same pass. Now can we please get back to the tpoic of this thread? I think a league like this has serious potential but you need the players. Manziel should be the QB of the team outta San Antonio. Tebow if available should be on a team out of FL. Kaepernick should be on the San Diego maybe? Those kinda guys are big media names and have big draws in local markets. I also think veteran NFL players who've lost a step could step down a level and play in this league bringing more notoriety. Like Shady in a few seasons could be a huge signing in that league. I'm dying to see something like this work. There's nothing to do in NY until the weather breaks in May !

LeVeon Bell: What better fit for him than Buffalo?
peterpan replied to Victory Formation's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Id rather have Connors. Bells no-name replacement is out producing him this season, fwiw. RBs are easily replaceable.
