Duke Williams, I see him catching that forth down pass, keeping the game alive. Remember, the Ravens likely don't put their best CB on Duke either, so you have big Duke over there 1 on 1 with likely a nickel DB or something. When he played he produced. I've been complaing about Knoxs drops for weeks.

We've needed a big WR since 5 years before we drafted James Hardy.

Patriot's fans are upset with the officiating.
peterpan replied to Michael1962's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I've seen the bills lose a half dozen or more games to the cheaters over the years, due 100% to terrible calls. So I don't care. The pats deserve to go winless for twenty years for how badly they've cheated the rest of the league. -
Check out the replay. He wasn't. It was good D. Foster laid an egg.
-
He was not interfered with. So why would he get that call??
-
Foster was not interfered with. It was a good no call. Foster tho, he didn't come back to the ball, and he didn't jump for it and go for it at the highest point. He tried to catch it underhand like it was a punt. That's on him. If he high points the ball, he catches it.

I've been saying this exact thing all season. McKenzie can give us everything Roberts does in the return game. Whilest I believe Duke would be a real asset in the red zone. Specifically, I believe he makes that forth down catch at the end of the game. Maybe that's his only catch all day, but it's a big play and a good trade off.

NFL Puts Josh on List of Most Improved
peterpan replied to mykidsdad's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Allen's improvement has been off the charts. Maybe one of the most improved QBs in modern history, from college to NFL. Mainly mainly that is in just the last half of this season. Aaron Rodgers come to mind as another massive improvement, but he also spent 4 years on the bench, so it's not really the same. I'm praying it's not some fluke hot streak. I really don't believe it is. I think he continues to improve and hopefully just gets better and better. -
College vs Pro Football
peterpan replied to The Real Buffalo Joe's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I like the college rule of once you are down, you are down, no contact needed. It makes the game easier to officiate, fairer, less reviews, and safer. College replay review system is better. Close calls are reviewed upstairs by an impartial judge, not the ref on the field who already made the wrong call. It's human nature to not want to admit fault. Plus, the whole two challenges a game thing is dumb. I prefer two feet in bounds for a catch. In college, i don't like that the clock stops with every first down. Makes the game longer and takes away the hurry up factor at the end. -
My guess is that the "contact" is a From a Defender in the pocket or behind the LOS, thenall the yards he gains is "after contact"

Best Football Play by Play Announcers
peterpan replied to Halloween Land's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
One of those espn online channels allows you watch the game without any announcers. I thought it would be cool, ended up being kinda strange. -
Knox has made some big plays, but he's had a high number of drops too. We need someone more consistent at TE 1. Plus I love the idea of multiple stud TEs. OJ Howard is another guy whom seems under utilized and could be had. Maybe via trade if he's not a FA yet. It's possible bc TB will likely be looking for a QB.

It's crazy to me that some of these families are just bread for this.

Maybe we want to lose to the Ravens?
peterpan replied to peterpan's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Some of you are way to literal. I never said I WANTED them to lose. I was just mentioning that there may be a lot of benefits IF they lose. How unreal is that!!! Pats suck and they SHOULD lose a few more times. -
Watching the Ravens/49ers game, two of the best teams in the league, gave me the confidence that the Bills are FINALLY one of the NFLs top teams! So, while we are capable of beating Baltimore next week, do we want to?? Hear me out..... Beating the Ravens gives them 3 losses. Patriots are the first seed with 1. Bills would still have the 5th seed for the playoffs, whether we win or lose. When -WHEN - the Bills beat the cheaters in 3 weeks, they will have two losses, and lose the tie breaker with Baltimore for the #1 seed in the playoffs. This is HUGE. We want NE to miss the Super Bowl or else they will tie the Bills amazing record of 4 straight SBs!!!!!!!! The Pats would then have to play Kansas City (most likely) in the second round of the playoffs. That's a much harder game than say, Houston or the Steelers. For the AFC championship game, they would then, maybe, travel to Baltimore, rather being guaranteed home field advantage, where those cheaters have an unbelievable win record. The Bills on the other hand, will likely meet the Ravens in the second round of the playoffs. It's hard to beat a good team twice. We can use this first game as a learning experience, and not show our hand, even setting the Ravens up for our second meeting. Now that's some 5 dimension chess right there!!!

How good are Tannenhill and the Titans ?
peterpan replied to Teddy KGB's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Wet dream. Is he a FA? I'm usually against spending money on FA running backs, but maybe he won't demand a big contract -
Granted I feel asleep, but watching this game gives me more confidence that the Bills are finally for REAL. I think the Bills could beat both of these teams if they were playing today, and they are maybe the best two teams in the league. I've never felt this way in my whole life!! Go Bills!!

Freddie Kitchens wore a "Pittsburgh Started It" t-shirt
peterpan replied to StHustle's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Exactly. Some people are taking crazy pills to blame this on the Steelers. I think a lot of people like to just argue on the internet so they will take an obvious ridiculous position, just to argue with everyone else. -
Joshua Patrick Allen, aka Mr 3rd down
peterpan replied to Logic's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Anyone have his rushing for first downs stats?? I feel like he converts a few CRUCIAL third downs a game with his legs. Plus he has been dynamite in the red zone. -

How is he "not wrong"??? I watched the play, Garrett 100% started it -
Roll call for officiating conspiracy believers
peterpan replied to Ethan in Cleveland's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
The league rigs games 100%. Watch a NE game and you cannot claim otherwise. Isn't that the exact-same-thing??? Then you admit there is a financial influence. Duh. It's fixed. Certain teams are supposed to win and the refs can make that happen. 16 games a week I'd say maybe 2-3 are out of the refs hands. The other 13-14, winners are determined by the zebras more than the teams. There's probably a dozen Bills/Pats games over the last 20 years that the Bills woulda won had 2-3 HORRIBLE calls gone the CORRECT way rather than the Pats way. That's only the 2-3 worst calls, not the 5-10 others that were bad too. A couple as far back as 2005 come to mind. And a couple when Doug Marrone was coach. We easily woulda won those games, the Refs beat us, not the Pats*** -
10 days to prepare for Lamar and Ravens
peterpan replied to DJB's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Guys, right now Lamar Jackson doesn't have a weakness. He will destroy you with his legs or his arm. He is playing at a legendary level both running and passing. They are the best team in the league right now. BUT if they beat the 9ers, then we beat them, that makes US the Best team in the league!!! -
Teams get to choose where they put the ball. It can be anywhere between the two hashes. Teams will pick and hash bc the kicker feels it's easier.

Tell us your favorite Ref moment today...

The call on Jordan Phillips on the first drive of the game was worse. The Cowboys player was still standing, Phillips came running to hit him, actually missed and hit a Bills player, and was called for late hit. So -offensive player still standing and fighting for yards -no whistle -defender misses the tackle and makes no contact -still a penalty ¿???????????
