  1. Thx for posting this. This is outstanding if DTV can pull it off! Sure, I can stream but Sunday Ticket on DTV always works easily & reliably. Occasionally, but only rarely, I DVR the game like others have mentioned and start watching 30-45 mins after the game has started. Have to remember to temporarily turn off messaging on my phone, too. We primarily use Apple TV and just keep whatever is necessary on DTV to get Sunday Ticket.
  2. The Vikes game is Nov 13 so the overhead heaters might be in play. Be aware the the first few rows of 200 level club seats are beyond the cover of the 300 level overhang so not only do you miss out on the heat but also are subject to the elements like rain & snow. Also, the clubs have their own rest rooms, food courts, and bars. I have club seats and take my Dad (88 yrs old) to one game/yr. Without the club seat amenities, I would not consider taking him.
  3. I’ll let it go. I can’t comprehend why someone would prefer the non-flavor of Miller or Bud light. Figure he is hoping for some type sponsorship for the podcast.
  4. Have to provide some feedback regarding this. Right now in the MLB, there is no salary cap. This is current ranking of 2022 MLB team salaries…huge disparities between the haves and the have nots: https://boardroom.tv/mlb-team-payrolls-2022/ Current players who will be making more money this season than the entire Oakland #Athletics with their $33 million payroll: Max Scherzer, #Yankees: $43.3M Corey Seager, #Rangers: $37.5M Anthony Rendon, #Angels: $37.5M Gerrit Cole, #Yankees: $36M Carlos Correa, #Twins: $35.1M I used to be a huge baseball fan but no longer. I will also disregard the NFL if they move away from an equal salary cap. Apart from certain star players, the quality of the infrastructure (GM, coaches, staff…even owner) in the NFL is what differentiates one team from another…not the $ you have. That is not to say some team with a lower salary in MLB cannot win. But when they do, the top spending teams will snag their best players.
  5. Putting this here rather than similar Zach Wilson post. This is a list of the QB coaches for current AFCE QBs in their NFL career. Not sure much can be deduced from this other than Josh has longer QB coaching staff consistency; it does not appear Tua has an offseason QB coach like the others and more turnover for him though a bit for Jones as well. Bills - Josh Allen Jordan Palmer (offseason QB coach) David Culley 2018 (unemployed) Ken Dorsey 2019-21 (now Bills OC) Joe Brady 2022 Fins - Tua Tagovailoa Athletic (offseason trainer but not QB coach) Robby Brown 2020 (unemployed) Charlie Frye 2021 (unemployed) Darrell Bevell 2022 Pats - Mac Jones Tom House (offseason QB coach) Bo Hardegree/Josh McDaniels 2021 (both now with Raiders) Joe Judge (Pats still vague) 2022 Jets - Zach Wilson John Beck (offseason QB coach) Rob Calabrese 2021-22
  6. …worth watching the subsequent Talking Saul episode which was entertaining and good follow to Season 6 halftime had Odenkirk, Rhea Seehorn, Patrick Fabian, Peter Gould, and other cast members.
  7. I believe the 1099-K threshold for reporting is now $600. Reselling a few tix to popular games makes that hill easy to climb.
  8. The NFL is conducting their own investigation. Would the NFL release their ‘punishment’ on Watson prior to the settlement of these 22 cases? If they did and it was severe, could this be leveraged for the plaintiffs?
  9. Season Ticket Member
  10. With e-tix not certain there is fine print about that. In my post on p.1, I quoted the T&C for Season Ticket Members and it appears tix can be re-sold. The restrictions for Packers STHs does not apply to Bills STHs. That is my opinion. a) STM shall not sell, assign, sublease, pledge, or otherwise transfer or encumber the Agreement or any of the STM’s rights and obligations under the Agreement, without the prior written consent of the Bills. Any attempted sale, assignment, sublease, pledge, transfer or encumbrance in contravention of the foregoing shall be null and void and of no effect. This shall not be construed to restrain STM’s ability to resell individual tickets.”
  11. After posting this about the Packers, I investigated the Bills STH Terms & Conditions. https://static.clubs.nfl.com/image/upload/v1579706489/bills/m4yj8aee0vw6u6xl34lx.pdf Below is the only item I found that is relevant. The last sentence, imo, permits re-sale. But you know, like the Pack, the Bills are aware who are consistently reselling their season tix…because the Bills are not getting that $. “a) STM shall not sell, assign, sublease, pledge, or otherwise transfer or encumber the Agreement or any of the STM’s rights and obligations under the Agreement, without the prior written consent of the Bills. Any attempted sale, assignment, sublease, pledge, transfer or encumbrance in contravention of the foregoing shall be null and void and of no effect. This shall not be construed to restrain STM’s ability to resell individual tickets.”
  12. There was an article today about long-time Packers STH wait-list people obtaining tix this year. This is a link to the article and the reason these STHs were relieved of their tix. I am a STH so it got my interest. https://www.usatoday.com/story/sports/nfl/packers/2022/05/20/packers-season-tickets-fans-50-year-wait/9853572002/ "The team made the determination to not renew a selection of tickets of a handful of ticketholders who held a significant number of tickets that were primarily being resold on a regular basis above face value," said Aaron Popkey, director of public affairs. "Packers season tickets are intended to be used by the ticketholder, including family and others, to attend the game. The tickets identified and not renewed were simply being resold for a profit. It was a pattern that existed for years."
  13. Thx for the analysis. Wow, that roster looks good! Time for a celebratory cocktail. 🥳
  14. I have found that I can work remote when I need now due to pandemic changing things. But that helps me work remote while in WNY for these prime time games.
  15. My wife and I are coming from VA for the opener and we plan on stopping by. Anybody doing t-shirts? Will send $.
  16. So, my sentence after the shows displayed was not true. I took a chance and also purchased tix for Mason’s Saucerful of Secret’s show at Shea’s on Oct 9. The schedule was released & bam! Steelers at Bills 1 pm on 10/9. We will fly up and go to the game and then later that night go to Shea’s for the concert. Though this is week 5, I am optimistic, based on games already scheduled, that this game will not be flexed.
  17. Nope, Bills face AFCW next year and last time vs AFCW was 2020 and KC was in Buffalo. In 2023 it will be in KC.
  18. Mike North and Charlotte Carey were on GMF this morning (Kay Adams last day) and spoke about the schedule. North thought the Bills-Chiefs game will be the most watched of the season. Opener discussion starts at 2:35 and Bills-Chiefs at 4:00. https://sports.yahoo.com/mike-north-charlotte-carey-shares-124907315.html
  19. Not at all, because Packers are already scheduled to play in London on the same day as shown on his Bills schedule.
  20. Thx @corta765, I believe that represents my perspective. I have 2 clubs and 2 lower bowls which I have had for quite a while. In the survey I received, my remark was requesting them to send the final costs and associated amenities asap so I can make an informed decision.
  21. Tomorrow, May 9, on GMA, the new MNF crew will announce their biggest MNF game. One international MNF game has already been announced, 49ers and Cards on Nov 21. https://thespun.com/more/top-stories/troy-aikman-joe-buck-reportedly-making-big-announcement-next-week

  23. That is the schedule release NFL Network show on 5/12 at 8 pm for luddites. The schedule will already be available all over the web.
  24. Scott Radecic is working at Populous and quoted in the article. Bills LB from ‘87-89.
  25. NFL Network is channel 212 on Directv.
