Looking forward to the surprise. Final episode info: “In a road-trip story, a reclusive prepper abandons his bunker in search of a female prepper from his past; along the way, he meets an unlikely ally who is his polar opposite; they team up in an effort to find their loved ones.” The last episode promo is odd: We hear Saul saying the vacuum model code that may be used to convey to the vacuum man that he needs extraction and a new identity. But as we hear Saul saying this—out of breath and clearly in distress—we see Saul’s 1998 Suzuki Esteem that was shot up during the ambush in the desert last season, when Saul almost got killed retrieving Lalo’s bail money. We know that Lalo and Nacho found the car but nothing has been mentioned of it since. What is the significance?

Shouldn’t this be in the Florida Man thread?

This is going back a while but suggest ‘Dr. Katz Professional Therapist’. Some of Katz’s therapy ‘patients’: Joan Rivers, Ray Romano, Stephen Wright, Dave Chapelle, Julia Louise-Dreyfus, Jeff Goldblum, Mitch Hedberg, David Duchovny, Winona Ryder, Conan O’Brien, & many others. I enjoy the patients but the interaction between Katz, his deadbeat son, his receptionist, and people at the nearby bar are also funny. 20 min/episode for a daily laugh. You can find the episodes for free on youtube. Hope squiggle-vision does not hamper the enjoyment. -

The Best “One Year Wonders” in Bills History

Damien Covington - looked like a future linebacking star in 97. In his final game, an overtime loss to Denver, Covington had 20 solo tackles. But he had a devastating knee injury the next week in practice and never played again. -
Gene is hitting the dirt just as that episode foreshadowed. After the Kim call & managing Cinnabon…maybe he no longer cares. He was almost popped in the dept store heist and will probably meet an end in the current ID and credit scam.

Considering Wilmington (already mentioned) and Asheville, NC. Different climates but consistency with events, nightlife, food, and culture. Also, close enough where children live who are getting married this year.

KC third should also go here:

Maybe the 12th of October works better for you.

Range anxiety was an issue at first for me. But when I drive distances and found through different apps where chargers were located, I lost that anxiety. There are portable batteries that you can place in your EV that will provide an extra charge if you need it. Maybe you need something like that if you get an EV. @ExiledInIllinois mentioned concern with battery replacement. I have that concern as well though I know Tesla owners who have had their model S approaching 10 yrs. They have lost some range but are not concerned yet with battery replacement. i have taken a different approach. I purchased my Tesla 2 years ago and sold it a few months ago for more than I paid. I will buy another one very soon. They are deploying new battery technology which reduces the battery cells required and thus the weight which results in an increase in range…plus they charge faster. The car is a computer with wheels and technology is constantly changing. I guess I am considered an early adopter but I research before I purchase. High demand for Tesla EVs so may sell and buy another every few years to keep up with technology updates. I sold the car within a week of listing it so feel this approach is cost-effective and keeps up with technology changes.

Yes, google maps uses speed limits when calculating drive time. But it also doesn’t use fuel stops in its time calculation. But I am no longer doing a 48 hr cross country meth run by car. When I drive by ICE, there was one fuel stop for a drive from VA to WNY. That was about a 20 min stop. In the EV, there are now 2 stops of 20 min. That is an increase of 20 mins in an EV vs ICE for the 500 mi trip and I am fine with that.

Yes, that would include 6 hrs of charge time. I have used the ABRP app previously and I have found it to be conservative in its planning approach on recharging. I expect that I can prob lower the supercharging stops by 3-4 which would decrease the total recharge time to a bit over 5 hrs. I have not taken a long trip in a while and gas prices have increased. But the last trip I took my calculations for supercharging was about 1/2 to 2/3 the cost of gas for the same miles in a 25-30 mpg ICE vehicle.

I live in central VA and just used the ABRP app to plan a trip to LA. it will take 46 hr and 38 min. It would take 22 supercharges to drive the 2700 miles. I am using a Tesla and it appears there are adequate superchargers along the way. I have driven it all over the east coast with no issues. I usually stop after 3-4 hrs of driving to go to the restroom, get a coffee & snack, & stretch the legs. Supercharge is done in 20-25 mins which is about the right amt of time for a brief stop. Though I would consider another EV manufacturer for my next car, it would have to use Tesla’s supercharger network. I am not going to wait hrs to get a charge to move on when on a long distance trip. I am in a fortunate location which is perfect for an EV. There are 8 free level 2 chargers within 2/3 blocks of my house. I never pay to charge my EV except when on a long drive and use a supercharger. I just drive to one of the local chargers & plug in and walk home. Walk back a few hours later and drive home. All the free EV miles (I do not even plug in at home) helps with ROI in the EV. I realize everyone else is not in this same situation. But a year ago there were only 2 free level 2 chargers within 2/3 blocks of my house but now there are 8. EV infrastructure is occurring.

You are not 😜 about 9 or 10 wins? Do you feel that is too low or high? Who in the AFC East can challenge the Bills? Not the Jets for a couple of years and that is if their MILF stud is actually a QB. Tua is has been no problem for the Bills D and 17 crushes the Fins D, Jones is meh. That is 6 wins right there.
-
Too bad 😘 I know I will see you at Titans game.
-
Hey, my man, I am doing the 1st two and might do the triple header. You can do it. Last year’s game at Fins was my fave road game so would like to go again.

It will be interesting to see how they fit Carol Burnett as Marion into this story.
