  1. Gilmore was the first guy I thought of, but wasn't sure if he counted as McD era. He's by far the most productive player post-Bills in the last 10 years. Defensive player of the year, mulitple All-Pro seasons, SB. I didnt remember that Woods left the same year. He had a couple outstanding years with the Rams.
  2. He had a baseball cap on from mid 3rd QTR until the end of the game. I don’t think he played a single snap in the 2nd half. I was at the game and watching him on the sideline, I wondered if he was injured. Or the coaches saw he was ineffective and not ready to go?
  3. What about 92 on the pass rush? Was a huge difference w out him today, compared to the first 4 games
  4. I'm all for hating on rival QBs. Burrow does seem full of himself. But IMO there's no question he's an elite QB in 2021 and 2022 he basically averaged 4,500 yards, 35 TDs, just shy of 70% completion rate, plus 3 Rush TDs / year. And he lead his team to the SB and AFCG. Those are 2 pretty awesome years. He's been bad so far in 2023, but I'll give him the benefit of the doubt playing through an injury. It's a long season. And he was voted #6 overall and #3 QB on the latest NFL 100. Anyone in the top 20 is Elite in my book.
  5. I saw a random stat on ESPN after the Raiders game, that Allen was the first QB in history to have 3 games with an 80%+ completion rate and at least 3 TDs before the age of 30. After the dominant performance against Miami he's now done it 4 times at the age of 27. For several years, Allen's been capable of blistering hot streaks where he's very accurate and nearly unstoppable. His play style makes it difficult to keep up 74% game by game. IMO he'll go through some ups & downs through the season and finish the year around 70%. As long as he keeps producing TDs and limits the TO's it's OK if his complettion % dips from the currnent rate. In addtion to the factors mentioned above, I think his improved pocket presence have helped completion % the last 3 weeks. Less scrambling around and throws on the run or throw aways.
  6. Love your comment on Wilkins. Only time I noticed him, was when he got in Allen’s face after a play was over
  7. Josh Allen!!! Stef Diggs Greg Rousseau Jackson McDermott Dorsey O-line 12th Man man, it’s great to have superstars in a big game
  8. Why would you assume this? In the last game the Dolphins played in Buffalo with Tua (week 14 last year), they didn't score at will. Dolphins had 10 drives - 3 TD's, 3 FGS, 4 punts, no turnovers. McDermoott now has more experience against the other McD as the Miami coach. The Bills are a good D, they should be able to hold them to punts or FGs on at least 1/2 their drives and at least 1 TO. in that game Bills had 11 drives - 4 TD's, 1 FG, 5 punts, 1 TO. Good clock management allowed Bills to get 1 more posession and kick winning FG at the buzzer. Based on recent history, good chance Sunday's game will be a close game wiht the winning team scoring somewhere between 27 - 35 points. My prediction 34 - 31 Bills.
  9. We had our share of games in OP during the drought years, with plenty of tix available in the $20's or less. Although that was usually after Thanksgiving and Bills officially eliminated.
  10. Kind of amazed how much praise the fish are getting in this thread. And also surprised how so many are writing off the Bengals after only 2 losses. From a Bills fan perspective, I would rather play Miami than Cinci in the playoffs, assuming teams are healthy. The Cinci D has been able to control the Chiefs, Dolphins, and Bills.
  11. Huh? The TD catch for Davis was big. But that was his only catch of the day. Allen was 0'fer on all other passes attempted to GD. Game balls for the entire D-Line of couse Bernard Bass-o-matic Diggs. Did you mean, Diggs had huge catches all day?
  12. OP - I loved watching the 2 games you have at #1 & 2. Celebrating the end of the playoff drought in the Dolphins stadium once the Ravens lost, was an all time great memory. Although, I would put the domination of NE at home in the playoffs as #1 in the McDermott era. Even though it clinched the division, not sure about 2020 Denver game as a top game. It would of been shocking if they lost that game. You could put the 2020 SF game up there instead. For me one of the most fun and entertaining games was the snowball game last year agains the fish. And it was well mangaged by McD & co to run down the clock and kick the game winning FG.
  13. Feel terrible for Diggs, and it’s a big loss for Dallas. But I don’t think it dooms their SB chances. They have such a deep talented roster on D, and a solid veteran QB w weapons on O. The Bills lost Tre White in 2021, were 7 - 6 and still made it 13 seconds from perhaps a SB. And they didn’t have anyone close to the talent level of Stefon Gilmore to fill in as CB1. I have SF & Philly ahead of them, but the Cowboys are right there.
  14. Does anyone know which Sideline is the HOME SIDE / Bills sideline in London? Don't have tickets yet and would prefer to be on the Bills side
  15. Did you watch the whole game? Watching the game, I must’ve said to my wife at least 3 times, Wallace is having a rough game. He dropped an easy interception, lost contain on a 70 yard run, gave up multiple 20 yard completions, and I think had a penalty. I really liked him with the Bills, and still root for him. But he was clearly the weak link on the Steelers D against Cleveland.
  16. Here’s an excerpt, “ Trotter did "not hear the alleged Pegula remark firsthand" but "reported the account of someone else who did.". https://www.sportsbusinessjournal.com/Articles/2023/09/13/jim-trotter-nfl-lawsuit-terry-pegula-refutes-allegations#:~:text=Racism has no place in,comment when another NFL Media
  17. It's a good point, but not just lately. I think this pattern has recurred thoughout his career. Allen is 0 - 5 in OT and several of those games were similar. In the Houston playoff game the Bills were up by 16 and the Vikings game last year the Bills were up by 17. In both games and Monday night Josh had a meltdown where he made spastic boneheaded plays, turned the ball over and the team gave up huge leads and got behind in the final minutes. Only for Allen to lead them down the field to tie the game in closing seconds and go to OT. All 3 games, the Bills had an OT posession did nothing, punted away and opposition won the game on next possesion. During the 4th QTR and OT on Monday night, I kept thinking we have seen this movie before.
  18. Trotter didn't even say that he heard it directly. Supposedly, Someone else told Trotter that Pegula said it. It's hearsay and gossip from Trotter
  19. Not a good comparison. If a store overprices goods they open the door for a competitor to take their business. The customer who is willing to pay $1.00 for a bag of potatoes, but can't afford $.20 each, can go the grocery store and buy it by the bag, or perhaps a new covenience store. If there's a market to make a profit on $1.00 bags of potatoes with a little effort consumers will be able to get them. They dont need to steal, just don't give your business to the overpriced store. The NFL has a limited anti-trrust exemption and is essentially a monoply. Of course, customers can choose not to consume NFL football. But unlike potatoes, you don't have a choice to legally buy it somewhere else.
  20. It's a good point. It's not just the money. It's become a hassle to keep up with all the streaming services and outlets to watch sports. 20 years ago I got DirectTV and made the decision to pay for MLB, NFL packages and all the regional sports channels. As a big sports it was worth it to me. Now you have to pay for multiple media companies. Off the NFL, but now alot of MLB games aren't availalble with their own MLB package b/c of Apple TV etc. Even when you pay you cant see all the games. One wierd example is that I pay for a regional sports package including the YES network and I still pay for MLB season package. But YES or MLB blacks out replays of Yankee games outside of New York. You can watch the game live, but you can't watch the replay even after paying for the services. Stupid crap like that, pushes people to go onto the pirated streaming sites.
  21. it's really $400+ minimum if you don't already have Youtube TV. Or $665+ tax if you want the $300 season rate, because you need to pay $73/mo for at least 5 months to have Youtube TV during the season.
  22. He’s a total d-bag. Better off not to respond to his moronic comments
