  1. it was either incomplete, a fumble, or shouldve been 4th down. I think incomplete would've been the correct call. But the Bills made so many blunders and lost in such a stupid way, that picking out questionable calls by refs just doesn't give any satisfaction.
  2. Vikings are probalby up there. They've had some crazy losses including playoff games, and have a good loyal fan base But yeah, being a Bills fan hardens you. It sucks when you can rank just heartbreaking Monday Night Football losses. That one last night only ranks 3rd worse for me on MNF. Also sucks, when you know it's coming. I didn't say it out loud, But when Denver missed the the 2nd extra point, I immediately thought Bills will lose 24 - 22.
  3. That would suck if we don’t get it done, and miss out the chance to make KC come to OP. That would suck if we don’t get it done, and miss out the chance to make KC come to OP.
  4. I don't see the Bills beating Cincy, difficult match up and the Bengals looked great yesterday. I feel good about the other games including the Eagles.
  5. In general I think Vegas has been more optimistic on the Bills the last 2 seassons than many of us who follow the team closely. Bills were 8 - 10 ATS in 2022, and 3 - 5 ATS so far this year. So .423 winning % the last 2 seasons. There were a couple speads recently that seeemd really questionable, Bills minus 5 against Jacksonville and minus 11.5 against the Patriots. I expected the Bills to win both games, but it seemed like there were factors going into those games that shoudl have made the spreads lower. Personally, I don't bet against the Bills. And usually don't bet on the Bills , except for playoffs. And I do that hoping to spend the winnings on SB trip, not necessarily because it's a good bet.
  6. If McD goes for it on either of these early 4th QTR 4th downs in plus territory, I believe they get ‘em and rhe Bills win by 28. O was playing well. Just got ultra conservative
  7. Reminder: The Bills have never won a Super Bowl. Just because something hasn't happeend in the past, doesn't mean it can't happen in the future.
  8. Love that Josh has learned to play so well against Belichick's D. And that he's been a Dolphin killer right since he came into the league. Cam Newton really couldn't throw at the end of his career. His throwing motion was awful. "Throw like a girl" comes to mind
  9. 3rd & Goal game on the line. Perfect soft spiral lofted over the shoulder. Easiest catch in the world. I still wonder if Harmon was paid off or had money on the Browns.
  10. Ronnie Harmon
  11. It's not showing any % about performance in the playoffs, only the seeding entering the playoffs. Each place is the probabiltiy for each seed. Ex. it shows the Bills with 6% chance to get the 1 seed, and 10% chance to get the 5 seed. It has the Dolphins 57% chance to wind the divison and the Bills only a 29% chance.
  12. Interesting that this one only gives the Bills a 54% chance to make the playoffs. And shows both the Colts & Steelers w higher probability to get in.
  13. Gilmore was the first guy I thought of, but wasn't sure if he counted as McD era. He's by far the most productive player post-Bills in the last 10 years. Defensive player of the year, mulitple All-Pro seasons, SB. I didnt remember that Woods left the same year. He had a couple outstanding years with the Rams.
  14. He had a baseball cap on from mid 3rd QTR until the end of the game. I don’t think he played a single snap in the 2nd half. I was at the game and watching him on the sideline, I wondered if he was injured. Or the coaches saw he was ineffective and not ready to go?
  15. What about 92 on the pass rush? Was a huge difference w out him today, compared to the first 4 games
  16. I'm all for hating on rival QBs. Burrow does seem full of himself. But IMO there's no question he's an elite QB in 2021 and 2022 he basically averaged 4,500 yards, 35 TDs, just shy of 70% completion rate, plus 3 Rush TDs / year. And he lead his team to the SB and AFCG. Those are 2 pretty awesome years. He's been bad so far in 2023, but I'll give him the benefit of the doubt playing through an injury. It's a long season. And he was voted #6 overall and #3 QB on the latest NFL 100. Anyone in the top 20 is Elite in my book.
  17. I saw a random stat on ESPN after the Raiders game, that Allen was the first QB in history to have 3 games with an 80%+ completion rate and at least 3 TDs before the age of 30. After the dominant performance against Miami he's now done it 4 times at the age of 27. For several years, Allen's been capable of blistering hot streaks where he's very accurate and nearly unstoppable. His play style makes it difficult to keep up 74% game by game. IMO he'll go through some ups & downs through the season and finish the year around 70%. As long as he keeps producing TDs and limits the TO's it's OK if his complettion % dips from the currnent rate. In addtion to the factors mentioned above, I think his improved pocket presence have helped completion % the last 3 weeks. Less scrambling around and throws on the run or throw aways.
  18. Love your comment on Wilkins. Only time I noticed him, was when he got in Allen’s face after a play was over
  19. Josh Allen!!! Stef Diggs Greg Rousseau Jackson McDermott Dorsey O-line 12th Man man, it’s great to have superstars in a big game
  20. Bills. 34 Fish. 31
  21. Why would you assume this? In the last game the Dolphins played in Buffalo with Tua (week 14 last year), they didn't score at will. Dolphins had 10 drives - 3 TD's, 3 FGS, 4 punts, no turnovers. McDermoott now has more experience against the other McD as the Miami coach. The Bills are a good D, they should be able to hold them to punts or FGs on at least 1/2 their drives and at least 1 TO. in that game Bills had 11 drives - 4 TD's, 1 FG, 5 punts, 1 TO. Good clock management allowed Bills to get 1 more posession and kick winning FG at the buzzer. Based on recent history, good chance Sunday's game will be a close game wiht the winning team scoring somewhere between 27 - 35 points. My prediction 34 - 31 Bills.
  22. We had our share of games in OP during the drought years, with plenty of tix available in the $20's or less. Although that was usually after Thanksgiving and Bills officially eliminated.
  23. Kind of amazed how much praise the fish are getting in this thread. And also surprised how so many are writing off the Bengals after only 2 losses. From a Bills fan perspective, I would rather play Miami than Cinci in the playoffs, assuming teams are healthy. The Cinci D has been able to control the Chiefs, Dolphins, and Bills.
